We are currently facing injury crises, Six of the first team players are injured(Martial, Pogba, Bissaka, Shaw, Lindelof and Lingard), No club can cope with this number of injuries to their key squad members.
This is not to support Ole as it is clear that he is not impacting anything to the players. Our style of players even when this regulars are in the team shows that Ole is not the man to take us forward

We need to work on our Midfield as it was very obvious, it is our weak point. We didn't play well so am not optimistic about this season as we play trash throughout the game.

I am one of those who want Pogba to be sold but to be honest, we can't sell him now as their is no replacement for him in that team. he is still one of our key player but could be very stupid at times. I pray we hold him still the end of next season when we can buy a solid midfielder. we need at least two Midfielder in that team.
The only good thing about today game is that we won and our defence has improved. Our midfield was woeful while our attackers were clueless at time and uncoordinated.

From our first game, it was crystal clear that we will struggle throughout the season unless will sought out our midfield, we need a solid holding Midfielder and two creative midfielder that can unlock defence, Man City plays with just one holding midfield player and two Attacking midfielders.

His highest output ever was in the 2003/2004 season with 14 goals+ 4 assists. He was only able to rack up such numbers only once in his playing career which proves that season was a fluke.

Not everyone will make the team and being a product of an oversea football academy doesn’t guarantee selection. The coaching crew would’ve tried hundreds of young boys in his position within the last two years. If they have boys better then him, does it make sense to select him and dump those boys?

He can go back, continue training and his development, his hard work would pay off hopefully.
The under 17 camp always attract opportunists who only want to use the FIFA tournament to project their career. Not all of these boys would make it. Some of the hyped ones would fall by the wayside while some very silent ones would blossom.

. Is it also right to refuse to choose a player based on being foreign based? am not saying the foreign based youth players to be chosen if they are not. better than those in camp.

This is the fourth Man Utd match, am watching this season and to be honest. Ole do doesn't seems to have a game plan or tactic than ruin and hit or expecting error from the opposition like that of Chelsea.
Either we sack Ole or we bring in a tactically sound assistant for him.

ON THE ISSUE OF FOREIGN-BORN NIGERIAN
Nigeria FA always wait for the player to boom before given a call up as the national team is for only those who are ready to deliver. The National team is not for try and error.

We have many Nigerian in various youth academy, just few of them fulfil their potentials even England does not just call up a player because the player has potential. The player must be seen to add value to the team or can add value to another national team, hence, the call-up either to improve their national team or stop the player from improving another national team.

Also, the foreign based players can't be blamed for choosing other national ahead of Nigeria. After reaching their potential, as they have better chance of being successful in those national team than Nigeria.

The Nigeria FA must also be very observant and persuasive when trying to lure those foreign born national to the national team. We need to be able to convince them that the future is bright for the national team.

If Fred can become better with his touches and decisions, Pogba should be moved forward. We'll be more creative and do better with our final balls. While Fred partners with Tom behind.

Anything else in that midfield will just be boring and annoying. With James speed he'll get into positions for Pogba to release.

It is disgraceful and dishearting to see few elements in this thread working so hard to bring division to current super eagles set up by labeling kids who has fundamental human rights as foreign born just because they were born and groomed abroad.

This nonsense should stop! This kids re equally Nigerians and I will even boast more Nigerian that so many of us here. This is the same nonsense that have been perceived in the nff technical committee which have slowed down the approach to get some of this kids who re good enough for our various teams.

I got an information yesterday why ebere eze's invitation to the national team have been delayed. I learnt the nff technical committee were agitating that Rohr is hell bent on infusing so many European born players to the super eagles at the expense of home grown talents and secondly that Eze is still unproven in the championship and for these reasons do not deserve a chance in the super eagles yet.

Rohr took notice of eze's qualities as a natural play maker when he trained with the team in UK few years ago and penciled him down as a possible replacement for aging John obi mikel but because of the fear of an outburst from the nff and football fans back home who will tag his team a team of 2nd Division players he had to delay the lads invite hoping he makes the leap to the epl or any top division in Europe.

Alot are happening behind the scene but Rohr have been very calm and as well handling issues professionally not to letting things out to the media.

It's high time we change this mentality of ours and accept this kids as our own notwithstanding where they were given birth in or groomed. Selection of players to our various national teams should be on an open ground where only the best will be picked to build a formidable team.

If I say France used home players to win the world cup and so Nigeria should follow suit u would say I was insane for comparing Nigeria to a country like France but here u people shamelessly bring up what is going on over there like it is a map of what we should be doing.

If we are running a no excuse policy then the coach should be equipped with the best possible options if not we should all hush up and judge the man for what his players do on the pitch and nothing else. Smalling is a decent defender but he's seriously lacking when it comes to bringing the ball out from the back. He plays well without the ball but he's a nervous wreck with the ball at his feet.

You complain that we could not string passes together to breakdown opponents. Smalling is not going to help with that. Lindelof, Maguire, Tuanzebe are our best defenders when it comes to distributing possession without putting pressure on each other. Then there's Tuanzebe who can fill in and Bailly and TFM are undergoing rehabilitation.

So, I understand why Smalling was allowed to leave and not injury prone Rojo or Jones.

Tuanzebe is not yet tried and Baily hardly play two games without injury.

Make una no vex o. I know i'm not a manager. Cant even play FM for one full season without getting bored through my ears.....but, i rather go into the season with just 2 CBs than see Jones and Smalling go another season wearing that red shirt. They are beyond useless.

Smalling might be our fittest CB but we are better off playing with 1 CB than for us to use Smalling. That guy plays like he's a red card waiting to happen. He's always one lapse in concentration, a bad tackle, or a terrible judgement away from an own goal. The guy dull. Never seen a worse, brainless defender in my life.

If you guys have forgotten or think i'm exaggerating, jump on twitter or youtube real quick and watch his clips. They've been consistent since he became a first team player.

The sooner we get rid of the chuckle brothers, the better.
As for replacements, lets hope the youngsters step up. Coz that's all we can do at this point. We are now Hope FC.

clearing deadwood without replacement is almost the same as trouble. Nothing is bad having Tuanzebe and smalling as replacement for our constant two central back. During Ferguson, we have over six central back, Vidic and Ferdinand were the mainstays while Evans O'Shea, Smalling and Jones were backup players
