My first question for u is why do u wanna go into I.T?
There are several fields in I.T, which one do you intend going for?
I.T requires passion, interest, focus anf lot of studying/practise are u prepared for that?
I.T Certification is necessary and a little bit capital intensive, are you willing to make such sacrifice?

kudos to those that saved below 50k and extra kudos to those that saved above 50k, while in service cos it will surely come to good use after service year.

i see some people critising others that saved. its very wrong. if they deprieved themselves of good life, babe, good clothes, good phones just cos they want to have some tangible after service to keep them going. then u critics r wrong

YES 19800 + state allawee is not enough for an average youth monthly. but if u deprieve yourself of irrelevant spending/things you can save.

DANGOTE, TRUMP, BUFFET,JOBS,WAYNE all saved and didnt spend stupidly cos they are rich. they invested the money they would have spent having a good time on important things.

some corpers rather spend 70k on a phone than spend 70k on a biz that will fetch 10k monthly.

during my final year i decided to improve my skill in I.T. Started studying networking. took some exams. Wrote my final paper June. Got a job with a big telecom in July with no test or interview. during my service year i got offers every month from different companies. after service i had 3 interesting offers. All because i improved myself and managed my time wisely.

Problems of a Nigerian graduate.
1. bad networking
2. bad reading culture
3. laziness
4. believing in failed promises
5. bad communication skills
6. greed. (asking for more than what you can offer)
7. Believing God will do it. ( you need to do something as well)

7) Be very clear on why you applied for the role and what immediate and long term value you will bring... Focus less on what the company
can do for you, but more on what you can do for the company. Be ready to explain this in a logical way.
For some people, practice questions may be helpful. Ask a friend to ask you some relevant questions and try answering.
9) Find out if other people have been interviewed for the role and what sorts of questions they were asked. Its amazing what you can
research online. However, leave room for flexibility as sometimes, questions or interviewers may change.
10)Familiarise yourself with any instruction given. It is interesting that people still come late to interviews or even miss it completely
because they got the date/time wrong.
