How is this Liverpool midfield more creative than ours? Liverpool's strength is clearly in their front three men.

My observation:
1. Mane's drop to midfield below the half way line to initiate the most dangerous runs from midfield to attack. Something none of our forwards can do even the number 10.

2. Defenders overlap, one or two midfield players drop to central defence, mostly Milner.

If you give Liverpool three front men to United, our midfielders would be more creative.

Klopp system does not really need creative Midfielders as is style is gengen press, recovery of the ball immediately it is lost and use it wisely.

Pep has spent upto half a billion on his defence since he took over and someone has the guts to blame injuries on a Defence all because he lost one CB.
Mancity's struggle this season is all on Pep not injures.... Liverpool have had far more injuries than city but klopp knows how to manage his squad even with less resources than saint Pep

Stones and Laporte. Injury to van Dijk and henderson will weaken that Liverpool team

Injury to key players will affect any team. man city Central defenders have been injured all through the season. Simple injury to Martial disrupt man utd at the start of the season.

We won the league in 2013, 2011, 2009, 2008, 2007 and 2nd in 2010 and 2012, does that means Moyes and van gaal met a good team.


If man utd has appointed a coach like Klopp or Guardiola, they will have identify those players that are needed for their tactics to work while still maintaining a decent performance .

No one can say, if Guardiola meet a better team or not because it is subjective to personal opinion as a good team in previous seasons might be ageing while a team full of potentials like the chelsea team of Mourinho might have perform poorly in previous seasons.


Hence, Guardiola deserves the praise, he is receiving, It is not an easy thing to win the league twice with record points.

Fergusson fails in that regards in his final season while Wenger also fails in doing that.

I keep reading analysis like it was unwise that we spent 130m on the defense and it was unnecessary...I’m like seriously? Did a human just type that shit? Combo of smalling and Jones were purely atomic bombs waiting detonation in our team over the years and hell were they detonated times without number. Hell did we have problems in all departments in this team and the easiest to fix was the defense which was rightly done, next window we focus on midfield or and attack. And then comes a decent bench. A good defense starts with confidence and hell were smalling and jones lacking all that, mag and linds partnership have calmed the play down and less frantic at the back.

And for those dumb bleeps saying Bissaka is useless, damn! Never have I seen more useless football comment in my life. Stupid online loud mouths everywhere.

Smalling is not a bad defender, a good midfield always cover the error of the defence, all others point are correctly stated

These tactical formation changes are reasons why Calleja doesn't play Chuks from the start in all games. And when he is benched, he is usually introduced early in the second half almost all the time.

That means he is not the key player, no matter the formation a team plays they will always factor their key player.

In form is relative, Since the start of the season, a player with only 4 games can't be say to be in form unless he has done that consistently for at least 10 games

Statistically, Boga and Chuks are indeed at par. Boga has seen more mins than Chuks this season and they both command very similar stats as per goals involvement. But in terms of talent, I have watched Boga well enough amd followed him from his Chelsea days, Chuks trumps him talentwise.
