The attack was induced by the students' Dean. Management is using the SUG to fight JAC. Unfortunately,our students don't learn from history. The same Dean of student Affairs that led some SUG members to remove palm frond juju tied to the school gate some years ago, that led as claimed by some to the death of the then SUG president is at it again.
The Dean has corrupted the SUG by sponsoring them on trips to Dubai,Mallaysia,UK and other places on the bill of SUG fees paid by the students yearly.Teaching our leaders of tomorrow on how to chop tax payers money.

Management should face JAC and solve the school's problem without sacrificing the precious souls of our students.

Students should wise up and stop being a tool in the hands of the evil sycophants. ASUU should not allow the management to push the union against the JAC union.

What they need is common sense. FRSC is the worst set of uniform men in Nigeria. Most of their staff are so arrogant. They lack common sense. They use themselves as barrier on the high way and mounts road blocks at wrong spots. Carrying firearms will results in wanton destruction of lives on our roads. They will surely mis-use the arms. Nigerian should resist this unreasonable development. RIP to the late ones.

Just wait till proper investigations are done and truth comes to fore. I know about the atrocities of this VC and his boys in various sectors of the school. He placed them to run the school dry. Prof Alese B.K. ,the DEAN of student affairs from CSC is one of them. He knows next to nothing about computing but raised some boys to take over every contract in the school that has to do with computer and Computing. The last post UTME was an evidence of his mediocracy. How can you invite students all the way from far places for 2mins screening?Imagine the risk. The one before the last,there was massive error. The database crashed and many students were just awarded arbitrary marks. The introduction of CBT to the school is another means to make money for the VC and his boys. The contract is giving to a private company jointly owned by Alese,VC,Segun and one Mr David. The University is billed certain amount per student. This CBT work belongs to the Computer Resource Centre of the University. They have rendered many centers useless in other to take over their work and make money from it. Admission process is never the work of DEAN of students Affairs but was taken over to make money from the process. Center for Continuous studies is also manned by Prof Okunola. He is one of his cronies too. They charge PDS and co some fees that are paid into private accounts. There are proves carefully compiled by NASSU arm of the school. This arm is the most active. Even ASSUU is set for serious show down with the VC. They are corrupt and do it with grave impunity. They intimidate people and enrich themselves. Just wait and watch. You will soon know more about them.

My husband bought a new phone from Gsm village, and gave the boys his old phone to transfer his contacts and medias, and ofcos gave them his passwords too, unknowingly to him, they put a tracking device on his phone, a day after, he started receiving anonymous messages with his location details, he told me about it and I said this could be dangerous let's take it to the authorities but he waved it off and said it was nothing, about a week after, he was ambushed on his way to Abuja for a business meeting, they robbed him and shot him and his brother, his brother pretended he was dead, and heard their conversations, according to him,one of them said they should take the phone so it won't be linked to them, the other suggested that they leave his phone so they can continue tracking incase police starts investigating and are on to them, so the brother knew they followed his phone, he managed to get help after they left and contacted the police but my husband did not make it, he died with a single bullet wound to his chest. After a long investigation, the two boys are no where to be found, one of them is a graduate of IT and the other is still a student, their names are Austin Ikedi and Franklin Kingsley, the police are doing everything possible to get hold of them, the few family members that were reached said they haven't seen or heard from any of them since January.
Pls I want everybody to be careful who they give their phones to, these transfers are easy and you can do them yourself if you chose to learn it to save your life or that of a loved one, some of them actually put these trackers in brand new phones, you can't see it, and you will never know they are tracking you, some of them it's just to rob you, but so many have been killed along the line, or they take vital information from your phone and use it against you, pls be careful and don't fall a victim of these evil people.

After five months and 10 days that the public universities have been on strike, the Federal Government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities on Wednesday finally signed a fresh agreement.

The fresh pact is the review of the Federal Government/ASUU 2012 Memorandum of Understanding reached on the 2009 agreement.

Both parties, however, refused to reveal the details of the agreement to journalists who witnessed the signing of the agreement.

The meeting was almost boycotted by the union until the intervention of stakeholders.

ASUU had on Tuesday vowed not to attend the meeting because there was no commitment and proper invitation from the government.

The union had demanded for proof of the payment of the N200bn into a Central Bank of Nigeria account for public universities, non-victimisation clause, review of the agreement in 2014 and that a representative of government, preferably the Attorney-General of the Federation to sign the agreement as conditions to call off the strike which began on July 1.

Our correspondent, however, gathered that the union got three of its demands while it relinquished one to the government.

The Federal Government agreed to present evidence of payment, implement the non-victimisation clause and that the agreement was open to re-negotiation in 2014.

But it was the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education, MacJohn Nwaobiala, who signed the agreement on behalf of the government contrary to the demand of the union.

ASUU President, Dr. Nasir Faggae, signed on behalf of the union while the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Abdulwaheed Omar, signed as a witness to the agreement.

The Supervising Minister of Education, Nyesom Wike, who presided over the meeting, said there was “no victor no vanquished” in the dispute.

He said the Federal Government was alive to its responsibility to restore normalcy to the university system.

Wike argued that government only directed the vice-chancellors of federal universities to immediately reopen the universities for academic activities pending when other minor discrepancies would be sorted out.

“Today, I am very pleased to announce that all contending issues between ASUU and the Federal Government have been resolved to the satisfaction of the parties.

“Let me emphasise that we recognise and appreciate ASUU’s patriotic role and commitment towards ensuring that our universities are well-funded, resourced and run like their counterparts in other parts of the world.

“Thus, we are all partners in progress and there is no victor; no vanquished in the struggle of this nature for as long as our goals remain noble, not actuated by parochial interests, but targeted at moving our nation forward.”

The minister on behalf of President Goodluck Jonathan thanked Nigerians, the National Assembly, the labour unions, traditional rulers, parents and students for showing understanding.

In his response, Faggae commended the President for his intervention in the dispute.

He, however, stressed that the strike could not have lingered if government had agreed to document the agreement reached with the union.

“If what we have agreed with Mr. President at that 13-hour meeting had been judiciously documented and our members were convinced that it was going to be implemented, we wouldn’t have waited this while because we also have a lot of respect for the office of Mr. President and that of the Vice-President.

“But you see our members are intellectuals, I keep saying this. It is simply because over the years particularly since the signing of the 2009 agreement we have been pursuing government to get that agreement implemented.

“We rarely succeeded in getting a portion of that agreement implemented by the government. Here we are, we have gone for about four years but it is never too late to turn a new page and make sure we do what is right with our universities.”

Faggae said the country must place high premium on education if it hoped to catch up with developed world.

Faggae who said the decision to call-off the strike lied with the National Executive Council of the union, promised that the message would be delivered within one week for a final decision on the strike.

“We would now take this document to our members and we are confident that our members will do the appropriate thing.

“It was a sacrifice that was worth taking to ensure that we do what is right for our country,” he added.

In an interview, Faggae said ASUU would make its position known to government “within one week.”

Recently I was ruminating on the passage of the Bible above. I asked myself,why did God ask men to leave their parents that have so much laboured and invested on them and, cleave to their wife. By cleaving, I understand that you have to live to please your wife at the expense of your parents in all things and at all times. It seems an herculean task. I also realised that the word "wife" in God's view is as defined in Prov 31-A virtous wife.

The wisdom here is that, God is telling men not to marry a woman that they dont love more than their parents. He Has laid down a guideline on the qualities to watch out for in a woman. If you marry the wrong one,you have disobeyed God.The penalty is that you are hooked as long as she lives (1Cor 7:39). You will leave to manage the problem for the rest of your life.You will live in pain if you find yourself with a wife that hates her inlaw. Genarally speaking,many wives sees their mother inlaw a big problem and they are not ready to study and understand them.They have forgotten that they are mother inlaw to be.

The same thing goes to women,pls dont marry a man that doesnt want to see your people. Put him to test to see if he loves you more than his parents. A man that doesnt love you more than his parents is not your man.

God knows that the love between children and their parents is very strong. But He expects that the love between a man and his wife should be much more stronger in order to have a blissful home.

Every child in his/her right senses loves and respects his/her parents hence, God is saying that apart from every other factors to be considered before you say I do, make sure you put your partner to test on this last point.

Finally, to the married, if you are in problem as a result of your ignorance, dont seek for divorce.It will worsen the situation.You wont be fit for heaven anymore.The solution is PRAYER. Separate your immediate family from your extended one as much as possible. Show your partner more love, because love covers many sins.
