Afrok: I just like C.Ronaldo, keep up the good work... A successful person at that shuns tattoos just because he wants to keep donating blood, but some people out there who are still hustling will do anything just to tattoo their body.He doesn't drink alcohol too |
kaorama: Maigari or whatever u call urself, u are calling for govt probe cos u have been taught b ur APC brothers how to chop and clean mouth. U must go next month after election. The man has been the best NFF chairman since 2002 despite is shortcomings, since the begining of is administration our national team have been playing friendly matches unlike the Galadima , Sani Lulu era. Even our under 17 in preparation for the qualifier of the under 17 nations cup have played Egypt they even went for a tourney in Benin or Togo can't remember where they finish third. Same things apply to the Under 20 male and female team. |
After holding hours of meeting, the embattled board of the Nigeria football federation led by Aminu Maigari have called for a government probe into their finances. The Maigari-led NFF have been accused of corruption by stakeholders in the country, chiefly by former NFF president, Sani Lulu who wrote a letter to president Goodluck Jonathan to probe the embattled NFF board. Speaking after the meeting, NFF executive committee member Emeka Inyama has dared the federal government, by calling for a probe into the NFF finances. He said: "We thank president Goodluck Jonathan for his support and the sports minister for his fatherly role. "We've heard so much about the NFF finances, so we have resolved and call on the federal government to set up a probe panel to look into the NFF finances so that the issue can be laid to rest. "The board is ready to account for every money received and spent. I think it's only fair to hear the side of the NFF before jumping into conclusions on any form of embezzlement. "We call for a probe and quickly too so that the credibility of football can be restored in Nigeria," Inyama said. He also spoke on the seeming division in the NFF board by denying any of such, saying all waring parties have been reconciled. "There's no form of division in the NFF. We have settled all the differences and we hop for a peaceful election next month. All interested parties are encouraged to participate as it will be a fair playing ground," he added. www.sl10.ng/news/articles/categories/south-africa/nff-board-dares-nigerian-government-calls-for-probes-into-finances/169821 |

tsirin: Propanga has its highest order. banning of opon imo for where. Omi komi has nothing to offer. returning of school to its owner. how many students can afford to go to private school now and what are the measure that will be put in place for those that can not afford it. personally I will challenge this Omisore to a debate. PHD holder indeed.I don't know if the thing is being withdrawn but it is true that it is full of errors. I was going through it one day, I want to test my ability in Islamic religion study(cos I did IRS in my secondary school days) I answered all the question. I was marked immidiately by the tablet, after seeing my score I clicked on the option to check the correct answers for the one's I missed. And there it was, I asked "WHAT IS SHIRK?" And I picked the option which says associating partner with the oneness of Allah. The tablet picked another thing I was like what it is happening is my brain becoming so dull? I checked a text book and my IRS note back then and my answer was correct. There so many others but can't remember the question. |

If you are hurt by the massive crowd, import people from Bayelsa, or your state! Those people are from four local government ,the Ede federal constitiency (Ede south,Ede North,Egbedore and Ejigbo) including atleast 72 people from from each of the 30 Local government in the state |

doncaster: Is this the only building around that area? Why did the wind chose that particular building? You are a disgrace to unilorin for making the wind statement.STAMPED ,he has run away from this thread since marni which is unlike him despite many people quoting the foool |
saxywale: Dude... You should know better than the wind story you are trying to pass on. It's a failure caused by engineering factors. They won't think like that nao cos it wouldn't paint APC in a good light |
World football governing body FIFA have maintained they will refrain from any contact with any persons outside the elected Nigeria Football Federation executive committee and as such will not receive the country’s delegation in Brazil to resolve the vexed issue. The delegation is believed to include a former CAF executive, several top sports ministry officials, three NFF board members and some FA chairmen. AfricanFootball.com can exclusively reveal that FIFA in a letter dated July 8 and addressed to Lawrence Katken and signed by FIFA secretary general Jerome Valcke read in part: ”FIFA will now refrain from communicating with any other parties than the duly elected NFF officials which are the NFF President Aminu Maigari and the NFF General Secretary Musa Amadu.” “Going by this letter, the delegation are only in Brazil on holidays and possibly to watch the final of the World Cup between Argentina and Germany at tax payers’ expense,” an official told AfricanFootball.com FIFA further said in the letter that decisions taken at the extraordinary congress staged on Saturday, July 5, are null and void. The government delegation are in Brazil “to give a true picture” of what is happening in Nigerian football. They argued that it was not Katken who convened the general assembly, but Effiong Johnson, who is on the board of the NFF. However, the statutes of the NFF, which have been duly endorsed by FIFA, stipulates that only the NFF president has the power to call a congress and where he fails, two-third of the congress will notify the president of the need for such a congress and if he fails to do so within 60 days, they have a right to then do so. FIFA have demanded that the elected NFF and all their machinery be reinstated before July 15 or a replacement team for the country’s U20 female team will be named for the FIFA U20 World Cup, which kicks off in Canada on August 3. www.africanfootball.com//news/438486/Ban-FIFA-say-they-wont-receive-Nigeria-delegation |
Zionope: U're biased in ur judgement, the state government have not accused anybody yet, experts are still looking for d cause, and what would u have done urself if u are to act on the report that says there was a bang before d collapse of the building? The Director of publicity, Research and Strategy of the All Progressives Congress, Mr. Kunle Oyatomi, accused the Peoples Democratic Party of being behind the collapse. He said, “I can tell you this categorically that the PDP sabotaged the structure. Investigation is going on.” But the Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Mr. Bola Ajao, denied the allegation. He said it was unfortunate that the school building collapsed. Ajao said, “They are driven by what they will gain from everything. They used substandard products and now they are blaming it on PDP.” |
salaksmana: Thanks, but why attacking the OP, this was the article he copied http://www.tribune.com.ng/news/top-stories/item/10253-osun-mega-school-building-collapses-2-injured and no reason was stated in that link. It was the punch link that mentioned wind.Thank you jare bro,I was trying to modify my post to include the source after seeing that the link wasn't there but MTN network mysteriously disappear. I I Don't think the fool @neyoor (with green lizard brain upstairs)even read the whole story that I posted cos tribune was mentioned in the second paragraph, rather than read properly he was looking for a way to exonorate is paymaster by attacking my personality |
Neyoor: It is clearly stated in the source that it was caused as a result of heavy wind tha blew that day.You are really crazy for calling me stupid and senseless. Tribune was my source not the punch cos that where I saw the news first. You can check tribune website to see if any change was made by me. I don't blame you sha, you are an APC supporter and that what you people usually do framing post, you people even frame up your fellow human being. Stupid fellow |
There was tension in Ejigbo, Ejigbo Local Government Area of Osun State in the early hours of Wednesday when one of the newly constructed buildings in a mega school located in the ancient town suddenly collapsed, leaving two people critically injured. Nigerian Tribune authoritatively gathered that the incident, which occurred at Ajoda area around 6.05 a.m., threw the community into confusion following a loud bang when the building, which is the main hall of the newly completed school, caved in. Reacting to the development in a statement, the Director, Bureau of Communications and Strategy to Governor Rauf Aregbesola, Mr Semiu Okanlawon, said the government regreted to inform members of the public about the incident of the collapse of the main hall of the newly completed ultramodern High School, Ejigbo.” According to the statement, “information at the disposal of the government indicates that the main hall, which had been completed along with other classrooms of the school, came down at about 6.00 a.m. on Wednesday, after a loud bang was heard by those who were within the hall and others within the vicinity of the project.” It continues that “as a responsible government, it is too early for us to say what the exact cause of the collapse is until we have full investigations and advice of professionals. “However, it must be stated here that all necessary quality assurance tests were carried out to ensure structural durability and integrity of the project, just as in all other projects under this administration.” While assuring that engineers from the Osun Ministry of Works and engineers from the Structural Engineering section of the Nigerian Society of Engineers had been dispatched to the site to establish the real cause of the incident, the statement said there was no cause for alarm.” Reacting to the development, the Osun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of allegedly using fake and substandard building materials in the construction of model schools in the state. In a statement signed by the state party chairman of the PDP, Alhaji Ganiyu Olaoluwa, the party said “we described the situation as sheer wickedness, but also expressed gratitude that no student was hurt in the incident.” When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of Osun State Police command, Mrs Folasade Odoro, confirmed the incident, saying that investigation was already ongoing over the matter. www.tribune.com.ng/news/top-stories/item/10253-osun-mega-school-building-collapses-2-injured

The building collapse ni o. |
FruityLass: The gods are yet to speak.Lol |
FruityLass: Am from Modakeke in Osun. Mostly are the roads are in bad state...all we saw then was Akeredolu visitation promising us to re-construct the roads without fulfilling it.So who are you voting for. |
maasoap: All these things are things one can easily verify, just get a newspaper in which monthly allocation was published. Osun state monthly allocation stands at an average of N3.5 billion but FG is deducting about N900 million naira monthly. At the bottom of the newspaper, you will see the purposes for which the money is being deducted, such as fertilisers, water project and other counterpart fund deduction. You know, I do pay attention to all these things because that's why I'm educated. Now let me tell you why the noise, the deduction is legal but FG may decide which states should be given grace and which states should be deducted. For Lagos state, the deduction average N2billion monthly. |
Zionope: He didn't pay because they lost Ekiti, he paid when d federal allocation for the month of may arrived, the head of the civil servant said it. What is even the noise about d civil servant all about? Is the government not responsible for other inhabitant of d state that are not state civil servant? Y don't u talk about his intentions for the state as a whole? Don't u guys have ur own manifestoe? Leave this man alone, allow d pple to vote based on how their lifes has been affected. HabaList those good intentions he has after 4 years |
RedReact: Thank you Bash92 for your expatiation.Don't know but the governor said its been reduced. If truly its been reduced I believe he should have gone to court like someone said on a thread yesterday. That Amaechi sue the FG when same thing happens in River state. |

RedReact: Thank you Bash92.The man said and I quote ''I want to tell you boldly that am a local govt worker in osun and Aregbesola is not owning us a single penny, all salaries paid (June paid last week) so the local govt workers have no problem with him in any way and we are ready to support him.'' He didn't say he wasn't oweing them before last week,he just said he as balance them up.As at today he has payed all the money he owed workers don't know about OYES and pensioners. Its not even like Aregbe is owing them before let me explain.... You work in MAY and may end no salary, first week of june no alert, second week nothing too, third week some were payed, 27/28/29 all were payed. You see why wouldn't the workers be angry. The man I quoted above as a local government worker is usually paid on the 2nd week of the following month. I know this cos I av an aunty who worked as a local government in EDE south and when she see alert of the payment of salary,if am around its me that will help her to go and withdraw the money from ATM. On the second part, I didn't hear it with my ear him calling workers names, but the teachers are saying them that, but he did called penioners 'dead people alive'. He said and I quote "I haven't paid people living(workers) talkless of paying dead people(pensioners)" He said this while reacting to the protest of the pensioners. |
RedReact: Now, I don't know which is true again. Some say workers are being owed for ages while others say it is a lie. Which one is true or false now? They are being owed before but as soon as Ekiti election dawn on them they have settled all workers being owed, Aregbeshola even pay june salary before the month of june end(Oyinlola style:Never owe worker there salary through out is tenure). The fear of workers in Osun state is the begining of wisdom for Aregbe. |
Getting close. Thanks for the updates |
