PoliticsPresident Buhari Explains How The N5000 Stipend Will Be Distributed by BASD(op): 11:32am On Dec 29, 2015
President Muhammadu Buhari has given a
detailed explanation as to how the N5000
stipend he promised during his campaign will
be distributed across the country. President
Buhari gave the full details during an
interview session with Mansur Liman of the
BBC Hausa service on Christmas eve. He
said:

“It is not possible for everyone
needing it to get it; but the
Federal Government has said it
would collaborate with the states
and local governments. At the
local government level, almost
everyone knows each other. It
would be easy to identify those to
give who would go into trading
and how to get it back. It would
be like a cooperative and we all
know how it operates. Also, state
governments would identify
those who have capacity to
employ more people and all we
need to do is to empower them.
Our people already know how to
go about implementing these
modalities to create employment
for the citizens.”

Tuesday, 29 December 2015 TOPIC; KEYS TO ACCESSING AUTHORITY SCRIPTURE: For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. – Matthew 8:9 THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To be in authority, you must know who you are. It has been confirmed that being placed in the position of authority brings favour, audience, abundance and influence. The meaning of this is: if God wants to give you favour, access, audience, abundance and influence, He places you in authority. Now, how can a man access authority? Maintain the right mentality. What mentality? It is the mentality of authority. From our anchor scripture, the centurion said, “I am a man under authority, I have soldiers under me.” This means that the centurion knew who he was; he had the right mentality about authority. Therefore, to be in authority, you must know who you are. You have to be up and doing in your assignment. You have to know who you are, where you desire to be in life and work towards it. Don’t live with a blank mind. The Bible says in Proverbs 23:7 “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…’ So, if you think like a defeated person, you are a defeated person. If you think like a person in authority, you are a person of authority. Renew and renovate your mind on a continuous basis, identifying who you are and where you know God wants you to be. Know who you are, what you want out of life, and do what it takes to achieve it. Remember this: To be in authority, you must know who you are ASSIGNMENT(S): 1. Renew your mind with the word daily. 2. Live according to the word of God and not according to the dictates of your situation 3. Live the word. FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: THE PROFITS OF AUTHORITY. "Whereas the Dasuki menopause has diaphanously made the point that the Jonathan administration elevated the dum vivimus, vivamus nectar to a nauseating and asphyxiating elastoplast,it can bear reiteration that beyond the current ballyhoo baying for a condign comeuppance, the challenge is how to ensure that each public officer is henceforth subjected to the immolatory trajectory of dulce et decorum est pro patria mori….But can we break away from the penelopic circle of flagellative rigor mortis?”
PoliticsAn Open Letter To Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike by BASD(op): 10:35am On Dec 24, 2015
FROM: OGBAKO ETCHE ACTION GROUP
TO: GOVERNOR NYESOM EZENWO WIKE

His Excellency,
Chief EzenwoNyesomWike, CON
Governor of Rivers State
Your Excellency,
OPEN LETTER TO THE EXECUTIVE GOVERNOR
OF RIVERS STATE
HIS EXCELLENCY, BARR. NYSOM EZENWO WIKE

Your Excellency, the good people of Etche
appreciates your achievements since assumption
of office as Executive Governor of Rivers State.
We the OGBAKO ETCHE ACTION GROUP write to
draw your attention to the unfair treatment of
Etche people in the scheme of affairs in Rivers
State and Nigeria at large. Etche as a distinct
ethnic nationality of Etche and Omuma local
government areas is currently in the Rivers East
Senatorial District.

Your Excellency, it will interest you to know that
since the return of democratic government in
1999, apart from the usual statutory positions of
every LGA which includes House of
Representatives, House of Assembly, Chairman
of Local Government and Commissioners, there
has not been any Etche person who has
occupied such higher positions such as the SSG,
Chief of Staff, Speaker of the House of Assembly
and other key appointments in the state. At the
federal level, Etche has been omitted from all
key positions such as Senator, Minister,
Ambassador, Presidential Advisor, DG, Permanent
Secretaries, Executive Secretaries and Chairmen
of MDG’s.

A quick enumeration here will suffice to highlight
the gross absence of Etche from high political
equation: Ijaws have produced two (civilian)
Governors, numerous ministers, Senators,
Presidential Advisers, Heads of Parastatals,
SSGs, Speakers of the Houses of Assembly,
Ambassadors, etc. Ogonis have produced many
Senators, SSGs, Ministers, Presidential Advisers,
etc. The Ndonis and Ogbas have produced a
Governor, Senators and Ministers; Ikwerres have
produced Governors, Ministers, Senators,
Speaker, Ambassadors, and Deputy Speaker of
the House of Representative etc.

In the current political dispensation, we foresee
a similar trend which is worrisome and which
Etche people cannot continue to ignore.
Etche people have contributed immensely to the
overall development of Rivers State.

For instance, during the struggle for the creation of
Rivers State, a prominent son of Etche, HRM Eze
ENB Opurum MFR fought assiduously alongside
Late Chief Harold Dappa prieye and few others
toh actualize our state creation. Etche remains
the second largest producer of oil and gas with
over 250 producing oil wells. We are third largest
Ethnic group in the state with a population of
over 1.4 million and a landmass of about 1300
square km and the second largest in the state.
Our manpower base comprises of all
professionals which includes eminent Professors,
experienced Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers,
Accountants, Managers, Politicians, etc within
the country and in Diaspora.

Your Excellency, in NDDC and Ministry of Niger
Delta which are established by law to develop oil
producing areas of which ETCHELAND is a major
contributor, no Etche indigene has EVER held any
position of Managing Director, Executive Director
and Rivers State Reps in the boards. Ironically
the roads leading to the oil producing
communities in Etche are in very serious
deplorable conditions. These roads include
Igwuruta–Chokocho-Okehi-Okpala Road,
Rumukrushi-Igbo-Umuchem-Ozuzu-Owerri Road,
Igwuruta-Umuchem-Egwi Road, Ulakwo-Odagwa-
Omuma road, Oyibo-Umuebule-Igbo road,
Umuebule internal roads, Umuanyagu-Okeroagu-
Odagwa-Akwa roads.

OUR PASSIONANTE APPEAL
Your Excellency, Etche people passionately
appeal for Government quick rehabilitation and
reconstruction of these two exit roads namely
Igwuruta-Chokocho-Okehi-Igbodo roads and
Rumukrushi-Igbo-Umuchem-Ozuzu roads to
enable our people easy access within this
yuletide season.

Your Excellency, we also appeal for your kind
consideration in the appointment of our sons and
daughters into key positions in your government
as we ask for your recommendation of our
people for federal appointments.

We also appeal that Etche should be included in
all your developmental agenda for Rivers State
especially the ongoing renovation of Government
Schools.
Please be assured of our continued support and
best wishes for your government.

Yours Truly,
HRH Eze K. O. Nwala KSC JP.

SCRIPTURE: If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? – 1 John 4:20
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The deeper you love God, the more you love other people. We serve a God of love. This is why He sent His only begotten Son to die for our sins. Jesus, our Saviour, came to this world as the response of God’s love for us. That was why He preached and healed the sick through love. The Holy Spirit is also the Spirit of love.
Today, we want to consider the necessity of love to our life and relationship with God.
a) Love for God is confirmed by our love for people, especially His people (1 John 4:12, 20).
If you are a worker in church and you hate your fellow brother or sister, then your service is aimless. This is the reason many people work in the church for many years without any positive result to show for it. A pastor, for instance, is wasting his time in ministry if he does not love his members passionately.
b) Love guarantees profitability of spiritual activity. Activity plus charity equals profitability (1 Corinthians 13:1-3) .
The degree of results you see from working for God is tied to the measure of love with which you work.
c) To walk with God, you must work in love (1 John 4:8, Amos 3:3).
The worst thing that can happen to anyone is to be working for God and not be able to walk with God. The deeper you love God, the more you love other people.
Remember this: The deeper you love God, the more you love other people.
ASSIGNMENT(S): 1. Search your heart if there is any root of bitterness in your heart towards your neighbour.
2. Reconcile with anyone you are holding grudges against.

SCRIPTURE: “…The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” – James 5:16
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Guilt separates a man from the Presence of God.
Yesterday, we established the fact that doors do not open to voice but to the right keys. We also noted that even if you are the owner of a house, the doors will not respond to your voice but to the right keys.
In the same way, prayer answers to the right keys. There are keys you have to use in order to pray effectively. Prayer becomes futile and bankrupt of results when we do not pray with the right keys.
One of the keys to effective prayer is UPRIGHTNESS OF LIFE
Now, how does uprightness affects our prayer?
1.A life of uprightness opens the door to God’s presence (Psalms 24:3-5, Isaiah 33:14-16). But guilt separates a man from God’s presence (Isaiah 59:1-2).
2.Uprightness gives us boldness and audacity before God. (Proverbs 28:1). Guilt, on the other hand, is a killer of faith.
3.Uprightness of life deprives the enemy every access and basis of resistance and accusation in our lives (Zechariah 3:1-3; John 14:30).
My counsel is: check your life now; confess every hidden sin to God in order not to be denied access to His presence.
Remember this: Guilt separates a man from the Presence of God.
ASSIGNMENT(S): 1. Avoid all forms of iniquity at all cost.
2. Avoid iniquitous associations.
PRAYER: OLORD help me to be upright in life so that I can maintain a consistent prayer life. Deliver me from every sin that easily besets me, in Jesus Name.

Saturday, 19 December 2015 TOPIC; GOD IS THINKING OF YOU SCRIPTURE: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. – Jeremiah 29:11. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Until your prayer altar is on fire, your future is not guaranteed. It is important to note from our anchor scripture that God is continually planning for His people. The clause, “I know the thought that I think…” is in a present active sense. The Bible did not say, “I know the thought that I thought about you…” This means that God is continually thinking about you. It is also important to note that the thoughts of God for you are thoughts for your welfare and success. He is permanently strategizing how you can move from where you are now to the next level. So, every satanic orchestration that has been working against you shall be dismantled by the power, agenda and thoughts of God in Jesus’ Name. How then can you benefit from the thoughts of God for your life in order to arrive at the expected end and future? 1. By living a life of prayer: A life of prayer and communion with God is the guarantee of ending where He wants you to end. Until your prayer altar is on fire, your future is not guaranteed. 2. Wholehearted search for God. This is coming to the point where there is no alternative to God in your life in any situation. Remember this: It does not matter who is thinking against you, God is thinking of you. ASSIGNMENT(S): 1. Search the Scriptures daily to know the thoughts of God concerning you. 2. Pray God’s thoughts for your life into reality. FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: THE UNEXPECTED END. PRAYER: O LORD, I know that You are thinking about me. The Day of the Exam: 15 Tips to Boost your Exam Performance Posted on May 28, 2013 by Andrea Leyden So you’ve come all the way (with the help of ExamTime!) and tomorrow is finally the moment of truth, the day of the exam . At this stage you have studied almost all that you can study to be 100% ready for the big day. You have been planning, revising and studying and so there is little more you can do, right? However hard you studied in the run up to exams, the most important work is yet to be done. Regardless of how much you have studied, it is possible that your exam performance may not reflect your hard work studying for hours on end . That is why we want to give you a few tips to maximise your performance on the day of the exam. 15 Tips for Succeeding on the Day of the Exam:
Exam Tip #1 Wake up early so that you do not need to rush through having breakfast and getting ready.
Exam Tip #2 Check the venue and time of the exam to make sure that you have not confused the day/time/ venue.
Exam Tip #3 Have a balanced breakfast and eat nothing risky (probably not the best day to have a super-hot curry!). Bananas are always a good option.
Exam Tip #4 Before leaving home, check that you have everything that you will need – ID, stationery, map to the exam venue, etc.
Exam Tip #5 Head to the exam with plenty of time. A lot of unexpected events can happen on your way there and you do not want to be late!
Exam Tip #6 If there are people around who are panicking, avoid them. They are not doing you any favour!
Exam Tip #7 Go to the toilet before the exam starts. Exams can be quite long and there is no time to waste.
Exam Tip #8 Remember to write your name on the exam paper. You would not believe how many people have forgotten to do it!
Exam Tip #9 Read all the questions carefully before starting and quickly plan how much time to allocate to each.
Exam Tip #10 Start answering the questions that you feel most confident about. There is no need to answer the questions in order.
Exam Tip #11 If your brain freezes, just start writing anything and you will soon start remembering more details.
Exam Tip #12 Don’t spend more time than you planned on a particular section/question or you might run out of time to answer other questions and gain those extra marks! Also, leave any questions that you are unsure about for the end.
Exam Tip #13 Don’t be afraid to ask the examiner if you are not clear on a question.
Exam Tip #14 Use every minute of the exam and if you have time left, review your answers before handing back the paper.
Exam Tip #15 Stay calm, you have done your homework and have nothing to fear!
Christianity EtcPraying According To The Word – A Key To Effective Prayer. By Pastor Paul Eneche by BASD(op): 8:10am On Dec 16, 2015
Wednesday, 16 December 2015 TOPIC; PRAYING ACCORDING TO THE WORD – A KEY TO EFFECTIVE PRAYER. SCRIPTURE: And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: – 1 John 5:14 THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The secret of praying with result is praying according to God’s Word. One of the major secrets of praying with result is praying in accordance with the Word of God. God does not hear your prayers on the ground of the volume of your tears but on the basis of His Word. God expects us to pray according to His Word if He must hear and answer us. For example, if you go to God in prayer asking Him for a husband, do not go empty-handed; locate a Word from Scripture with which you can validate your request. You can approach God with His Words from scripture like, “Male and female created he them…” Genesis 5:2 . And when you pray, tell God, “I’m female, where is my male?” This is the kind of prayer that moves God. When you are looking for the fruit of the womb or a promotion in your office, look for a relevant Word and turn to God. The truth is, a lawyer does not win cases in court except he makes correct references to relevant portions of applicable laws to validate his argument. In the same manner, when you come before the Judge of the Supreme Court of eternity and the Comptroller General of the universe, and say, ‘Father, on the basis of Your Word in the Bible, I am going to have my child. I am meant to be in my husband’s house. So, I present this Word to You and I will step in there now. Thank You Father for hearing and answering me in Jesus’ Name’. This is the secret of result-oriented prayers. Remember this: The secret of praying with result is praying according to God’s Word. ASSIGNMENT(S): 1. Locate relevant light(s) from God’s Word when you want to pray 2. Pray according to the light from God’s word. FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: PRAYER TOOLS. PRAYER: O LORD, open my eyes to see the word that fits my situation so I can pray effectively. Help me LORD not to pray amiss, in Jesus’ Name. Christianity EtcHow The Late Bishop Benson Idahosa Prophesied Into The Life Of Aliko Dangote by BASD(op): 1:06pm On Dec 07, 2015
The name Aliko Dangote needs no introduction in any circles . The wealthiest man in the black race as at today and consistently so for a few years . This excerpt from the book “ The African Apostles ” authored by Leke Beecroft tells a true story you’ve probably never heard. This is a validation of scriptures . Born on April 10, 1957 in the then Northern Region ( Kano State) Aliko Dangote was born to Mohammed Dangote and Mariya Sanusi Dantata . An ethnic Hausa from Kano State, he showed his love for business by selling sweets even in primary school. As a teenager, he began to work for his uncle, Sani Dangote and it was said of him that he served diligently. Sometime in 1977 and after his 20th birthday, he approached his uncle and master and told him about his plan to establish a business outfit which would trade in cement , sugar , rice , pasta , salt , cotton , millet , vegetable oil and other products . His uncle provided a loan of N 500, 000 but gave a caveat to Aliko to return the loan within a deadline of three - months( this was the practice at the time) . Dangote first of all relocated to Lagos in June 1977 , the commercial nerve centre of Nigeria, also , he then began to travel around Nigeria to develop a strong distribution channel for the quick and efficient delivery of his products . A few years earlier , the Benin Airport had been constructed. This served as one of his routes to the Niger-Delta or South -South area of Nigeria. Benin, formerly known as the City of Blood was then experiencing a great revival through 39 year old Benson Andrew Idahosa , a Bini man , who was established as a young Christian in the Assemblies of God and now pastored the Church of God Mission . Idahosa who had recently returned from a missionary school in America had established strong links with a number of pastors such as Gordon Lindsay , Jim Bakker and T . L Osborn among others. Tommy Lee Osborn, one of the greatest evangelists in modern times had first responded to Benson Idahosa ’s letters in 1962 . Subsequently, a solid relationship was established over the years resulting in Osborn’ s visits with his wife, Daisy to Benin on a few occasions, either for his crusades or specifically to Idahosa ’ s Church. Of all the visits however , one specific visit in the late 1970s was very unique . T. L and Daisy Osborn had stayed late ministering at the Miracle Centre of Church of God Mission just opposite the Airport . They therefore went late to catch their flight to Lagos which was supposed to be a connecting flight from Johannesburg to France , England and then the USA. By the time Idahosa took his guests to the airport, they were told that the last flight for the day was overbooked. Not one seat was available, the passengers had boarded and the flight about to take off . Not only that , the jetliner had begun to taxi towards the runway. Benson Idahosa ” s new mercedes sped towards the tarmac and screeched to a halt in front of the plane. Benson Idahosa came out and waved at the pilot frantically . The plane stopped and the steps were lowered as the pilot came down to know what the issue was. Idahosa began “ I have two of God ’ s important servants who must go to Lagos ” . “ But we are loaded to capacity . Every seat is full ” said the captain. “ Never mind . Let me on board . They all know me ; they see ‘Redemption Hour’ ( Idahosa ’ s TV program ) . Let me talk to them ” . Idahosa obliged, climbed into the plane and walked down the crowded aisles. The passengers were annoyed . He prayed silently as he returned to the front. He turned round , facing the passengers and started “ Excuse me friends, I have two of God ’s special servants in my car . They must go to Lagos today on this plane. Two of you will get off now so God ’s servants can board. God bless you. He waited a minute, no one moved. The silence showed annoyance by the impatient passengers . Some pretended to be asleep and others it seemed were praying . Idahosa slowly walked the aisle again. As he approached the rear , a young man rose from the back of the plane and asked the person sitting next to him to get up. Yes, said Idahosa pointing, you can go tomorrow . You can travel later he said , pointing to the other man . They both gathered their belongings and proceeded from the plane . Benson Idahosa stopped the first man in in the aisle of the plane . He asked him “ youngman , what is your name and what do you do? “ My name is Aliko Dangote and this is my assistant ” the young man replied . “ I am a trader , a businessman” . Impressed. Benson Idahosa responded “ The World will get up for you ” the mostly Christian passengers responded “ Amen ” . “ My God will bless you ! God will take you and your business beyond Africa and bless you beyond measure ” . Just before descending the steps, Idahosa turned and raised his hands with tears in his eyes , praised the Lord and blessed the remaining passengers for their patience. They all broke out in spontaneous clapping. See you on ‘ Redemption Hour’ this Sunday evening he said . They clapped as T. L and Daisy Osborn boarded for the subsequent flight. The world has since stood up for that twenty something year old man . Today, Aliko Dangote is a Nigerian Billionaire ( $18. 6Bn networth ) presently the 67th richest in the world (23rd in 2014 ) and richest in Africa . He flies one of the best jets in the country. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: “Unforgiveness” is one of the worst attacks on spirituality From our anchor scripture, we understand that forgiveness is necessary for the effectiveness of prayer. In other words, your prayer is useless until you forgive and get rid of offences. Unforgiveness is one of the worst attacks on spirituality. The bait of offence is what the enemy uses to destroy the prayer life of God’s people. The truth is, whenever the devil does not know what to do about you, he will send people to offend you. One man who repented from the occult confessed that whenever they wanted to destroy Christians and did not know how to handle them, they would send people to annoy them and through annoyance, they could easily access their lives. If you want to have access to God in the place of prayer, you must deal completely with the spirit of unforgiveness. Now, what does it mean to forgive? 1. It means to give up resentment. For instance, you were resentful and angry but decided to give it up. Forgiveness means ceasing to feel resentful. 2. It means to cease from bitterness and grudges. That is to say, “I was bitter before, I was angry with you before, but now I have stopped being bitter and bearing grudges.” 3. It means to excuse the fault of others. This is a situation where someone says, “Okay, I assume he must have been under pressure that was why he acted like that,” and that settles it. 4. It means to write it off. As in writing off a debt, you can write off the obligation of others by virtue of their offences towards you. Remember this: Unforgiveness is one of the worst attacks on spirituality. ASSIGNMENT(S): 1. Check your life if you are embittered against anyone. 2. Release anyone you are holding in bitterness or “unforgiveness” in your heart. PRAYER: Help me LORD, to release everyone I am holding grudges against in my heart in Jesus’ Name. DAILY READING: Daniel 2:24 to 3:30, 1 Peter 4:7 to 5:14, Psalms 119:81 to 96, Proverbs 28:15 to 16. Thursday, 05 November 2015 TOPIC; CARRYING THE AURA OF HIS PRESENCE SCRIPTURE: “And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence” – Exodus 33:15 THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: A real child of God carries an aura of sanctification that is contrary to the present day seduction. The Aura of God’s Presence is that distinct Godly atmosphere that surrounds a Child of God anywhere he/she goes. Every genuine Christian ought to carry that feel- able presence of God all the time. It makes a lot of difference! Let me give you some practical examples. One day, my wife and I travelled to the United States of America. We went to a shop in New Jersey and immediately we entered, a man looked at me and asked, ‘Are you a pastor?’ I replied, ‘Why do you ask?’ He said, ‘It is written all over you.’ I had a similar experience when I was flying to Port Harcourt (Nigeria). A senator who sat next to me said, ‘Excuse me sir, are you a pastor?’ At another time, I was at the Wembley Area in London with my wife. While we were checking into a hotel, a lady who was of the other religion from North Africa looked at me and said, ‘What you have, I need it.’ My wife and I were amazed! I asked her, ‘What do you mean?’ and she answered, ‘There is something you carry.’ I told her, ‘What I have is Jesus Christ,’ and she said, ‘I need Him.’ And she was led to Christ at that very moment. Hallelujah! Beloved, a real child of God carries an aura of sanctification that is contrary to the present day seduction. Remember this: A real child of God carries an aura of sanctification that is contrary to the present day seduction. ASSIGNMENT (S): 1. Aggressively attack anything trying to deny you God’s presence. 2. Daily press into God in consecration, deep worship, prayer, fasting, etc, for the aura of God’s presence to rub off on you. Tuesday, 03 November 2015 TOPIC; THE MARKETING OF THE FLESH SCRIPTURE: “And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart” Proverbs 7:10 THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Instead of advertising our spirituality, we live in a generation that seeks to advertise carnality. The marketing of the flesh connotes the exposure of sensitive parts of the body with the intention to seduce. From our anchor scripture above, it is established that there is an attire (a dressing) of a harlot. Commercial organizations market their products extensively through advertisement. In the same manner, the attire of a harlot is the attire that merchandises the human flesh as a product to be exploited. In this end time, there is the shameless showcasing of the flesh. It is impossible to differentiate a Jezebel (immoral and seductive woman) from a Christian. They wear dresses that are very revealing and tight on their bodies, yet, they come to church to sing and clap. The question is: who are they deceiving? Instead of advertising our spirituality, we live in a generation that seeks to advertise carnality. The truth is, each time you dress in a seductive manner, you are only advertising your body and you seem to be saying, ‘Everybody see me, look at how physically endowed I am: look at my chest, look at my back, look at how big my hips are; just take a look’. If you are such a person, the only thing you are good for is to be used by men. The challenge is, many children of God have joined the children of the devil in fulfilling satan’s vision by directing people to the path that will lead them into damnation with their looks. But that shall not be your portion in Jesus’ Name. Remember this: Instead of advertising our spirituality, we live in a generation that seeks to advertise carnality. ASSIGNMENT (S): 1. Determine to represent God in your looks or dressing 2. Change your wardrobe if necessary. SCRIPTURE: But seek ye first the kingdom of God and its righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you – Matthew 6:33

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Our spiritual input determines our physical outcome.

The blessing covenant gives rise to the Unction for supernatural supply. God is interested in blessing His children. The first man he created was not left without a blessing. He also blessed Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and several others in Scriptures. That was why they became generational reference points.

The question is: why is it that some people are practical evidence of God’s blessing while others exist as though God is partial? I have realized that our spiritual input determines our physical outcome. If we relate with God like Abraham and other blessing carriers, we must end how they ended.

There are certain virtues and practices that provoke the covenant blessing. They serve as foundations for the covenant blessing. We are going to consider one of those foundations as found in the life of Job.

It is called A HEART FOR GOD.

The Bible says Job was an upright man, one that feared God and eschewed evil. What about his results? He was the greatest of all the men of the East (Job 1:3). He was a man of heavy substance. He literally overwhelmed the land because his substance increased across the land (Job 1:10). Finally, Job was also a man of influence and audience (Job 29:21 -23); he spoke and men listened. Thus, Job became the greatest man in his generation on the platform of a heart for God.

Receive the impartation of a heart for God! You shall not be small in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: Our spiritual input determines our physical outcome.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Make up your mind to align your life with kingdom practices.
2. Ask God for grace to increase your love for Him.

TOPIC;
HOW TO GAIN ACCESS TO GOD’S
PRESENCE

SCRIPTURE:
“…so that you will be blameless and holy in the
presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus
comes with all his holy ones” – 1 Thessalonians 3:13b.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
When you choose a life of sin, you
forfeit the Presence of God.

The Presence of God is the ‘Person’ of God. The Presence
of God is the embodiment of Divinity. Having access to the
Presence of God equals access to God Himself. Just as it is
impossible to have access to a man’s presence without
accessing the man himself, it is impossible to miss the
Person of God once you access His Presence. Thus, God
and His Presence are intertwined, mutually related and
inextricably connected.
What then does it take to access the Presence of God?
Beloved, accessing the Presence of God, as we see in our
anchor Scripture above, is only possible when our lives are
blameless and holy. That means holiness is a key to
accessing the Presence of God. The truth is, nothing
frustrates a man’s stand with God like the guilt of sin.
Anything that tampers with your conscience, tampers with
your access to God.
Now, between the Presence of God and a life of sin, there is
only a choice. When you choose a life of sin, you forfeit the
Presence of God, and when you choose the Presence of
God, you sacrifice the life of sin.
My counsel is, it does not matter what you have or lack,
never be bankrupt of God’s Presence. If you have the
Presence of God you have everything; it is the greatest
asset on earth!
Today, I prophesy to you, anything militating against your
stand with God is hereby terminated, in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this:
When you choose the life of sin, you
forfeit the Presence of God.

ASSIGNMENT (S):
1. Do away with any character that can jeopardize your
stand with God.
2. Ensure that you live permanently in God’s Presence.

Nairaland GeneralReaping The Harvest by BASD(op): 8:12am On Oct 13, 2015
Harvest means the period of gathering what was sown; but in this context, am are talking about souls. Therefore, reaping the harvest simply means taking prompt action in reaching out to sinners and gathering the souls into the kingdom of God without any form of hesitation. We have heard messages on soul winning; it is time to carry out this assignment with all sense of seriousness.

WHAT IS SOUL WINNING?
It is the conversion of a non-christain to a christain or an unbeliever to a believer. Rom 10:9-10

Every believer is chosen by God to become an ordained soul winner. You don't need to be ordained as a Deaconess, Pastor, Evangelist etc; it is an assignment for every believer. God has given us the assignment to reconcile the world back to him.
You can't be a soul winner and be depressed in life and soul winning is the most profitable venture on the earth. it does not just pay; it pays the ultimate John 15:8

Obedience is the hallmark of Christianity. Procrastination is the thief of blessings. it is prompt obedience that guarantees prompt blessings. Isaiah 1:19 John 13:17. It is not enough hearing about soul winning; the blessings only come when we obey promptly. A believer who does not obey the command of soul winning has forfeited his or her biblical right to exist. The blessing is not tied to the hearing, reasoning or thinking but in the doing.

Serving God by winning souls for His kingdom makes you live a sorrow free life
serving God with the whole of your heart is the gateway to all round rest. We must pray and fast for the advancement of His kingdom and reaching out to the lost lost for their salvation.

BENEFITS OF SOUL WINNING
1. You will enjoy instant answered prayers. John 15:16
2. You will shine Daniel 12:3
3. You will experience divine healing and enjoy divine health Exodus 23:25b
4. You will experience all round fruitfulness and never miscarrry Exodus 23:26a
5. You will be a commander of signs and wonders. Mark 16:15, 20
6. You will enjoy divine presence. Mattew 28:20
7. You will experience an unusual dimension of prosperity John 4:35-36

As you go out to win souls in obedience to God's instructions, may God give you a positive surprise that will put all your mockers to shame in Jesus Name. Amen

Career9 Things To Do Before You Reach 30 by BASD(op): 9:17am On Aug 29, 2015
1) Travel

Travel a lot as it has exposes you to new cultures,

You have very little responsibility so go and travel. When you get to 30, you’re going to want to travel slightly differently, spend a little more, do slightly more expensive things, eat at slightly better restaurants. So work for a year and save enough money to experience the world on the cheap.

How do you know what you want to do if you don’t know what’s out there to do?

Don’t just travel to the obvious places.

Travel to the tough places.

Travel to learn.

Travel to discover.

Travel to the places that will challenge who you think you want to be.

2. Start a business

Start a business, no matter how small. Survey your neighborhood and think of what can be beneficial for the people and what they will need. Examples of small businesses include dry-cleaning services, Car washing, Home tutorship. This helps raise small money to offset some expenses while learning and gaining exposure in the process.

3. Focus on your Education

Try reading every day, even for an hour. Read everything in sight, from newspapers, books, articles, journals, etc. Don’t just read about things you know about. Read about people. Read people. Reading opens up the mind, increases vocabulary, improves analytical thinking, improves memory and to some reduce stress.

4. Reduce TV Time and Video Games

Reduce TV and video games time. Except for News and informative programmes watching TV is generally a waste of time.

5. Career Path

Follow your passion, do what you love doing even if it pays little at first. What matters is to be exceptional at whatever you do, be unique, be yourself.

6. Trust issues

At this stage of your life, you are bound to trust and receive lots of advice from people, some good some bad. Even if it destroys your ideas or you lose your friends. Trust people until they give you a reason not to. But don’t dull yourself. Some people are out to mess you up.

7. People

The calibre of People you surround yourself with matter a lot. People have ways of influencing your decisions, thoughts and sometimes actions. Like the saying goes, “Birds of a feather fly together”. A few people will change your life forever. Find them. Be around great people, so you too can have great aspirations.

8. Perseverance

Learn to persevere in all you do and never give up. You would face a lot of challenges in life, put keep pushing on.

9. Fail

Fail a lot. Fail often. Fail at love. Fail at sex. Fail at socialising. Fail at making friends. Fail at work. Fail at business. Fail with family. Fail with existing friends.

If you don’t learn something every time you fail then all you’ve done is failed. If you learn something, then you’ve grown. Every time you grow and learn and fail, you get better at figuring out how to succeed.
