IamPatriotic:Know this - This town, Iworoko-Ekiti is the darkest town in Nigeria, known for nothing other than hatred towards non-indigenes. There's nothing to be called development in the town despite being the nearest community to Ekiti state University, EKSU. There's no single bank or viable hospital. Only a decade ago, tens of then UNAD students were murdered in this dungeon called Iworoko-Ekiti. Till date, their indigenes still oppress everyone including students. Rape is legalized in this town via a festival called 'odun epa'. They will now and then enter police station to beat up policemen. One baba Asape, an evil and wicked man controls their security network. Students are paraded Unclad every and then, their offences - dating their supposed girlfriends; refusing to buy dry gin for them; the funniest, calling them 'indigenes' that they really are. With all the beautification in those photos above, yhu can still notice their reagent putting on an earring which is totally wrong and unacceptable in Yoruba land. No reagent does that except in the movies. It pains me a lot to see Osibanjo in this community when ASUU is even on strike, this visit has no value since normal human beings(EKSU students) are not there... I only survived the town while there because they know me to be a prince from Ado community... Though I got dared but being a God-fearing and wise man, I overcame all |

Yes, I'm battling depression; heartbroken; and living on the low. It all started with Australian's refusal to grant me a visa back in may 2016. Reasons been that I don't intended to contribute anything towards the betterment of Australia after my intended apprenticeship ( period of ) stay, that I don't intend to work in Australia after the training program, that I stated "I'm doing this for my country, Nigeria" during a phone-in section I had with my interviewer from the Australian embassy in South Africa, where my application is forwarded to for consideration by the Australia teleperformance office in Onigbongbo and then that I should reapply in some six months, with the aid of an immigration lawyer from Australia, lol. Me wey dey Ajegunle wey never see inside OZ(AUS.) b4 ooo. All my dreams bar two, edu attainment and long life went down the drain with huge and significant spendings. Lisa, I swear we could have bought that 40ft IVECO container truck with those funds. I couldn't march forward, my dreams of 'sourcing energy from fruits' died. Now I'm just a motorboy working with a very nice northern who speaks only one English word - 'cigarette'..and I don't smoke. Journeying places and palaces around on a diesel-run engine...lol. As for Nigeria, how then did she treat me? Do I buy feeds for my three month old lil dog, Hazard first or I stock for myself with this 19k stipend? Life, o critical. Relief.................................I want this permanently. I wanna talk to someone |
I feel UNILORIN is better by far in terms of landmass, power/energy/light connection, academic prospects, corrupt practices, racial diversity, internet connectivity, prompt calendar and transport service within the campus among others. OAU and UNILAG got personalities and rich histories but I don't think these things best defines a great school |
