When talking about cold in Canada, people in toronto should go and boil beans and sleep .
Manitoba(winnipeg/brandon) we decend to a low of -53degree celcius. This year has been kind and lowest has been a real feel of -45.

My point is that people still dey here. Them never pack go back to naija so leave that matter. Dress warm and in lots of layers and you would be fine.

So this was not an updated statement, just the exact dates u submitted? I thought someone said on this forum that the bank gives updated statements to the embassy? Maybe they dont, based in yr experience?

It is normal for CIC to do a background check after passport request, so nothing to worry about (if your bank statement and other submitted documents are okay). They will surely send your stamped passport to you soon.

Abi you should say you need you Visa on Your passport, did you use a forged Statement or something is fishy?

I used all d documents to even apply for UK tourist visa
And I got it

Mine was easy because my son is British, baby daddy is British, My son’s paternal family all live in the uk, I have to take him to go visit his father, grandparents and also for medical so I have a solid reason to always travel to the United Kingdom. If you have family members in the uk, you can say you would love to visit them twice a year but if you don’t have anyone in the uk, I really don’t know how that works.

I was given a 5years visa after a 6months visa. If he can prove that he’ll be traveling frequently, he’ll be given.

I also know more than 3 people that have gotten 5 years after the initial 6 months and 2 other people that also got 2 years in their first visa application with virgin passport too. The guy is just misleading people by saying what he doesn't know and I have decided not to respond to him.

I will share his timeline. His own was fairly easy cos it is a spouse work permit.
Submitted application November 2019, medicals was first week in December, and passport request 2 weeks ago.
