Messenger will have — over time there will be some overlap between that and payments. But I guess what I’m just trying to say is two things. One is, the payments piece will be a part of what will help drive the overall success and help people share with each other and interact with businesses. But we’re really focused on the interactions overall, rather than the mechanism and David shares that view.
And the second thing is just that there’s so much ground work that we need to do in order to make it so that people are communicating with businesses and public figures and entities in these other apps that we’re building, which is part of the business ecosystem. And I really can’t underscore that enough that we have a lot of work to do and we could take the cheap and easy approach and just try to put ads in or do payments and make some money in the short term. But we’re not going to do that. So to the extent that any of your models or anything reflects that we might be doing that, I would strongly encourage you here to adjust that, because we’re not going to and we’re going to take time to do this in the way that we think that’s going to be right over multiple years.
Facebook has been doing a lot in the messaging realm lately from the pending WhatsApp acquisition to that strange Slingshot app to new a potential new “Instagram Bolt” app.
The company has been tinkering with Payments offerings for years, so it’s hardly a shock that Facebook would consider putting both concepts together (really, it makes a lot more sense than Slingshot). They did, after all, hire PayPal’s David Marcus to run the messaging unit.

It is definitely booming, which explains Facebook’s $19 billion deal to take it over. The number of messages and photos shared on the platform is tremendous even when compared to platforms dedicated for photo sharing like Instagram or Snap Chat.
In Saudi Arabia, similar to other social media platforms, WhatsApp is sneaking its way into daily lives, into our culture. Look around you, you will find people with their eyes glued to the mobile screens, reading, laughing and reposting. What makes it a bit unique is that it is not only popular among certain demographics like Twitter and Facebook, it is popular everywhere. Young or old, highly or moderately educated, you are most probably part of different WhatsApp groups; friends, family, or even business, it is reinventing the way we interact and communicate.
This dominance of WhatsApp in the messaging market might come to an end at the hands of no other thanTwitter. According to Mashable,Twitter just announced last Friday night that it is planning to update its iOS and Android apps so users can view their entire direct messages history on mobile. Many analysts see this as an indication thatTwitteris seriously thinking of entering the market of messaging especially with the boom in platforms like WhatsApp and Line.
Meawhile last April, Twitter introduced pop-up notifications for messages on its Web app, and it tested the possibility of opening the messages so you could receive them from anybody, not only from those you follow, in addition to rumors that Twitter might introduce a group messaging option in the near future, as explained by Mashable.
Twitter CEO Dick Costolo himself talked about the importance of updating the messaging features on the platform. “When you think about the best international opportunity,” Costolo said on a call with Mashable, “there’s a real opportunity for us when we think about our private messaging to strengthen the core of our Twitter product by making it easier for users to move more fluidly between the public conversation that happens everywhere on Twitter and the private conversation between you and a friend or you and a few friends.
If such changes and updates find their way to Twitter, it would shake the messaging platforms market share, it would certainly give Facebook a good run for its investment. Combining the public timeline with its news and general interests with the cosy and warmer family and friends messages would be an exciting thing to see.
At the very least, we would not be seeing messages moving from this platforms, they will all be one!.

Q: What are some of your design philosophies informing the white Passport?
Paschke: Our team chose this exact shade of white to work with the warmth of the unique, stainless steel frame. The color is custom to BlackBerry.
Hofer: On a detail level, the white color has been further tuned for each individual part and material in order to create overall color harmony.
Q: What inspired the look, feel and materials of the white Passport?
Paschke: The rear cover uses a ‘porcelain feel’ coating that is smooth to the touch while providing grip and complementing the soft touch coating used on the black Passport. So they work as a family.
Hofer: In fact, all of the surfaces for both the black and white Passport have been gently softened for comfort while maintaining a modern look. The finish along with the smooth shaping creates a refined experience.
Q: Tell me what makes the Passport so special to you in general?
Paschke: The Passport leverages our strengths and heritage, yet is new and innovative. As the name implies … the format is inspired by a traveler’s passport; a familiar and universal symbol of mobility. This familiarity has potential to leverage existing systems and standards.
Hofer: Though the layout may be unique, the experience of using Passport will feel familiar to many.

Adamawa State Acting Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, yesterday stormed the Abuja National Secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), telling party leaders that “I have delivered”.
Fintiri went ahead to tell the party chiefs that he had recovered and delivered the mandate stolen by ousted Governor Murtala Nyako to the ruling party.
Speaking with reporters shortly after he had a closed door meeting with some of the national officials of the party, Fintiri said his emergency as governor had restored the state back to the PDP.
The four-day-old Acting Governor said: “As a loyal and obedient party member, I came on a courtesy call to my party and the National Working Committee as my first assignment after the battle to remove Governor Nyako who had stolen the mandate of the PDP under which he was elected.
“I came here to bring back the mandate and I have handed over to them (party leaders) the mandate. I promise that I will work together with the party, its leadership and the people of Adamawa to ensure that our party is restored to the people”.
The PDP National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh, stated that Fintiri would restore dignity to the party as well as address the rot and the damage caused the party by former Governor Nyako.
He promised the Acting Governor the support and encouragement of the party’s leadership.
The party’s National Deputy chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, who received Fintiri and his team said that the removal of Nyako and the emergence of the Acting Governor would help address the rot the people of the state had experienced.

YouWave supports Android 4.0.4 ICS version which means that any app, which requires 4.1 Jelly Bean or higher can’t be run on your PC using Youwave. Before making any purchase , i will advise you to download the trial version of YouWave with 10 days validity.

“The photo was taken on 2012, we were working on aerial photos for eco-tourism spot at Bali Barat National Park (west Bali, Indonesia) . We were taking vertical aerial photos using autopilot. Suddenly the eagle came and chasing our drones, so I decided to take over and switch to manual control. After few minutes we discovered that the eagle did not attack the drone but chasing and playing with it. So we decided to do manual fliying (with fpv) and make the eagle chase the drone and do maneuver so the eagle positioned just in front our camera. So it just a huge luck and a perfect moment combination.”
