Ajibam:
I pity students in the public school, no 1st term examination, 2nd term is not feasible too.
So true, although the teachers didn't go on strike during the first term. They were going to school for going sake because they were not teaching the students and they didn't conduct any exam for the student. This second term also I don't thing there will be any exam for the student in public school.
The reason they were not teaching is not even because of the unpaid salaries but because the government is not paying grant for schools to buy chocks and other things needed for the running of school.

PoliticsRe: APC Loses Again In Ekiti, Tribunal Upholds Fayose's Election As Governor by Bash92(op): 9:33am On Dec 20, 2014
iamtocorrect:
SMH for you, i can see you are shortsighted in your analysis, Buhari under CPC in d last election won 12 states, ACN didn't really contest that presidential election because they knew they would not win and to show buhari that him and his party alone cannot win the presidential election. The bitter lesson that Buhari later learnt. APC is now formidable, the only state that APC may not be able to capture in SW comes Feb 14, 2015 is Ekiti state (mystate) because of Fayose factor (rigger and turgery). Remove Fayose factor pdp will not capture ekiti. So when you are doing critical analysis, look at the facts before you.
So Apc will win in Ondo abi? This question is to everybody, please is accord party nd labour party presenting any presidential candidate ? If not Jonathan is winning in Oyo state too. APC is going to lose woefully in Ekiti and Ondo that very sure. Even if Jonathan lose in all the remaining south west state he will at least have 40 or 35percent of vote except in Lagos where he may lose woefully too.

PoliticsAPC Loses Again In Ekiti, Tribunal Upholds Fayose's Election As Governor by Bash92(op): 2:13pm On Dec 19, 2014
The APC case was dismissed because of lack of evidence to prove to the tribunal that the election was rig. Source: AIT news

The Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja on the Ekiti State governorship election has dismissed the petition filed by the All Progressives Congress, APC, challenging the declaration of Mr. Ayodele Fayose of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, as winner of the election.

Fayose had defeated Dr. Kayode Fayemi in the June 21 Ekiti governorship election but while Fayemi, who was the incumbent accepted the outcome, his party – APC – rejected it and approached the tribunal to have the election nullified.
Chairman of the tribunal, Justice Mohammed Ibrahim-Siraju, who dismissed the petition on all grounds, pointed out that the petitioner failed to substantiate the allegations with evidence.

The APC had, among others prayers, demanded that the election of Fayose be nullified because it was heavily militarized and that its officers and members were arrested, molested and detained during the election.
It also claimed that Fayose was not qualified to have stood for the election in the first instance, having been indicted by a probe panel and impeached during his first term in office for breach of code of conduct.

But Justice Siraju, in his judgement that lasted over four hours, held that the petitioners failed to prove all the allegations raised against the governor.

PoliticsGuinea: Robbers Mistaken Cooler Of Blood With Ebola For Money by Bash92(op): 8:26am On Nov 22, 2014
Armed bandits in Guinea have stolen a batch of blood
samples infected with the deadly Ebola virus which were
being delivered to a test centre, the Daily Mail of UK
reported.
The robbers held up a minibus near the town of
Kissidougou which was transporting the samples from
central Kankan prefecture to the test site 165 miles away in
southern Gueckedou.
The blood was stored in a sealed cooler and was being
escorted by four Red Cross officials. It is believed the
bandits had no idea what it was they were stealing and may
have thought there was cash hidden inside the cooler.
Guinea authorities publicly appealed on national radio to
the unidentified robbers to hand over the stolen samples
that are understood to have been taken from a single
person.
The theft underscores how hazards abound and hiccups
remain in the aid response, despite millions of dollars’
worth of international support pouring into West Africa to
fight a virus now responsible for more than 5,000 deaths.
Guinea Red Cross press officer, Faya Etienne Tolno,
explained that the Guinea Red Cross did not have its own
vehicles for transport, which explains why a taxi was
commissioned.
“We don’t understand why they stole the blood sample.
Perhaps they thought there was cash hidden in the flask,”
Tolno said.
Dr. Barry Moumie, who heads patient care for the national
Ebola response coordination committee, told The
Associated Press: “We have informed the security services.
If these thieves handle this blood, it will be dangerous.
“I can assure you, however, that the sample-transportation
procedures will now be strengthened to avoid such
disappointments,” he said.
Ebola, which has killed more than 5,000 people in Liberia,
Sierra Leone and Guinea, is spread primarily by contact
with infected bodily fluids including blood, faeces and
vomit. www.tribune.com.ng/crime/item/22239-robbers-in-guinea-attack-van-they-thought-was-carrying-money-but-instead-found-cooler-of-blood-containing-ebola
