Justwise ,Please sometime last year,l saw this advert here on nairaland with a link to this website https://www.startupvisasandpr.com/ offering immigration assistant but it a scam.and nairaland should be careful about taking advert from people without proper verification to preserve the integrity of nairaland and not taken over by scammer taking advantage of the advert section based on trust of the website .

I got my refusal letter today because I submitted my admission letter with the evidences, Russia gives 3months visa from Nigeria which is then renewed in Russia and it was renewed but I didn’t point it out in my letter, I am about to try again but with my renewal letter, a copy of my renewed visa and a letter explaining how it’s done. I still have till October 10 and another priority should be out before then. My gurus in the house, what do you think??

you can apply again in Nigeria and show proof that you are bonafide student in Russia on a degree or master program not just language course ...the letter issued by your school (справка) should have contain this details of your program and prospect year of completion ...i have a brother that study in Russia and apply for ukvisa in Russia but was refuse and got same visa when he visited Nigeria last year....with parent as sponsor and letter from school showing is year of completion..Many beautiful girls in Russia but the weather is extreme cold in winter=)

You can only renew ur childs passport in Nigeria... Passport cannot be issued for the firt time to a minor in Nigeria, I had a friend who experienced this in 2015... Just to be sure check the Embassy website for Nigeria and see what they say...

usa passport can be issued for first time in Nigeria or anywhere usa embassy is located so far you have all the required document....my step brother got his usa passport issued

I am kinda confuse on when the embassy might open. During a nap yesterday, I saw a dream in which a large plane landed in a US airport. Then I saw buildings with a lot of students who look as though they are in new environment. I am the type who see things before they happen (though not always). I find it difficult to interpret this particular dream, so I will suggest to you and other students reading this, the embassy may open its door in a twinkling of an eye, with fast-processing visa procedures...and there may be fall resumption. Likely!
Just prepare yourself as though the embassy will open first week of July. But if they don't, you don't lose anything!

This is a bad dream ..this dream means setback and if the student you see do not put extra strength ,work harder to achieve their goals and pray ...they may not achieve the desire result to get to usa ...that meaning of your dream .. I wish everybody the best.

Embassy looks at a lot of factors including age. If one is really lucky, then they will grant the person regardless of age.

I was denied Hungarian visa last yr because I applied for BSC at 30. The consular officer told me my age was the reason for denial.

Early December, the application date was due Dec, 8 but they rejected my admission cos I didn’t pay application fee before then.

Well other schools I’ve previously applied to normally send receipt for payment of application fee, but they didn’t send me any because according to them, payment details was written on their site.

So if you intend to apply, just pay application fee immediately after submitting your application and prepare for a Skype interview too.

Normally, you wouldn't need anything else if they don't ask you for it before issuing your CAS. It will be stated on your CAS that your English skills have been assessed by them in which case, you'd only need to include your certificate in your visa application documents.

PS: Do you hold citizenship of an English-speaking country as listed by UKVI? Was the language of instruction indicated on your undergraduate certificate? Is your MSc admission offer conditional or unconditional? How did the school assess your English skills for this admission offer? What UK school granted you the admission and for which course? Did you at any point complete any course in the UK or any other English speaking country? And did you provide this evidence to the school? Will you be taking a pre-sessional English course at the UK school?

Hope you don't find my questions intrusive. I am asking because Ghana, like Nigeria, is not on the UKVI list of English speaking countries and this has led schools to ask for proof of English skills.

Your school must have asked you to provide proof of English language skills (WAEC, IELTS, Letter from your previous institution certifying that your previous study was delivered in English, Certificate:- if you've previously completed a course in the UK) before giving you unconditional admission.
Whatever document you submitted to your school to prove your English language skills should be included in your visa application submission to avoid stories that touch.
