Among these texts, the saying of the Prophet صلَّى الله عليه وسلَّم: “Do not have intercourse with a pregnant woman until she gives birth, or with one who is not pregnant until she has menstruated once” and the Prophet's صلَّى الله عليه وسلَّم saying: “It is not lawful for a man who believes in Allah and the Last Day to water what another has sown with his water (meaning intercourse with women who are pregnant); it is not lawful for a man who believes in Allah and the Last Day to have intercourse with a captive woman till she is free from a menstrual course or she gives birth” and the Prophet’s صلَّى الله عليه وسلَّم saying: “Do not have intercourse with a pregnant woman until she gives birth nor with a non pregnant until she is free from a menstrual cycle”

Annual leave in Civil service is the 30 working days (depending on your level) leave with leave bonus which you are entitled to.

Casual leave is the 7 days leave mainly for unforseen issue which you are not entitled to. It depends solely on the discretion of the management. You can only apply for your Casual leave after you've exhausted your Annual leave.

I don't know about leave in the private sector.

Shariah ruling is that Allah's Name is pronounced BEFORE SLAUGHTER. This is what I understood all my life. Exception that applies to eating meat (food) already prepared by Jews and CHRISTIANS is that, even though Quran says their foods are halal for us to eat, scholars said in as much as they follow their sharia (by saying God's name before slaughtering animal.

However, I heard recently that we can eat their food already prepared by saying "Bismillah". Jews seem to follow their halal guidelines though. It is called kosher. Kosher is another word for halal in their religion. They follow halal diets than Christians. So the former ruling is classical and more acceptable. The later ruling is an exception (absence of halal).

Let's get one thing straight. Haram and halal don't apply to non meat like pasta, beans, rice, gari etc. These are halal by default regardless of who prepared them. However, objection by antagonists is that even if their food is not meat but it is specifically prepared for their religious festivals like Hanukkah or Christmas it is Haram for muslims to eat it. I agree with this. But my point is that since they are your neighbors and they offer you food prepared for their religious festivals, this is a good gesture from them because you too offer them eld meals and they accept and eat.

So my concern is you should take their food but you don't have to eat it. And of course you can always eat it if you have no food to eat for survival. In this sense it is halal bcus survival supercedes everything else. Muslims must observe boundaries.

What do you have to say about how we relate with our Christian Neighbours here in the North, When ever they are celebrating Xmas they take their animals to Islamic abattoirs for slaughtering just so we can't refuse their Foods as they don't refuse ours?
