And to add
Consistency is the key

Make it a habit to set aside something every month JUST FOR INVESTMENT

A young lady I advised years ago to be setting aside some money every month just for investment CONSISTENTLY (not you this month, skip the next two months, then half payment for the fourth month)
She is reaping the benefits

And she greets me very well anytime we get to encounter

That's just what I wanted to add @barrydiv7

When investment becomes a HABIT
It sticks with u forever
Thanks too, I appreciate

All the things we have been discussing here. Little drops of water makes the big ocean. The journey of a thousand mile starts with a step.

Don't live to impress anyone. Live below your means. Invest and have multiple streams of passive income. Avoid High Yield Investment Schemes and Ponzi schemes.

Slow and steady wins the race
Thank you sir

Information and good advice are also valuable, I was very happy when a young guy who teaches Music in a big private school on the Island and also has a music band that plays at Owambe parties on weekends.

Called to thank me concerning the advice I gave him about 8 years concerning Investments, he claimed he was affected by the pandemic no weekend shows and 30% salary was being paid but thank God for his portfolio Investments that gave him coupons and dividend payments of over 900k between April and June 2020

Please do share with us the same advice you shared with him or better still any advice for upcoming investors with small funds like us. We learn everyday. Thanks

You will tick dividend reinvestment while filling the form.

If you didn't do that, get across to your account officer or the customer service representatives on how to go about it
OK thanks

You're on the right part. But don't put all your eggs in one basket when you reach your target of 50m for FGN Bonds. Diversify your dividends to high yield savings, mmf, land banking and Ntb if possible.
pls can you help me with a thread where i can read about mmf? thanks

Hmm. Are you sure this is the best time to invest in TB?

I invested in February for 182. And by the time the investment matures in August, the capital would have lost enough value.

How much did I gain from such a pointless endeavor? A paltry 57k on an investment of "three point something million."
pls what rate did u get in February then?
