Why can't this coach use a different defender, is it until Maguire has injury before he does the needful. |

BascoVanVeli: Questions. If say we had a match in 2 weeks would you have Iheanacho on the list. Has he done enough for us to say he has broken back into the team? He should surely be picked. he has been playing regularly and he has always perform for the national team. |

The funny thing here is that I have seen you criticizing Ole on these board one too many times so, why do you jump on the chance to troll a manager ahead of Ole on the league table for drawing Arsenal that we could only get a point off after 2 games? Pick a struggle, are you satisfied with Ole? Yes or No? Because this shifting cultivation you're practicing looks like a ploy to dodge a potential L whenever it comes. Man utd squad is younger than that Chelsea squad |

DeadPresidents: That league na real dodoyo league.
I've seen better defending in the Allsvenskan league. Yet, before his entrance they were losing 3-1. The boy deserve all the praise, how many players has score an hat trick after coming on as a sub in the Bundesliga. Haaland is a top striker. Whether, he will be successful in Germany, will be determine by time or in another league can only be known when he play in the league. We should stop all this nonsense about England superior defence, which team did Kevin de Bryne, Aguero comes from. |

BascoVanVeli: Nigerians just like drama. If I am Oshoala I would get on with it. When our coach and captain voted for a foreigner nobody complained because it was FIFA and God forbid she compete for that award. If coach and captain didn't vote for her what are we really talking about? What Drama!!! Even C. Ronaldo and Messi won't be happy with this shit. They will have retired with immediate effect since the national team didn't appreciate them. Coach and Captain can easily vote for other nationals when none of their country man is among the top nominees that is a total different thing. |

Koboko99: The Nigerian representatives and how they voted.
NFF technical committee didn't vote for her, the same technical committee they want Rohr to report to.
Perpetual Nkwocha voted her as 5th.
Its a shame we don't appreciate what we have. This is really sympathetic, even if she was the worse player of the year, The NFF technical team representative slack big time in not voting for her as he was representing the country not himself. Yet, they will expect those foreign born players to change allegiance to Nigeria, It is only an over patriotic Nigeria that will change his or her allegiance to Nigeria when their is high chance of them starting in other national team. |

patrickmuf: Talking about dominance, I'll like you to frankly tell me if the current City or Liverpool or any other team is as good as the Manchester United team that had the likes of Giggs, Scholes, Nistelrooy, Beckham, Ferdinand at one point or the team that had Vidic, Ferdinand, Evra, Ronaldo, Tevez, Rooney, Berbatov, Scholes, Giggs, Nani or the Chelsea team that had Drogba, Lampard, Makelele, Ballack, Carvalho, Terry, Cole, Belleti, Deco, Robben, Duff etc or the Arsenal team that had Veira, Henry, Petit, Bergkamp, Kanu, Parlour, Pires etc? If you like, do a player for player comparison and you'll see that the quality of players Arsenal and Chelsea had meant it was even more difficult for Manchester United back then... This man city has more creativity than all this team, you mention Ferdinand, Beckham and Nistelrooy together, how many season did they play together. Also the chelsea team, you mention did not all play together. The Arsenal team you mention went on to win the league, which i don't think they are better than the current man city team in terms of creativity. |

A40: I don't understand your question. But do you know how terrible Liverpool's squad was before Klopp got there? Klopp did an excellent job by revamping the team, the team can dominate for the next two years, if their is no addition base on team synergy. Everyone know the starting 11 of liverpool which is the same as last season can this be said of any team. Man City will have to find replacement for Aguero and David Silva based on them getting old but liverpool team are intact. |

A40: Let us judge Klopp with a team where his best players cannot be poached. There's no telling how far he would have gone at Dortmund if he wasn't losing his best players every season either to us or some other European team.
After coming so close last season I never would have imagined Liverpool would be able to muster this kind of effort. 58 points from 60. And the more titles they win the stronger the mentality. You EPL people should be very afraid How many of those players they use to achieve that from defence to attack is above 29? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by BARAJ92(m): 9:12pm On Jan 04, 2020 |
patrickmuf: Chamberlain was a key member of Liverpool's when they reached the UCL final 2 seasons ago, he was injured for a year and nobody complained. Fabinho is just as important for Liverpool as Laporte is for City. Overall, Liverpool have had to deal with more injuries to their first team squad but nobody is using it as an excuse. You will admit that Van dijk is a key player in that defence without him that defence will collapse. Forget about fabinho, they have other player that can cover. Man City did not have a replacement for Laporte. Regarding City winning the league when Manchester United and Arsenal were in the peak of their powers, I'd say it will be very difficult maybe a title here or there but they wouldn't dominate the league... Really, how did Mourinho dominated for double season, You should also ask yourself, will Arsenal and man Utd had dominated, if they had competed with this current liverpool and Man city squad. |

izzou: I'm not here to argue either. I've never joined the "Pep is a fraud" chants. Pep is a good coach; a very good one. But making excuses for his losses because of the absence of one or two players don't cut it.
Because one is performing better than you, doesn't mean they have it all. Liverpool have had more injuries than Man City this season. 5 of their first team squad are injured. Keita was to start yesterday. It was in the dressing room Milner came up because of injury. Yet Klopp still manages them
I'm not here to argue back and forth. Pep missed it this season. It happens. So no need to use the injury line as an excuse. Only two of their starters are injured, Fabinho and Matip, of which matip was dragging first team shirt with other defenders |

One thing I noticed on the thread is the fact that people always react in the opposite of any comment that is subjective.
Atleast, you said people should post theirs for the last decade but instead of doing that, Your list's criticism ensued It Means, we agree with other on the list except from Ighalo based on the performance of Emenike in the super Eagles |

Ighalo because in the last 10yrs we have not had a consistently performing CF since after Yakubu (2010 WC): Ike Uche, Martins, Emenike, Ighalo. Ighalo just edged them. Osimhen has not had enough games yet to be rated in that league of CFs.
