Every single adult has had a crush while growing up, so if you have a crush or you had one before there is nothing to be ashamed of, I had crushes too when I was a teenager, from a cute Indian actor(vikem of sunita) to one fine looking guy back then in high school,(smiles).he never knew!! Some crushes die naturally without much trouble, while others could linger on and become overwhelming. This is why you need to be armed with the right information to help you recognize and deal with it . A lot of teenagers have been swept away by crushes and have ended up with so many regrets. Experts say it takes about 4months, for a crush to die, sadly the aftermath of some crushes end with a baby, an abortion or a dented reputation. so what is a crush… A crush can also be called infatuation, and it’s defined as a brief but intense feeling or a state of being carried away by unreasoning passion for someone, especially someone unattainable. As teenagers, it is quite natural to be attracted, drawn, to admire, or to be fond of an opposite sex. It actually a sign that you are growing emotionally and socially, however this powerful but real feelings has to be handled properly so as to reduce the overwhelming mental, emotional effect and regrettable mistakes it tends to bring. To help us understand better, I have classified crushes into different types Crush on a celebrity, a star icon- you don’t really know them, you just tripping from a far,as such there is a degree to how it really disturbs you emotionally. Just by entering into a teenager’s room, you could almost tell what and who he or she is fond of, by the posters on the wall, the type of song on his or her phone or ipads, the dressing style, hair style or cut, mannerism, etc Crush on someone known but way out of your league , like a big sister/ brother figure, your school teacher, your sister’s husband, your Pastor, a nice married man/married woman in church or in the neighbourhood, a blood relative…Because these set of people are most time symbols of respect, protection, care and authority it very easy for an innocent admiration of them to gradually lead to a crush, This category of crush is more dangerous because this people here are accessible and known to you, they are also much older and experience, some of them could take advantage of your naiveness, hence you make decisions base on a crush(rush), and you are left to face the consequences long after the crush has faded. Crush on someone known but within your reach- like your classmate, school mates, Church member, family friend. Etc. This type is very common among pre-teens and younger teens, It could also be dangerous when not managed well by the adolescent. crush on a total stranger- or somebody you may or may not have had any conversation with, or someone you may or may not have seen. For instance via Facebook, twitter, installation. etc. This type is almost similar to the crush on a celebrity, only that this person isn’t a star or a icon, what makes this type particularly dangerous for teenagers, is security of life and properties it threatens. Many teenagers have invited strangers to there homes or have agreed to meet up with a Facebook friend somewhere and never lived to tell their stories, all because they thought they where in love. HOW DO I KNOW IT’S A CRUSH 1. It thinks only about self and not others 2. It is blind to reality, very unreasonable and irrational 3. You break rules and deep personal values to satisfy it 4. It is breaks up at any slightest irritation 5. It’s based on feelings 6. It wants sex now 7. It’s attracted to the container, and not the content. Ie,the looks, the charisma not character, emphasises on beauty. 8. A shallow knowledge about the person, or a vague idea of the persons weakness and strength, i.e, you don’t know the person real name, yet you claim you are in love 9. Attracted to more than just one person 10. Can’t eat or sleep, persistent thought about the person, fantasy like thought 11. Makes you overly possessive, obesesive, in secured and over jealous 12. It doesn’t last, makes you sick and desperate 13. Sometimes thrives in secrecy and dominated by anxiety, fear, insecurity, and uncertainty 14. All about flattery, lies and insincerity 15. its fades with time, How to handle crush First you must know what love is, when you know the original, you can easy detect a counterfeit So what is love? 1. Love is patient 2. Love is kind 3. Love is not boastful 4. Love is not proud 5. Love does not envy 6. Love is not self seeking 7. Love is not easy angered 8. Loves does not keep records of wrong doing 9. Loves endures all things 10. Love sees the best in everyone 11. True love wait 12. You don’t fall in love, you grow in love 13. Love is not a feeling, it is a decision 14. Love doesn’t lie So when you think that you actually in love with that guy or attracted to that girl, cross check with the above list…. Love is patient, if this guy really loves me he would be patient, and if I love him I would be patient enough to finish up my studies and wait till the right time…. If he keep pressurising me to go out with him, or have sex with him then he isn’t being patient, therefore he isn’t expressing love but mere crush… which wouldn’t last and I would be left heart broken. Prioritize your interest . What is of importance to you now, arrange them in order of priority. And stick to it, no matter what. Rehearse it on your head. I remember writing it somewhere in my diary when I was a teenager.”I have no time for boys now’, it really helped me to remain focused. What are your dreams?. Let that be your mental image. What do you see yourself becoming in the next 3to 5years?..when you meditate on that often, it’s will become part of you, you will be to busy mentally pursuing after your dream. distract your crush feeling with something else, instead of taking time thinking of a particular person, get involve with social and religious activities. train your mind to think of new ways to improve yourself, mentally ,academically, spiritually. don’t be idle ,engage your mind. Ask your self some sincere questions ,What do I like about this person in question, apart from his gifts and her pretty body? most time our reasons are so shallow. when you get to observe your crush real character you might be become disinterested in him or her very soon. So give it time before rushing into a relationship with a crush.Time is the acid test that really differentiate infatuation from real love. Don’t hang out alone with someone you are crushing over, have other friends, as you begin to relate with others you find out that this person isn’t all that, premature intimacy is dangerous Talk it out , find somebody, a trusted adult, your parent(if you are close to them) about how you feel, they have been there before. Every adult has been through a crush before.. So you haven’t sin by crushing over a person. You just need to align your thought properly so you won’t be distracted, with the right help and time the crush feeling will wane off. Parents please don’t dismiss, ignore, criticize or embarrass your teen when you notice they are having a crush. If you have been directly confided in by your teen, see it has an opportunity to bring them closer, reinforce good values in them, and provide the adequate emotional support for them as they grow, share your personal stories with them, they most time come to their senses with less mistakes. if you succeed in this aspect, your teen will find you approachable always, rather than hiding secrets from you. Tell God. Pray about it. As simple as it sounds, it works. God is love he created you and your emotions and he knows how you feel. Somehow, he will help you figure out a way. As I conclude, i would like to share a short story of a teenager like you, she started dating her boyfriend because she felt they where in love, they did lots of stupid things together, after 4months,she said they got bored of each other, and decided to break up. she discovered that her boyfriend wasn’t as good looking as she thought, in fact she said he was the ugliest guy she has ever seen, that feeling was mutual, because her boy friend after the breakup, told all his friends how awful and dirty she was. This news broke her down, she couldn’t believe her boyfriend would ever betray her like that, guess what happened next…………to be continued next month… |
Ever wonder why some students read very hard every semester but surprisingly fail their exams at the end of it all? Such students read almost every day and night and are perceived by their mates as hardworking students who deserve to succeed academically; however, their poor grades keep surprising them and everyone else. If you study hard and your grades seem not to reflect your hard work, then its time you stop working hard and start working smart. Here are some reasons why some students study hard but fail. 1. Upholding hard work while neglecting smart work Hard work is good but hard work when done smartly is far better and produces greater result. Hard work starts with reading and ends with more reading. Students who uphold hard work while neglecting smart work believe they must read every note, text-book, handout and all materials they can get to be able to pass. On the other hand, smart work involves reading and settling back to self-examine whether what is being read is really required for passing exams. Students who seem to read less but still perform excellently well have been able to combine smart work and hard work. They are able to smartly figure out what they need to read to pass. They know they don’t have to read all the textbooks in the library to be able perform well. 2. Not knowing when it’s enough Studying saps energy. When you become tired while reading it is important you take a break, take a walk or go watch TV before returning to your books. Most students read hard and fail because they stay glued to their books even when they’re exhausted and need rest. In such condition everything they’ll be reading stops making sense but they continue nonetheless. 3. Having difficulty prioritizing what’s important Not all courses or subjects are read the same. Seemingly difficult subjects or courses should be given higher priority. Also, courses that are prerequisites are more important than electives and thus must be given more priority as we study. 4. Focusing on “I don’t want to fail” instead of “I want to pass” This is a mind game. Winners always focus their minds on winning. From personal experience, I see that most students who read more than others but still fail do their read out of fear. They afraid of failing hence they often say things like: “I don’t want to fail”. Fear is their motivation. The solution to is to focus our minds on “I want to pass” so I’ll read. 5. Putting their books first and themselves second They read all day and night while they forget about the need to take care of themselves. Haven’t you seen those who read from the first day of resumption to the last week of lectures only to fall sick in the week of exams? They stress and wear themselves out. 6. They read all the time instead of at ‘their right time’ There is often the ‘right time’ to read for every student. This is often the time of the day when you are able to grasp and understand more as you read. For some their right time to read is at night. Students who read hard and still fail read at all times even when it’s not necessary. At the end of the day, they are perceived to be serious and hardworking students but they have no results to show for their labour. If this issue affects you I hope this write- up helps you to understand how you ought to adjust. Are there more reasons why some hardworking students fail despite their rigorous studies? Tell us about it. |
Once a group of 500 people were attending a seminar. Suddenly the speaker stopped and decided to do a group activity. He started giving each person a balloon. Each person was then asked to write their name on it using a marker pen. Then all the balloons were collected and put in another room. The people were then let into that room and asked to find the balloon which had their name written on it within 5 minutes. Everyone was frantically searching for their name, colliding with each other, pushing around others and there was utter chaos. At the end of 5 minutes no one could find their own balloon. Then, the speaker asked each person to randomly collect a balloon and give it to the person whose name was written on it. Within minutes everyone had their own balloon. The speaker then began, "This is happening in our lives. Everyone is frantically looking for happiness all around, not knowing where it is. Our happiness lies in the happiness of other people. Give them their happiness; you will get your own happiness. And this is the purpose of human life...the pursuit of happiness." |

Everything that God made valuable in this world is well covered and hardly to see, find or get. 1. Where do you find diamonds? Deep down in the ground, covered and protected. 2. Where do you find pearls? Deep down at the bottom of the ocean, covered up and protected in a beautiful shell. 3. Where do you find gold? Way down in the mine, covered over with layers of rock and to get them, you have to work hard & dig deep down to get them; "Your body is sacred & unique" You are far more precious than gold, diamonds and pearls, and you should be covered too." if you keep your treasured mineral just like gold, diamond and pearls, deeply covered up, a reputable mining organization with the requisite machinery will fly down and conduct years of extensive exploration. First, they will contact your government (your family), sign professional contracts (wedding) and mine you professionally (legal marriage). But if you leave your precious minerals uncovered on the surface of the earth, you will attract a lot of illegal miners to come and mine you illegally. Everybody will just pick up their crude instruments and just have a dig on you. Keep your bodies deeply covered so that you only invite professional miners to chase you. Your body is so precious that is why God call it HIS Temple. Please add value to your life. |

A gigantic test of wills is rocking the All Progressives Congress just 12 days to the inauguration of President-elect Mohammadu Buhari as Nigeria’s substantive President. Impeccable sources within the party told SUNDAY PUNCH over the weekend that some ex-governors, Buhari’s associates and mutinous party members from the South-West are trying to whittle down the influence that the national leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, will have on the incoming government. Tinubu, the party’s undisputed leader in the South-West, is widely feted as the force behind the merger of all the major opposition parties in the country which led to the emergence of the APC as Nigeria’s major opposition party. On several occasions, Buhari, who defeated President Goodluck Jonathan in the March 28 presidential elections, winning 15,424,921 votes to Jonathan’s 12 853,162 votes, has also acknowledged the efforts of the former governor of Lagos State, fondly referred to as Jagaban by his admirers. However, multiple sources within the party told SUNDAY PUNCH that the relationship between the duo might have become strained in recent times as some forces within the party are bent on making Buhari to see Tinubu in another light. Some powerbrokers within the party, some of whom are trusted by the president-elect, are said to be mounting pressure on him to reassess his ties with the APC national leader. These powerbrokers are also said to be questioning Tinubu’s and the South West’s contributions to Buhari’s election victory. Recently, at a public function, the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwanu Akiolu, gave indications of the strained relationship between the duo, even as he asked people to pray that Tinubu’s “labour” would not be wasted. “All Lagos residents should pray that the labour of Tinubu should not be in vain. A lot of things have been happening now. Some people have been telling Buhari all sorts of things. Awujale (Paramount Ruler of Ijebuland) and I have decided to meet Buhari because Lagos and South West states must benefit from the General Buhari administration,” he said. Reliable sources within the party however told our correspondent that the gang up against the party leader started before the party’s victory at the elections. One of the sources, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, told SUNDAY PUNCH that those opposed to Tinubu within the party first moved against the national leader during the APC’s national convention in June last year. According to him, some ex-governors and other high-ranking members of the party backed a former governor of Bayelsa State, Timipre Sylva, against Tinubu’s candidate, Chief John Odigie- Oyegun. The source, who is an associate of the national leader, said, “Even before Buhari emerged as the party’s presidential candidate, some people in the party, particularly the governors and some ex-governors, wanted another candidate as chairman. They were totally opposed to Odigie- Oyegun who was Tinubu’s choice. They believed that if they succeeded in getting their man as the chairman, they would have more control of the party, but they failed.” The source added that the same scenario played out during the party’s presidential primaries. “It is not a secret: initially, the same group of people in the APC were totally opposed to Asiwaju’s choice of Buhari. They wanted either former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar or Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano State. When you look at it critically, their choice of these candidates then was not based on any fundamental reason but just to oppose Tinubu and gain more ground in the party. It is funny that some of them who now move around with Buhari were totally against his candidature as APC’s flag bearer,” he said. But the source ended his chat with our correspondent by saying, “We are optimistic that Buhari and Tinubu will manage their relationship well. They will not allow anyone to come between them.” Another source within the party cited an incident during Buhari’s February Chatham House event in London as an example of the high level intra-party politics playing out within the party. The source said both camps jostled to take the credit for producing the speech delivered by Buhari at Chatham House knowing that the speech would give the then APC presidential candidate a huge mileage within the international community. The source said just before the event, a senior party member who is also a former governor of a South-West state, had rushed in to write the President-elect’s speech. The said ex-governor also presented the speech to the president- elect. He said, “Not knowing that a speech had been prepared, the national leader asked if Buhari’s speech was ready. He was told that the ex- governor had written it and given it to Buhari. Tinubu was not happy because he knew nothing about the speech despite being one of the party’s top strategists. He asked that the speech be sent to him as a condition for him to attend the event. When he eventually got it, he turned it down because he felt the speech did not represent Buhari’s and the APC’s ideals properly. “He then asked a team of experts to write another speech for Buhari. Asiwaju had to explain to Buhari why he felt the initial speech written by the former governor was not good enough.” Asked why some of the party leaders appeared to be vehemently opposed to Tinubu, the source said, “Most of the people that have a grouse with our national leader believe he is too controlling and he’s not allowing them have a say. But they can express their grievances through better ways,” he said. But as the inauguration day draws near, sources say the selection of ministers and top government officials for the new government is the newest phase of the battle of influence that is rocking the party. The source said, “The battle has now shifted to the selection of Buhari’s new cabinet. Many of those opposed to Tinubu in the party have presented themselves and others as candidates. (Some of these people are from the South- West). “There is another sub-group made up of northerners, mostly, Fulanis. They have been touting themselves as Buhari’s closest associates since he won the elections. We’ve heard them say that the North was the dominant factor in Buhari’s win and that even though the South-West voted for him, the North donated the majority votes. “But they are making a mistake because if President Jonathan had won all the South-West states, Buhari’s victory would have been hard to come by. They also forget that it was on the platform of the APC that Buhari emerged President. If not for the merger, Buhari wouldn’t have won. He tried to win on the platform of the CPC in 2011, but it wasn’t successful. “Having seen that their tactics of spreading bad rumours about Tinubu to Buhari is not working, they are now playing the ethnic card to divide them. Sadly, some of our ex-governors from the South-West and South-South have joined them to play this ethnic card.” When asked how the national leader of the party was fighting back, another highly-placed source within the party said Nigerians should wait for the list of ministers. “We are not in government yet but some people are making trouble underground. Anyway, the ministerial list will put them in check. They are following Buhari all over the place and trying to cause disaffection between him and Tinubu but it will yield nothing. Unfortunately for them, Buhari is not likely to have ministers of states so it narrows their chances of getting appointments. Some of our party members particularly from the South-West are in for a surprise when the ministerial list is out.” Contacted on Saturday, a former National Publicity Secretary of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change, one of the parties that formed the APC, Mr. Rotimi Fashakin, said Tinubu was bound to have opposition from within the party due to his political influence. He reminded those who were challenging his authority in the party that the former Governor of Lagos State was one of the arrowheads of APC’s formation and the party’s victory at the 2015 general election. Fashakin said, “In any gathering of human beings, you are bound to have people showing disapproval and disaffection about others; that is normal. The APC is not an exception. It is usually like that. Some people will say ‘what is his own? He is having too much influence. Is it only him?” He, however, asked those who were opposed to Tinubu to consider the positive roles he had played in the party. “During the electioneering, the PDP knew the people that were strategic to its electoral misfortune and the need to go after such individuals. One of them was Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Did you see the hate documentary that was produced and aired to disparage him at that time? “The individuals talking now (against Tinubu) were not put under such scurrilous attacks. Did they experience such? Whatever they may say, when the history of APC is written, you cannot wish away what Tinubu has done,” Fashakin added. A former Minister of Petroleum and Energy, Professor Tam David-West, one of Buhari’s biggest loyalists, also told SUNDAY PUNCH that there was nobody in the APC, no matter how influential he might be, that could influence the incoming President’s decisions. He said, I don’t want to comment on it because I know it is not possible. Nobody can influence General Buhari. I know him.” When contacted, the Director of Media and Publicity in the APC Presidential Campaign Organisation, Mr. Garba Shehu, described the moves by the individuals as a party issue. “It is a party issue, speak to Lai Mohammmed,” he said. The National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Mr. Lai Mohamed did not pick the calls made to his phone neither did he respond to the text messages sent to him by our correspondent. Copyright PUNCH. |

A NEW mum has given birth to twins – who have two different fathers. The incredible case was revealed after the woman, identified only as T.M., named her current boyfriend as the father of her twins. But T.M. admitted before maternity papers were signed that she had actually slept with a different man a week after she believed she conceived with her boyfriend. A paternity test was carried out and it was revealed that the two men had each fathered one of the twins, who are now toddlers. Now the woman’s original partner only has to pay out child support for one of the children. Passaic County Judge Sohail Mohammad made the ruling in the paternity case on Monday, the New Jersey Law Journal reported. Paternity tests showed the woman’s former boyfriend was almost certainly the father of one twin – but wasn’t the father of the other. Now he only has to pay out $28 – around £18 – per week for his daughter. Judge Mohammad said he found just two other court cases of a woman giving birth to twins from separate dads, which occurs in one out of every 13,000 reported paternity cases involving twins. It seems medically impossible, but a woman can give birth to twins with two fathers when she has sex with two different men in the same week. In a process known as heteropaternal superfecundation, the rare incident occurs when a woman releases two eggs during her menstrual cycle and different men fertilise one egg each. It is a more common occurrence when the same dad fertilises two eggs during separate incidences of sex. Amazingly, it is also possible for a woman to give birth to twins who have been conceived weeks or even months apart, if she continues to ovulate even after she has become pregnant, in a process called superfetation. It is claimed that superfetation is common in some species of animals, but is extremely rare in humans. In 2009, Todd and Julia Grovenburg of Fort Smith, Arkansas, conceived an additional child while already pregnant with a baby conceived two and a half weeks earlier. Both healthy babies were delivered through Caesarean section on December 2, 2009, when Julia, 33, became one of only 11 women ever reported to conceive while already pregnant. “It’s common knowledge and written down in medical books that you can’t get pregnant while already pregnant,” Julia said. “But somehow, after years of trying to conceive, I became the exception to the rule – getting pregnant twice in two weeks.” |

In 6 Months, Nigerians May Stone Buhari Apostle Suleiman in the interview with Punch newspaper, made a disturbing statement concerning the president elect, Muhammad Buhari. Hear him. “Let me say this to you. In the next six months, people may stone Buhari. The reason I’m saying this is because the expectation is too high. Nigerians expect Buhari to put gold on their tables. Two, the large chunk of followership Buhari has are youths and young people and they are impatient. Young people don’t believe in progressive change, they want change. When they say change, they see a new picture. And Buhari has been talking from the two sides of the mouth. During campaign, he told us Boko Haram would be a thing of the past. Now, you are President-elect, you are saying people shouldn’t expect a miracle. Are you a pastor? If I wanted a miracle worker, won’t I bring a Mallam or a miracle worker? When you were being voted for, we were not voting for a pastor, so don’t tell us about miracles. Like I said, Jonathan will be seen as a hero very soon because that’s the Nigerian story. Anybody who they feel is not doing well, get him out. The next few minutes, they miss this person. If by September, there is still a blink in power, people will start abusing Buhari. You said you were going to do this. Two, who are Buhari’s footmen, the large chunk are ex-PDP people and of course you know, many are still defecting. Nigerian politicians are the most shameless people (I know); they can’t bear hunger. They are defecting now to lobby for offices. If you should check the people around the man, it gives you an idea of where the man is heading. If you check the agenda, listen to their campaign, it wasn’t about issues, it was about personality. Change this man! And I wanted us to talk about what the issues are, brainstorm to make things better. I heard he had a five-hour meeting behind closed doors with President Jonathan. He has now seen the reality of how deep the issues are and it has now dawned on him that the man sitting there was actually managing to survive. That is one thing about leadership. When the ball is passed to you, you realise it’s deeper than you think. So I do not see change in Nigeria. The only change I see is we have a breath of fresh air, a new government. To say there will be instant change in Nigeria, I doubt. We are praying as Christians and believers. It doesn’t matter what the enemy is trying to do in Nigeria, as believers, we know that the will of God will be done.”he stated. |

Public speaking is a skill that every entrepreneur must master. If giving a speech fills you with fear it can be hard to represent your business well. Fortunately, Richard Branson has some advice… It might come as a surprise that the Virgin Founder is not a fan of public speaking. “I loathe making speeches, and always have,” he admits in a recent entrepreneur.com blog. “I deliver a lot of them these days, but it’s almost as true today as it was when I first spoke in public as a student some 50- odd years ago. “Back then, my school was having a contest in which we had to memorize a short speech and present it to the other students. If we stumbled at any point, we were “gonged,” which ended the speech. I remember being scared half to death when my turn came and I had to stand in front of my classmates; I still break out in a cold sweat just thinking back to the excruciating experience. But it’s not just the nerves that affect him, the Virgin Group founder says that he’s never particularly enjoyed public speaking. “As is the case with everything else that I haven’t particularly enjoyed doing, for a long time I didn’t do it terrible well,” he admits. “Over the years, however, I have become much more practiced at giving speeches, though it still makes me a bit nervous.” Fortunately, Branson has picked up some advice and inspiration from brilliant writers and public speakers. Here’s what he has learnt… Use your imagination The late Gavin Maxwell, the author of “Ring of Bright Water” and other novels, once gave me some wonderfully helpful advice on speechmaking. His technique requires practice, but it can be effective. Here it is: When you need to speak in front of a crowd, close your mind to the fact that you’re on a stage with hundreds of people watching you and instead imagine yourself in a situation where you’d be comfortable speaking to a group. For example, imagine that you’re in your dining room at home, telling a story to friends over dinner. I know it sounds a little corny, but try it. This trick has certainly removed some of the anxiety for me. Practise, practise, practise I am a huge fan of Winston Churchill, who is universally recognized as one of the greatest orators of all time. However, Churchill only achieved this status after a lot of hard work. The former British prime minister claimed in his memoirs that he averaged an hour’s preparation for every minute of a speech. Like Churchill, I found that if you practise, practise, practise, then practise some more, that will gradually mitigate the fear of public speaking, no matter how debilitating. Repeat the speech until you are even hearing the phrases in your dreams, and it will be much easier to deliver. Churchill also once said: “A good speech should be like a woman’s skirt: long enough to cover the subject and short enough to create interest.” Take this advice to heart. Even highly gifted speakers like Churchill would never ask an audience to listen for more than 25 minutes or so. Extending a presentation beyond half an hour will stretch any group’s attention span. Prepare Mark Twain, who along with Ernest Hemingway is one of my favorite American authors, was also a highly acclaimed public speaker and, like Churchill, enjoyed speaking about speaking. Twain was aware of the common misperception that in order to be a great speechmaker, one must be good at speaking off the cuff. Twain addressed this in 1899 when, speaking at a dinner given in his honor at London’s Whitefriars Club, he said: “Impromptu speaking – that is a difficult thing . I used to begin about a week ahead, and write out my impromptu speech and get it by heart.” Another piece of astute advice from Twain, which I have mentioned before, makes me feel a lot better about my own qualms. He once insisted that “there are only two types of speakers in the world: 1. The nervous. 2. Liars.” So if you’re nervous, you’re in good company. |
I earlier shared the picture of Captain Oni who died on Sunday while defending gallantly the city Of Maduguiri from falling into the hands of Boko Haram The idiots were repelled, unfortunately Captain Oni did not make it He paid the supreme price so that me and you can sleep and snore I was told by those who knew him that he just got married and left behind, a pretty woman who was his wife and a beautiful daughter who will never see him again OMG! This is so sad and heart wrenching Captian Oni's death is one of the compelling reasons we need to support our Military as they battle to finally put an end to the Boko Haram Narrative When future generations and our unborn children ask what kind of men and women these soldiers who have died in the North East were, who gave so much of their lives to the service of the people of Nigeria and , we will be able to boldly say how special they were, to put their own lives at risk for such a noble mission of building peace in Nigeria May the blood of Captain Oni and other unknown heroic soldier that has been shed so untimely, contribute to the building of lasting peace to the people of North East And Nigeria in General .
