actually i support the writer , massob needs to support GEJ government or just stay clear. ijaws dey find who to blame for their problems ,thank God we  voted an ijaw man for president so they can solve their problem themselves.

Don't get me wrong brother and no need for the insults, this is just an arguments between enligthed people (i hope so). We the "core Niger Deltans" wants the Ikwerre's etc in the Niger Delta to admit that they are igbos so that we can put them where they belong. Peter Odili is igbo but he will assassinate you if you tell him that, most of these groups deny their igbo ancestry for reasons best known to them.

Of course its idol worship, that is why most of the Ijaw villages are dropping it thereby loosing the original culture gradually.

in rivers state alone out of the 23 local governments 12 are  igbo 6 are  ijaw and 4 are  ogoni with opobo mixed with igbo and ijaw people. with this statistics i wonder who will put who where they belong in nigerdelta.

Can somebody educate us on the history of the Ikweres and the Aniomas.How did they migrate to their present abode? Then we can take the argument from there.

they didn't migrate from anywhere, they are Aborigines of their land unless you want us to discuss human migration right from early man and how all group came to settle where they are now.

they used anioma to identify igbo town and local government areas carved into delta state as delta have other ethnic groups .(A) for Aniocha, (N) for Ndokwa, (I) for Ika-Igbo, (O) for Oshimili, M and A are common denominators found in the four original local governments. The coinage was made by the founding father, Chief Dennis Osadebay in 1951 and has since remained the preferred indigenous name by which the people collectively refer to themselves.

as for ikwerre they are one of the over 10 igbo groups in rivers state, they are the most popular, controversial and largest and most of the land in ph city axis belongs to them (amechi is ikwerre) with 4 local governments (ikwerreLGA, obia/akporLGA,PORTHARCOURT LGA and emohua LGA)

the onelga(ogbo,ndoni and etche) people are of ogbaru clan(peter odilli is from onelga) their brothers can be found in anambra too(atani,ohita,odekpe) and parts of imo.

thats what i heard in ph from the other ijaws from delta and bayelsa state region that call themselves the full blooded ijaws they also said the same situation can be found in opobo opobians are hybrid of igbo/ijaw/efik
maybe Ndelta can shed light on it besides boundry people have high tendency to be mixed

It will not be a good thing to stripe SS of its igbo groups,the SS tag can help us get things which ordinarily will not be possible,for example,okiro,the agunaechemba 1 of egbema was replaced by onovo as the IG of police,this would have raised eyebrows,but because okiro was supposed to be a "rivers man", nobody talked.
  We can always hide behind SS mask,to get double portion of things in this country,for all we know peter odili could be be the president of nigeria,but that will not stop us from demanding for an igbo president and shouting marginalization,afterall odili is a "rivers man".
Notice how ndiigbo was shouting marginalization when okiro was appointed ahead of onovo as the police IG,even though we knew that okiro is the "agunaechemba 1 of egbema"

thats exactly what am saying, double portion is good though it comes with a price of disunity at times.
