It's your choice, but i think it's better to be safe than sorry. You can choose the same university with two different courses but just make sure your subject combinations are correct.

Please anyone, which polytechnic accepts the JAMB subject combinations; English, Maths, Physics and Chemistry for Computer Science (or any other course)?

Osumare2013: Stop merigorounding. Funaab got nothng to do with change of course/institution. It's not a contributing factor in whatsoever level.

HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR COMPOSITE

Ur Jamb score carries 50%, hence ur jamb score is divided by 8.

Ur O level carries 20%: It is calculated using the 5 core subjects.
A1-6points
B2-5
B3-4
C4-3
C5-2
C6-1
The total points is then mutiplied by 2/3.

Ur Post utme score is multiplied by 0.3

Example: Bayo had 202 in Jamb and his O level goes thus. Mth-B3, chm-C4, bio-B2, eng-C5, phy-C6, eco-B3, geo-A1 and had 58% in the post utme. To calculate his composite, this' how it's done.

Jamb score divided by 8 i.e 202/8=25.25

For the O level, only 5 subjects (mth, eng, chm, bio, and phy) are needed.

mth-b3-4points
Eng-C5-2point
Chm-C4-3points
Bio-B2-5points
Phy-C6-1point
Total gross points for O level= 4+2+3+5+1=15. This score is then multiplied by 2/3 i.e 15 x 2/3=10.

His post utme score is multiplied by 0.3 I.e 58 x 0.3=17.4

Therefore, Bayo's composite is the sum of these 3 scores I.e jamb+O'level+post utme. That is 25.25+10+17.4=52.65

Hence, Bayo's composite is 52.65

Osumare2013: Ur name is not with Funaab yet. As at now, funaab doesn't know those who picked dem and those who didn't. Not until Jamb forwards d list of candidated dat applied for funaab to dem. And dat'll happen only after jamb of institution/course has closed.
And d list is submitted in a single part, not discriminating those dat picked funaab frm registration tym and those that changed to funaab after jamb results.

The summary of my story is, YES funaab accepts change of institution.
The utme combination for maths is eng,phy.mth,chm while dat of chemistry is eng,chm, phy, mth or bio. And d waec combination of both course is mth,eng,phy,chm,bio.
