Of course there would be fans like that!
But the fact is that nobody knows the spirit behind the posting of that photo.
If it was only a friendly banter over the phone or maybe at a breakfast table and they all laughed it off, then it's okay, cool, no problems.
But anything other than that would be a very cruel move from Rakitic. You do not post such stuff especially if it brings bad memories to your friend and team mate.
That's why I mean that no one has the right to judge what happened since we are all not insiders.
But personally I am 99 percent sure that it was only a friendly banter and that Messi and Raki probably both laughed it off. They've been teammates for 5 years now. There's no way he's using it to take a dig at Messi. Not while he's still a Barcelona player. No way! |

I really just think that a lot of people sincerely misinterpreted Rakitic's intentions.
Barcelona fans, and Barcelona haters alike.
Who knows? Am quite sure that Rakitic, Messi and others were all seated at a breakfast table and laughing it off when Rakitic posted that..
And then we have people like Jokerman who are as far from Camp Nou as the sun from earth, thinking they hit a jackpot. Don't defend them. They didn't misinterpret him. They were just annoyed he floored Messi. Let's face it, Rakitic is one of the most hated Barça players. Now, he floored the most loved player, and 2 years down the line, he was reminiscing such moment? "They didn't misinterpret. They never cared to understand. Rakitic doesn't have that right to. No one has." that's what happened there. Messi can floor anybody, but nobody should floor Messi? Messi probably looked at the picture and trolled back Ivan. They both laughed over it. But there they were, getting a hard dick over a troll. If they know how many times Messi gets trolled, and who trolls him in camp, they probably would hate more players |

ddippset: I think he's just joking around;
But i think it's and expensive one considering how that game and that tournament went.
I remember even Messi was blamed for Caballlero throwing throwing to ball to Rebic for Croatia's first goal. I think that post merely showed that there are much more Messi cocksuckers than there are Barcelona fans. |

daveP: Seems even Musa no want as he see the clash. I imagine how camp go scatter that night. Vince was a respected man. People would have always taken his side. Considering his ma. And Oliseh. WTH? What does he mean by he needed a captain he could count on in the long run? What kinda lame excuse is that? So cos Iniesta was retiring that year meant the coach to strip off his captainship? I'm still trying to get the logic behind it. Vince was emotional, he was disrespected, yes. But the coach was merely trying to stamp his authority. So that no one would take him for a ride. If he could treat Vince like that, then he could treat anyone else |

Subzero047: Have you considered that it's because of the work he has put in the last 5 years, when he eventually wants to win something the work will be yanked away from him I understand. I wasn't looking at it from the angle of an Eagles fan. If I were, I wouldn't care, I'd just want him to stay. I was looking at it from his own angle. Knowing how dubious his employers can be. How they started demanding from him things they hadn't been demanding in the twilight of his contract, and how they started rubbishing him. And this is just a preamble |

charlesemeka85: Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr has expressed his desire to continue managing the team by penning a new contract, reports Completesports.com. Rohr’s current deal will expire in June and the Nigeria Football Federation is ready to offer the German an extension.
NFF president Amaju Pinnick stated on Tuesday that Rohr must abide with some conditions in the new contract.
Rohr states that money is not a motivational factor at this stage of his coaching career and is ready to continue his adventure in Nigeria.
“I’m waiting for the (contract) proposal. Things could be very easy. I don’t want more money, bonuses.I just want to keep doing this,” the former Bordeaux gaffer stated in an Instagram chat with Collin Udoh.
“Personally, I received a few offers from other countries but I rejected them. I just want to take this team to the next Africa Cup of Nations and the World Cup.”
Rohr, who has previously managed Gabon , Niger and Burkina Faso national teams was named Super Eagles head coach in August 2016 .
On October 7, 2017, his Nigeria-led team became the first African side to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup after a 1–0 win against Zambia.
He led Nigeria to a third-place finish at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations. Looooollll I'm beginning to think this man is jobbing us. You can't have been really receiving a better offer, and you want to die on Nigeria. Ones that are starting to thrash you. Maybe it's cos the squad is full of potential, and he still needs it to land his dream job. That's the only possible reason |

BascoVanVeli: I think the right thing to do was to put contract discussions off until the world is in a stable place. That said I see no issue in the terms put on the table. There was nothing mind blowing, the only question is If the coach wants to stay in Nigeria or not. I do have a major problem with the publicizing of the terms prior to a contract being signed in that manner. When the Federation does it, there's no problem. When Rohr was doing it last year, saying they were yet to pay him, he was violating his terms of contract. Loooooolll We never see shishi |

Danielnino00: Of course I understand that the naira isn't stable.. and with falling oil price,it expected to loss more value... But the nff can still pay Rohr in Naira, the dollar equivalent of his agreed salary... His current Salary is $55k that's approximately #20m ... So let's say the naira drops to 500/USD then that can pay him 27m naira like that and it will still be $55k ..
We don't know yet if the contract states that he will be paid at an agreed fee in Naira .. if that's the case, then it's not a very good clause ... Hasn't that been our argument? |

but if the coach wanna work with the Eagles, he should accept, and shame the NFF,
by giving his best How can you give your best working in a condition that doesn't soothes you? No be here we dey all throughout ending of last year wey NFF dey carry am play? You think the conditions they're giving him is going to make him work, even half as good? It seems Rohr has spoilt us so bad that we forgot we didn't qualify for the previous 2 Nations Cup. Back to Back. He was working in his own conditions and we qualified for world cup in a group with Zambia, Algeria and Cameroon.......comfortably!!!! He was working on his own conditions and we qualified for nations cup, after missing 2 back to back, as group leaders. Working in his own conditions!!!!!! No be say he ask for a pay rise. No be sey he dey collect bribe. No be say he's totally unfair in his selections. No be the same last year NFF said he has to submit his called players to them for vetting before he releases it? He's trying to steer clear of scandals, and yet, we're seeing 1/2 player(s) that's not supposed to be there, there, in his own conditions. I wonder what we'd see when he starts working in NFFs conditions. The way some of us really think it's about promoting local content bewilders me |

Make una dey do like sey una no know sey na subtle way of telling the gaffer to pack his bags and be going. The same league we Nigerians can't watch on TV is what you're compelling the gaffer to watch. I have no problems with he living in Nigeria. He being paid in Naira? Except if his salary is $10000 and he'd be paid in whatever equivalent in Naira. I support that. But if his salary is 1m, in Naira......yeah, that's not it. His choice sha, I'm not really bothered about that. What I'm bothered about is forcing the national team coach to develop players from the league......like, does that even make sense to you? Even we Nigerians can't watch NPFL except in the stadia, and you want the gaffer to be developing the league and it's players. Like he's the LMC. Make una kuku kill the team, all in the name of misplaced patriotism |
