RomanceA Husband Admits To His Wife That He’s Cheating. by BASD(op): 6:51am On Aug 19, 2015
This is a letter exchange between a husband
and wife. It is an interesting story that should
really get you chuckling once you reach the
second letter. Find out how this awesome lady
responded to her husband’s disgusting and
totally disrespectful letter.
She was probably hurt at first after reading that
insensitive letter but instead of bursting into
tears and feeling helpless, check out her
brilliant answer, it was totally perfect!
A 54 year old husband wrote this letter to his wife and left it on the dining room table:
When the man came home late
that night, he found a letter on
the dining room table.
This is definitely one hell of a woman.. better
not mess with her. How would you respond if
you ever received a similar letter from your
beloved partner? Share your opinions in the
comments below!

Response Had Me Laughing Out
Loud!

To My Dear Wife,
You will surely understand that I have
certain needs that you, being 54 years
old, can no longer satisfy.
I am very happy with you and I value you
as a good wife. Therefore, after reading
this letter, I hope that you will not
wrongly interpret the fact that I will be
spending the evening with my 18-year-old
secretary at the Comfort Inn Hotel.
Please don’t be upset — I shall be home
before midnight.

My Dear Husband,
I received your letter and thank you for
your honesty about my being 54 years
old.
I would like to take this opportunity to
remind you that you are also 54 years
old. As you know, I am a math teacher at
our local college.
I would like to inform you that while you
read this, I will be at the Hotel Fiesta
with Michael, one of my students, who is
also the assistant tennis coach. He is
young, virile, and, like your secretary, is
18 years old.
As a successful businessman who has an
excellent knowledge of math, you will
understand that we are in the same
situation, although with one small
difference — 18 goes into 54 a lot more
times than 54 goes into 18.
Don’t wait up. I will not be home until
sometime tomorrow.

DESTINY ENHANCERS

Overview
SCRIPTURE: Keep therefore the words of this covenant and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do – Deuteronomy 29:9

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: ‘No one ever succeeds beyond their level of intimacy with God’.

God desires that you fulfil the purpose He created you for. Destiny can be assisted into fulfilment by destiny enhancers. There are many people with colourful destinies that ended up as nonentities because they are ignorant of the factors that undergird destinies. And when these factors are neglected, your destiny is in jeopardy.

What then are the factors that undergird effective destiny?
1. Intimacy with God: In order for anyone to fulfil destiny on earth, that person requires intimacy with God. Intimacy with God means closeness with God. It also means high spirituality and the capacity to feel the Presence of God. It is maintaining a constant communion with God. This is very critical in the journey of destiny. Nobody ever succeeds beyond their level of intimacy with God.

2. Integrity: This is living a clean and clear life. It is the neatness of the soul and spirit. For instance, the purer gold is, the more valuable it will be. So, your destiny will be enhanced by your integrity. That is why every time you engage in sinful, immoral or corrupt practice; you corrupt the value of your destiny. It is like stuffing your body with garbage, thereby inviting flies into your life. So, dirt destroys destiny. Samson’s destiny was destroyed because he allowed immoral dirt into his life. Your intimacy with God comes under the attack anytime you permit immorality in your life. That shall not be your portion in Jesus’ Name.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Insist on greater level of intimacy with God to realise your destiny.
2. Resist every temptation to fall into sin.

PRAYER: Lord, thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit. Help me, Lord to draw nearer to You in relationship, in Jesus’ Name.

First Thing I Learnt From Dr David Oyedepo

MY FIRST LESSON FROM DR DAVID OYEDEPO

As told by Pastor Sam Adeyemi.

The first day I went to Canaanland, Ota to see Bishop David Oyedepo was a memorable one full of lessons. I had met him at the National Ecumenical Centre, Abuja where I first told him I wanted him to mentor me in ministry; because I needed the same grace of effortless accomplishments on his life and ministry.david_oyedepo

He had his PA give me his complimentary card, then told me to come to his office at Canaanland, Ota. I was so excited that I couldnt wait for the Independence Day National Christain Service to end at the Ecumenical Centre so I could dash home and tell my wife about my encounter with the bishop.

On the appointed date, I went to Canaanland, Ota with my wife Nike to see the bishop. We waited for six hours and could not see him. There was a crowd of people also waiting. He is a thoroughly busy person, and he gives a good measure of time to each person that enters the office.

I was totally disappointed that day. I thought he would tell his orderlies and PA to bring me inside immediately once they saw me; because I was Pastor Sam Adeyemi of Daystar Christain Center.Pastor Sam Adeyemi

By 3pm, we were all told to go home and come at another appointed day; without as much as any explanation. Since I entered full time ministry, that was my first time of having to wait for an audience with someone; to wait for a full six hours!

I went home angry. I told myself I wont go there again. “What sort of thing is this?” “How can I stay there and waste a whole day without seeing the bishop?” “Dont I have other things to do?” I kept fuming to myself at home. I couldnt calm down to piece together all that happened at Canaanland that day. For all I cared, the bishop knew I was coming that day to see him.

But my wife kept telling me to be patient so as to get what I want. Nike talked me into going back to canaanland for another wait for the bishop. I finally determined that I must see him, no matter the time it would take.

On the new date of appointment, I went again with my wife and waited another six hours before we were sent home. I had cancelled a lot of meetings and shifted a dozen appointments to go back to Canaanland, Ota. I was so thoroughly washed down by that second disappointment.

It then happened for the third time before my wife stopped talking me into going again. She allowed me to make my decision. I had had enough. I went home and got busy. I neither called the bishop during this my period of total hands-on-ministry, nor went to see him again. I simply bought all his books, and a thousand tapes of the bishop. I read the books till they became a part of me. I listened to the tapes at home, in the office, and when I’m driving. I soaked myself in the work of the ministry. We started many projects in our church, including setting up schools, orphanages, and the Daystar Leadership Academy. I didn’t bother to call nor try fixing another appointment with his PAs.

Six months later, we met at the domestic wing of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos, and you should have seen the look of surprise and happiness at the same time on the bishop’s face.

“This my son. Where on earth have you been?” Did you travel to Mars?” He hugged me so tight as if his life depended on it. He was all smiles. He started asking me questions about how ministry has been going, and I answered excitedly, with all the clarity he wanted.

We found a seat in the lounge and talked for about 30 minutes; because the flight was delayed by 30 minutes. He kept asking questions and I kept talking.

The next day, the bishop called me. He called me again after three days. From then on, seeing him became less cumbersome. That was how I became a regular keynote speaker at the Covenant University Special Programmes on Character Development and National Transformation.

Today, the bishop pubicly refers to me as one of his favourite sons in ministry, and our ministry has grown in leaps and bounds because I sense the same grace upon the bishop operating in our ministry too.

TAKE HOME LESSON
Deep calls unto deep. Men of destiny, men of purpose, men who are busy and occupied with their primary assignment on the earth can easily recognise themselves across a hall when they meet.

All things being equal, busy people love busy people. Busy people rarely love to associate with, or accomodate people who slow down their momentum.

So whenever you find yourself complaining about an apperant lack of attention from a busy person, the solution is to just go and get busy with your life and assignment. First of all, discover your specific assignment, your niche, and grow in your influence. Get busy!

This is because recognising each other when you’re both at the top is far easier and effortless than recognising each other at the crowded ground level. The high decibel of noise and purposeless activity of the crowd at the ground level, comprising of people of all sort of character and orientation will never allow that to happen.

Up your game!

TOPIC;
DESTINED TO EXCEL

SCRIPTURE:
Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest
wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee
with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. – Psalm 45:7

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
If you are connected to the Most
High God, you are not permitted to live a low life.

We are meant to exist at the realm of perpetual relevance,
influence, prominence, significance and dominance. The
Bible says, ‘Then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord; and
I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth,
and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the
mouth of the Lord hath spoken it’ (Isaiah 58:14).
The revelation of God’s Word in this passage was what
gave Kenneth Copeland the first private aircraft he flew and
he has given out 27 aircrafts to people. When he came in
contact with this passage, he told himself, ‘God is saying to
me, I shall ride on the high places of the earth, and I have
no business with the low places.’ So, if you are connected
to the Most High God, you are not permitted to live a low
life.
In Psalm 125:1 , we are meant to be on top like mount Zion;
it is to be at the realm of perpetual relevance, influence,
prominence, significance and dominance. This is the
destiny of anyone that is connected to God. If you are
connected to God, you are not permitted to be a struggler;
you are not allowed to sweat through life or be at the
backside of life. That is not the will of God for you.
Today, everything is changing. I curse every trace of
mediocrity in your life today, in the Name of Jesus.

Remember this:
If you are connected with the Most High
God, you are not
live a low life.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Study God’s Word to know your position and place in
God.
2. Trust in God as your only source and never put your trust
in man.

TOPIC:
UNDERSTANDING CHARACTER

SCRIPTURE:
But Daniel purposed in his heart that he will
not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor
with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the
prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself – Daniel 1:8

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
When a person has one identity in church and another outside the church, he has character infirmity.

It has been confirmed that no one can see the glory of God
except he lives a life of holiness. Therefore, if something
must be glorious, it must be on the platform of holiness
(Exodus 15:11) . Nothing can be glorious without
character.
What then is character?
1. It is existing with a life that is open. A man of character
lives an open life like an open book. Paul’s conscience
was void of offence towards God and towards man (Acts
24:16) . As a man of character, who you are publicly is
also who you are privately; who you are in church is who
you are at home.
When a person has one identity in church and another
outside the church, he has a character infirmity.
2. Character is existence with positive conviction, not
consensus. People of positive character have positive
conviction; they do not live for consensus. Character is
living for positive purpose and not for pleasure. It is an
existence that is purpose-driven, not pleasure-driven.
There are people who are pleasure-driven, so they can do
anything as far as it makes them happy. Also note that
character is living not just for the immediate but also for
the ultimate. People of character do not go for temporary
gain and end in permanent loss.
So, beloved be a person of character and secure your
destiny in time and in eternity.

Remember this:
When a person has one identity in church
and another outside the church, he has a character
infirmity.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Do everything possible to maintain a positive character.
2. Never allow your life to be driven by pleasure; be
eternity-minded.

Education10 Things To Make You More Intelligent by BASD(op): 10:23am On Jul 11, 2015
Our brain is a pretty mysterious thing. For
productive work it needs our care and
attention. Read in this article about 10
great things to help your brain always be in
tonus and, of course, to make you more
intelligent.

Drink water just after awaking
Drink two glasses of water 30 minutes
after awaking daily. Your organism did not
get water during the night time, so it is
sufficiently important for people’s bodies
to bring water in your organism after 6-9-
hour sleep. Your organism, in general, and
your brain, in particular, should not
become dehydrated.
By the way, you can easily count how
much water do you need a day. Just
multiply your weight by 3 and divide by
100. For example, I am 80 kilograms, so I
need 2.4 liters of water daily.

Read summaries of books during breakfast
Book reading is a cool thing, and
breakfast is the best time for reading
some kind of short articles. You can read
a Twitter newsline, but will it really bring
any use? You can also read news, but do
you really want them in the very beginning
of your day? Try to organize a without-
news month. Believe me, all important
news will reach your ears in any case,
and all that will not influence your life is
rubbish.
It is better to read book summaries during
the breakfast time. What is a good book?
Try to pay your attention on bestsellers.
These are popular books, so, they cannot
be bad. You (personally!) may dislike one
of them. However, you need to learn its
summary firstly in order not to spend
much time on a dull book and get to know
the main plot of the story, as well.

Drink green tea during work
I could write here long scientifically
proved facts with researches
and chemicals description, as well as
their influence on different person’s
organs, but I am not writing this article
for this reason. Instead, I will advice you:
drink green tea rather than coffee. It has
a positive effect on our organism, your
overall health condition and ability to work
hard psychically.

Day sleep is truly a good thing
A short day slumbering helps refresh your
brain.
According to the recent researches,
people who sleep during a day are able to
learn quicker and more effectively.

Stop consuming sugar
Sugar is harmful for your body! If you can,
exclude sugar from your nutrition. Or just
bring its amount to the minimum level. If
you do not have such an opportunity, try
not to eat sugar when you need to
concentrate. Sugar does not allow your
brain to work quickly. Eggs and fish,
instead, are very useful for a brain.

Visit social networks a couple of
times a week
Your brain adapts quickly to the
information which you feed it with. If you
always relax while surfing Facebook or
Twitter or websites with funny but often
insipid images, your brain will always be
relaxed and it will be hard for you to turn
to work. Make your brain work at the
breaking point, feed it with some useful
information. If you still need to relax, turn
on a clock register for 10-15 minutes and
look for some useless photos and
quotations from various publics.

Read book instead of watching TV
While reading you are to create images of
heroes, imagine their voices and even live
the whole situations form a book. All
these things help keep your brain in
tonus.

Add physical activities to your life
Our brain is closely connected with our
body. Physical exercises not only help us
keep fit, but also make our brain work
hard. You do not need to visit a gym,
though, spending there all your free time.
Go upstairs on foot instead of using a lift,
walk from a subway to your home. Leave
some free time for light exercises.

Spend your time with people smarter
than you

If you want to win chess game, choose a
weak rival. If you want to learn to play
better, choose a stronger one. The same
is with our brain. If we communicate with
people who are more intelligent than we
are, we soon will be reaching for their
high mental level. And you will certainly
reach it!
Unfortunately, this rule works the wrong
way, as well.

Walk in fresh air
There exist many articles about positive
effect of fresh air on your organism. It is
also useful for our brain functioning. It
works due to oxygen comsumption. Feed
your brain!

HealthHow To Clear Your Skin Of Dark Spots by BASD(op): 2:05pm On Jul 01, 2015
A friend of mine called me last week to seek
advice on how she can get rid of dark spots that
have disfigured her face. When I saw the picture
I knew I had to do a research on various home
remedies that have no side or harmful effects.
There are lots of cosmetics you can use but I
am not going to dwell on those but on remedies
that will cost you little. Dark spots are really
embarrassing and when they are extensive they
can form dark patches.
Dark spots are hyper-pigmentation of the skin.
There is a chemical substance in the skin that
gives it the dark colour. When there is an over-
production of this chemical substance you get
the dark spots. There may be many causes for dark spots on
your skin. Hormonal imbalance is one of them.
Sometimes, dark spots are due to some blood
vessel deformities under the skin where these
dark spots appear on your skin. However,
excessive sun exposure seems to be the biggest
reason behind dark spots on skin. Dark spots
can also be caused by use of low grade
cosmetic products.
While there are many skin cosmetics such as
hydroquinone cream, tretinoin cream and azelaic
acid cream as well as various skin treatments
like chemical peels and intense pulsed light
therapy, fancy huh? Never mind we are going to
talk about all natural ways to get rid of these
dark spots on your skin.
How To Fade Out Your Dark spots
Lemon juice
Lemon juice has bleaching properties that can
help get rid of dark spots because of its acidic
content. It will help maintain soft, clear and
beautiful skin. You can apply fresh lemon juice
directly on the affected area. Leave it on for 30
minutes before rinsing it off with cold water. You
should repeat this twice daily for about two
months to notice positive results. If you have
sensitive skin, dilute the lemon juice with water.
Vinegar
Vinegar has a number of recognized healing
properties. Due to the multiple health benefits of
vinegar it has been a popular cure for thousands
of years. In fact Hippocrates, the Greek
physician was one of the first to document
vinegar’s healing properties. You can also use
vinegar to get rid of your dark spots. It will help
dry out and fade the dark spots quickly. Mix an
equal amount of vinegar and water and rub on
areas with dark spots. You should do that till the
dark spots fade away. You can also mix it with
honey and rub on the affected areas.
Aloe Vera
Aloe vera is very good for the skin because of its
regenerative properties. Aloe Vera is a species
of plant that has been used for thousands of
years to treat both skin conditions and other
health issues. It is grown in North America and
its history as a medicinal treatment has been
traced back as far as 6,000 years. The pure gel
from inside the stem can be used directly on the
skin to instill its healing properties, but has
recently been extracted and bottled for sale by
natural cosmetics and medical companies. This
seemingly magical plant contains all kinds of
anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and other
natural properties that make it perfect for
treating most skin problems. It works on
hyperpigmentation by encouraging the skin to
regenerate new skin cells. As the new skin cells
form, the old ones are sloughed off, leaving a
fresh, new area free of the unsightly dark spots.
Extract the gel from the leaves and rub on the
affected areas, you should get a positive result in
few days.
Potatoes
Unbelievable right! but they are very effective.
Potatoes are rich in vitamins and minerals,
essential fatty acids and a variety of
phytochemicals such as carotenoids and
polyphenols. The Vitamin-C, B-complex and
minerals such as potassium, magnesium,
calcium, phosphorus and zinc, potatoes are able
to stimulate collagen and elastin synthesis. This
gives you an evenly toned complexion. In fact,
potato juice is one of the best remedies for dark
spots due to its skin lightening properties. Many
natural enzymes, sugars and starches of
potatoes along with its vitamin C, exfoliate your
skin to slough off the dead cells and thus
diminishing the dark spots.
Other Effective Ways Include The Use Of;
Onion juice
Pawpaw or papaya mash
Watermelon rind
Buttermilk
CrimeWhat A Lesson To Learn, Even From A Robbery Incident... by BASD(op): 6:52am On Jun 29, 2015
SO I JUST READ THIS FROM MY FRIEND MR.
YARD HYELPAMDUWA'S WALL AND I AM STILL
THINKING ABOUT IT. TELL ME WHAT YOU ARE
THINKING ABOUT IF YOU ARE TOO...
During a robbery in Guangzhou, China, the bank
robber shouted to everyone in the bank: "Don't
move. The money belongs to the State. Your life
belongs to you."Everyone in the bank laid down
quietly. This is called"Mind Changing Concept”
Changing the conventionalway of thinking.When
a lady lay on the table provocatively, the robber
shouted at her: "Please be civilized! This is a
robbery and not a rape!"This is called "Being
Professional” Focus only on what you are trained
to do!When the bank robbers returned home, the
younger robber (MBA-trained) told the older
robber (who has only completed Year 6 in
primary school): "Big brother, let's count how
much we got."The older robber rebutted and
said: "You are very stupid. There is so much
money it will take us a long time to count.
Tonight, the TV news will tell us how much we
robbed from the bank!"This is called
"Experience.” Nowadays, experience is more
important than paper qualifications!After the
robbers had left, the bank manager told the bank
supervisor to call the police quickly. But the
supervisor said to him: "Wait! Let us take out
$10 million from the bank for ourselves and add
it to the$70 million that we have previously
embezzled from the bank”.This is called "Swim
with the tide.” Converting an unfavorable
situation to your advantage! The supervisor says:
"It will be good if there is a robbery every
month."This is called "Killing Boredom.” Personal
Happinessis more important than your job.The
next day, the TV news reported that $100
millionwas taken from the bank. The robbers
counted and counted and counted, but they
could only count $20 million. The robbers were
very angry and complained: "We risked our lives
and only took $20 million. The bank manager
took $80 million with a snap of his fingers. It
looks like it is better to be educated than to be a
thief!"This is called "Knowledge is worth as much
as gold!"The bank manager was smiling and
happy because his losses in the share market
are now covered by this robbery. This is called
"Seizing the opportunity.” Daring to take risks! So
who are the real robbers here? —
Christianity EtcHow To Develop Leaders Through Coaching by BASD(op): 1:47pm On Jun 28, 2015
Coaching focuses on people learning rather than
us teaching them. The Holy Spirit teaches and
reminds (John 14:21). Coaches actively listen
and ask reflective questions, supportively
challenge limited beliefs and behaviors—all in
order to assist people to hear from God and
respond to Him.
This practice of coaching in leadership
development is actually a throwback to the
historic roots of word “coach,” which is the Kocs
wagon of 15th-century Hungary. A coach
figuratively “carries” a person to his or her
desired destination through ongoing
conversations, thought-provoking questions and
support.
In practice,
· A coach focuses on the agenda of the
coachee. The coachee decides which goals or
problems to work on, not the coach.
· A coach uses powerful questions to
generate new learning. The coach does not
teach or advise, but rather asks questions and
listens.
· A coach encourages action. The coachee
develops his or her own action steps, not the
coach.
· A coach supports change. A coach follows-
up to support personal learning, growth and
change, rather than demanding change.
Those who are coached (coachees) are in the
driver’s seat. They choose their own growth
goals, reflect deeply on their current situation,
think through their options and decide their next
steps.
Coaching may sound great, but you may be
wondering how this fits with teaching. After all,
didn’t Jesus tell people what to do and how to
believe? Aren’t the Ten Commandments rather
clear in telling us what God’s expectations are of
us in terms of lifestyle? Developing leaders
requires that we teach and train others, does it
not?
Yes, yes and yes!
You’ll get no argument from me. I love to teach
and do regularly. The question is: What teaching
methods are most effective for developing
leaders? There’s more to teaching than telling.
It’s been shown again and again that adults
learn better through dialogue and discovery than
by someone lecturing to them.
Think of how you like to learn. Maybe you can
relate to Winston Churchill when he said, “I am
always ready to learn although I do not always
like being taught.”
As we develop leaders, I want to suggest a
different approach—integrating coaching skills.
Leaders are developed through a mysterious
mixture of reflection, experience, ideation,
authenticity, critical thinking and guidance. It can
be a messy process. A coaching approach
facilitates this process.

Christianity EtcThe Best Kept Secret About Addiction by BASD(op): 9:53am On Jun 20, 2015
THE BEST KEPT SECRET ABOUT ADDICTION
When you mention names like Kareem Abdul-
Jabbar, Larry Bird, Wilt Chamberlain, Michael
Jordan, Shaquile O’Neal, look closely there could
have been a Christopher among the 50 Greatest
Players in the history of NBA. Sadly Christopher
didn’t get to the list; truth is he didn’t even get
to play in the NBA. Fast forward twenty years
after, Christopher now Pastor Chris Delvan
shares in his compelling sermon on the 5th
of June at TWB, on how cigarette smoking took
away his basket ball dream, and how drugs took
away his music dream. An addiction can be fun
in the immediate, but could be cost you
something vital in the long run?
Chris had a noble dream as a teenager to play
for the NBA, which was his ticket to live the life
of his dreams, but he smoked twice as much
cigarettes, as he worked hard to improve his
basketball skills. One day a sudden opportunity
came when the NBA team came by his
neighbourhood in Kaduna to select players.
Everyone knew Christopher was an exceptional
player and would definitely make the list. But
one thing Christopher and his teammates didn’t
know was that his lungs had degenerated
terribly. He attempted to run, but couldn’t. He
was often exasperated, wheezing uncontrollably
and coughing hysterically. “Maybe he was just
tired” his coach thought. But Christopher knew
this was pay day; his tiredness was a symptom
of damaged lungs, it was the culmination of
years of smoking a pack of cigarettes a day. He
finally quit cigarettes, but sadly only after he had
quit his dreams.
In his narrative, Pastor Chris Delvan said, life can
hardly exist in a vacuum, we are constantly
under certain influences and our urge for props,
stuff, adventure, substances, alcohol, among
others is ever present. Our generation is one at
risk to be an addict generation; there is no
shortage of options to get hooked on; some
people are at the point where they are
unconsciously developing one addiction, some
are currently grappling with one, while some are
struggling to get out of one.
It can be difficult battling addiction, as often we
relapse and our resolve to fight dissolves, leading
us to relinquish and settle into a life of slavery
that addiction offers. Our entertainment lacks no
creativity to churn out episodes of interesting
soap operas and sitcom that engages us to the
point of redundancy; sooner or later we are
hooked. Some are hooked to sugar, other
substances, some adventure, some success,
some binge, sex and pornography. But none of
these satisfies; they only provide momentary
pleasure and relief, not long after we indulge our
thirst for more returns. Truth is, not all
addictions are sinful, but most are costly.
Unfortunately most of the addictions in life take
something away from us. They cost us our
dreams, health, relationships, careers and even
life.
Every human thirst for stuff is an expression of
an innate desire to connect with our Father.
Christ offers a different kind of addiction; He is
the only addiction that adds to you. In Christ we
find the addiction to end all addiction, one that
truly satisfies, saves and replenishes. in John 4;
14 “But the water I give them takes away thirst
altogether. It becomes a perpetual spring within
them, giving them eternal life.” The longing to
quench our dry soul can be powerful. In Rev
22:17 says “If you are thirsty, come! If you want
life-giving water come and take it. It’s free.”
Each of us is now a part of his resurrection
body, refreshed and sustained at one fountain-his
Spirit-where we all come to drink- 1 Cor 12:13.
Wouldn’t you check out his offer?
Christianity EtcJesus The Therapy For All by BASD(op): 1:25pm On Jun 18, 2015
JESUS was national news. When Pilate handed
Christ over to a death squad it wasn't for
spreading hopelessness. Jesus was too
dangerously fascinating. He created too much
excitement. "All the world has gone out after
Him” said His jealous enemies (John 12:19).
But, "The common people heard Him
gladly."(Mark 12:37) Police came to arrest Him
but were captivated by Him. They explained
"Nobody ever talked like this Man." (John 7:46)
His words are eternal life. This is the Jesus we
love and worship. God bless you.

Nairaland General10 Bad Habits That Will Keep You From Getting Rich by BASD(op): 9:31am On Jun 13, 2015
Successful, wealthy people do not just
suddenly become rich and successful.
Success is a process that takes place
over many years.
Long before most wealthy people
become wealthy, they make a habit of
living below their means.
The following is a list of ten spending
habits I've uncovered during my
five-year study of the rich and the
poor that will prevent you from ever
achieving financial independence:
1. Charging ordinary living expenses on
a credit card. If you are unable to
afford meeting your ordinary living
expenses and must resort to the use
of a credit card to meet your monthly
living expenses, you are, by
definition, living above your means.
Accumulating credit card debt is the
third leading cause of bankruptcy,
behind a job loss and medical costs.
2. Spending more than 25% of your net
income on housing costs. Housing costs
include rent, mortgage, real estate
taxes, utilities, insurance, repairs,
and maintenance.
3. Spending more than 15% of your net
income on food. This includes
groceries and does not include
prepared food. Prepared food is part
of your entertainment budget.
4. Spending more than 10% of your net
income on entertainment/gifts. This
category includes bars, restaurants,
movies, music, books, gifts, etc.
Eating out and any prepared food
you purchase is part of your
entertainment budget.
5. Spending more than 5% of your net
income on car expenses. Car expenses
include a lease, loan, insurance, gas,
tolls, registration fees, repairs, and
maintenance.
6. Spending more than 5% of your net
income on vacations.
7. Spending any money on gambling .
8. Going over the top on gift-giving.
Gifts are part of your entertainment/
gift budget. Sticking to your 10%
budget will prevent you from going
overboard on gift giving.
9. Spending more than 5% of your net
income on clothing . More than a few
of the wealthy in my study had the
Rich Habit of buying the bulk of their
clothes at goodwill stores. Many
Goodwill stores sell high quality
clothing at a deep discount. It may
require spending a few more dollars
on a tailor, but it's well worth the
additional cost.
10. Impulse spending. Spontaneous
spending is never a good idea. You
need to take the emotion out of your
spending habits. There is always time
to plan and shop before your spend
your hard-earned money.
Maintaining a spending budget for
various categories and getting into
the habit of writing down everything
you spend will keep you on the right
track. It will also open your eyes for
the first time. You will be shocked to
find out how much you spend on
certain budget categories — and
that's a good thing.
Getting control of your spending is
not an easy task. Once it becomes a
daily habit, however, it gets much
easier.

HealthGuaranteed Whiten Teeth : How To Whiten Teeth In 2 Minutes by BASD(op): 4:02pm On Jun 07, 2015
There are many people that are struggling
with the problem of yellowish teeth, and
feel uncomfortable every time they smile.
Are you one of them?
Regular cleaning and brushing is not
enough to avoid the problem of stains on
the teeth, and even though the whitening
strips can be effective, they also cause
painful sensitivity of the gums and teeth.
Therefore here we are going to recommend
you a simple and natural way to whiten
your teeth in several shades, without
damaging them with harsh chemicals such
as those usually found in products for
teeth whitening.
For this mixture you will need a little
baking soda and lemon. In a small bowl put
a little baking soda and mix it with fresh
squeezed lemon juice, until the mixture
becomes slightly foamy.
With a cotton wool, used for removing
makeup, wipe and clean all your teeth
before you thoroughly brush them with this
amazing mixture. After applying it on your
teeth leave it for a minute. Then wash your
teeth normally with a toothbrush.
Note: You must not leave the mixture
applied on your teeth for more than one
minute, because the acid will damage the
teeth enamel!
