dedeike: This government is on performance enhancing drug. The rate at which projects are going on in every sector is very alarming . Just at a time when you feel they have disclosed all they have in offer, they just come up with new projects. The transformation agenda is really on a hyper mode. One week, one dossier of contracts and projects.
Last week, it was a plethora of projects ranging from so many highways slated for funding under SURE P to Eleven terminals and airports undergoing remodelling and reconstruction across Nigeria. Same week, Govt launched the YOUWIN 2 for another round of employment for women. Same week, Minna-Kaduna trains were back on the track transporting people. Same week, contracts were awarded for the construction of East West and Abuja-Lokoja roads. Penultimate week, new Onitsha sea ports were commissioned and oil refinery in Anambra.
Same week, govt had offset outstanding and genuine subsidy claims to oil markerters and trader companies. Same week, the ministry of information announced plans to undertake a good governance tour to meet the people and showcase ongoing projects. same week, the SWF board was finally inaugurated with distinguished technocrats at the helm to champion development on a three phase basis.
This week, it is still projects galore. Our Foriegn reserves has hit a remarkable 41 billion dollars. Our oil production has peaked 2.7 Mbpd. The government has secured a strategic loan deal with nexim bank for financing of three critical developmental projects viz Abuja railway, New airports, national Internet/ communication backbone. Etc
Now this. A significant 44 infrastructural projects in the much neglected Niger Delta region. The air can only get fresher. waoh! I like this |

What about money spend on make useless calls or buy recharge cards that adds no value to one's pocket? to me it does not make sense business wise. arbitrage: i am looking for who can regularly buy my dollars preferably that can receive and send me by bank transfer or deposit to avoid carrying physical cash and save time. But i need current buying rate and not just only selling rates given here. I can consistently do that here in PH and deposit the naira in your account |
Business › Re: Your experiences with the UBA Naira Visa Africard by barikay: 4:25pm On Sep 04, 2012 |
Logicsst: The card is good pay on all site that i have used it, but UBA charges are kill, take note that any text message sent to you cost 100naira, exchange is at black market rate and there are some charge that is not consitent when you make transfer. None of the banks branch can give you info on charges or any detail about the card, all they know is it good and the cost of the card. So any1 will to use it should always try to know the blackmarket rate of currency for which payment is to be made and make sure you have an extra 1k above the money needed. Lastly is that the speed of payment is awesome, and always keep the card safe as it pays without any secure code! Anybody that get hold of your card can use it online freely. Peace Very annoying. They should be open. Who knows? They may be selling 1$ for N182.00. Someone should call them to order |
Business › Re: Liberty Reserve/ Master Card by barikay: 2:24pm On Sep 04, 2012*. Modified: 5:24pm On Sep 04, 2012 |
arbitrage: I guess you are talking of funding your GTB Naira mastercard. If so, selll your LR funds to buyers and exchangers and they pay into your GTB account so you can use the mastercard. If it is GTB dollars mastercard you are talking about, then you may sell it to buyers who will pay you in dollars (e.g. myself) and you get paid into your GTB dom so that you can use the dollar mastercard. So I think you should clarify the master card you have that you want to fund with LR. Aside all that, there are exchangers that offer cards such that you can fund with your LR money. |
