VoteOutPDPJona:
Fayose has committed several impeachment offences. But he and his supporters look like folks ready to die rather than been thrown out of power. Remember what happened in Rivers house of assembly (Evans Bipi et al). They will create a crisis that will force Abuja to suspend Ekiti HA activities likely beyond June 6. Alright let's wait and see. |

VoteOutPDPJona: Don't you think Fayose would mobilize his supporters in Ekiti against further attempts to impeach him... vis a vis inciting the masses against the 19 law makers OR even using the incoming members of Ekiti house of assembly who are his men to threaten the 19 anti Fayose law makers.
The new/incoming law makers, I strongly believe, will revert any decision made against Fayose by the current crop of Ekiti law makers.
ON A VERY IMPORTANT NOTE......
THE CHIEF JUDGE WILL LIKELY NOMINATE PRO FAYOSE LAW MAKERS TO INVESTIGATE IMPEACHMENT ALLEGATIONS AGAINST FAYOSE. YOU CAN GUESS HOW IT WILL END. Now back to reply your comment, Which supporters can stop impeachment that is back by constitution? if you were asked to go and face police with guns will you? |

Eluwilussit: Please, can you explain to me what GMB's popularity in the North is based on? Sheer religious and tribal sentiments, not based on any commonsensical achievement. That's a big problem.
All the same, Nigerians have finally giving him the desires of his heart. All we need is action. Change. We will all support him and by God's grace, he will perform beyond our expectations. I wish him well. You can deduce his popularity in North to the 2011 election, GEJ only win him in 2011 due to South West backing, but now the South West pitch their tent with GMB and you see what happen? |

Politics › Re: Moves To Oust Fayose Before May 29 Thickens by bashydemy(m): 1:53pm On May 17, 2015 |
Hotstew: It's not that hard right? But it was very hard to impeach amaechi even when the Mbu was the commissioner of police in Rivers State. The police at the state level are loyal to the governor.
Or is the case of Al Makura not fresh in ur brain? They notified the CJ to constitute a panel, he did but they were all Al Makura's friends. Why has the CJ not listened to the 19 Apc lawmakers? Watch and learn politics from Fayose.
Even if these pple are given access to the chambers, Fayose supporters will invade the place and disperse them. Police don't want to die for anybody o What is there for you to understand, Ameachi has the backing of majority of the lawmakers and they never make any plan to impeach him.. The people who make plan to impeach Ameachi are the 7 lawmakers of PEJ and Ameachi as the Governors swift in action and dislodge them and the NASS took over the River State HOA and that's why they could not go ahead. but in the Ekiti saga Fayose is fighting with the likes of 19 APC Lawmakers, OBJ,Tinubu,GMB so friend do the maths. |

Xetima: Please don't mind these political neophytes. You think impeachment happens on pages if newspapers. Constitutionally, the impeachment project has since detailed. The only actors who can do the dirty jobs are on Fayose's side. The worst that can happen is that the CJ constitute a panel of Fayose's loyalists and the 'Almakura's' type of impeachment project will play out. The 19 lawmakers will lose BIG TIME. If I am one of them, I will reconcile with Fayose and collect my allowance than lose all. If they lose, as it seems they would, their dismissal remain legal. hahaha wait and seem, this is the same way you guys are bragging that GEJ will win and you see what happen. and about Almakura remember he has the backing of the lawmakers. |

Politics › Re: Moves To Oust Fayose Before May 29 Thickens by bashydemy(m): 1:35pm On May 17, 2015 |
Mogidi: In the unlikely event Fayose goes, the new governor would still be faced with Fayose's men, all reps belong in Fayose's camp. Fayose has Ekiti back and front, he's the new Asiwaju of Yoruba land. hahaha sorry Oga, The new Governor will be his deputy and he will be given assurance under APC if he can cooperate with them, and about the new elected lawmakers they will comply in due time. |
Politics › Re: Moves To Oust Fayose Before May 29 Thickens by bashydemy(m): 1:23pm On May 17, 2015 |
VoteOutPDPJona: It will fail.... I see Fayose as a governor who will rather bring his state to it's knees rather than be impeached the second time. hahaha why can't he do the same the first time, hahha you funny sha, there are forces against Fayose which is 1.. Federal Govt under GMB from may 29 2.. The 19 APC lawmakers who have the contitutional right of impeaching a Governor. 3.. OBJ who he also insulted 3.. Tinubu who he also insulted 4.. Muazu the PDP chairman who he is also insulting for now.. So tell me how will he escape that? remember Nyako was impeached cos PDP could be able to garner support of 2/3 of the house, Also Ameachi keep his seat cos he could be able to take control of the house and have majority of the Lawmakers behind him... Now Fayose does not have this for now so he is a gooner and he know that himself and that's why he has been calling for peace talk. hahaha |
Politics › Re: Moves To Oust Fayose Before May 29 Thickens by bashydemy(m): 1:14pm On May 17, 2015 |
Hotstew: How do you intend to do that btw May 29th and June 6th? Buhari will change the Acting IG immediately at the swearing in grounds right? And he will change the commissioner of police in Ekiti too. How is Buhari going to influence the Chief Judge to constitute a panel when the Chief judge is a Fayose loyalist? He will remove him too right? Then I guess Buhari will remove/sack all the PDP members in Ekiti too. Oga to impeach a sitting Governors isn't that hard friend, Firstly this is a case of 19 lawmakers who have stong evidence against fayose, also fayose have been denying them entrance into the assembly chamber remember. So in this case after the swearing in of GMB the IG is answerable to GMB compulsory.. So there wont be any security to deny the assembly member from gaining entrance to the assembly complex for sitting as the IG will give instruction to the commisioner of Ploice in Ekiti directly for the lawmakers to have access and seat. about the Chief Judge he is also answerable to GMB and the chief judge of the federation and directive will be given immidiately if not for anything but for the insult Fayose give to GMB during campaign... So my friend Fayose is a gooner. |

The unimaginable margin can be "imagined" if you substitute Ekiti for Akwa Ibom or Rivers state, The election tribunal will do the needful. Oga forget Fayose is doing that cos he is still Federal backing of GEJ, will the likes of OBJ against him he is a gooner.. between may 29th and june 6th he will be gone. |

Fayose's case is a done deal, He is messing with OBJ someone who make him relevant.... Fayose's impeachment stamp the day GMB won the election as he will have no more Federal backing of GEJ.... According to the contitution, The lawmakers tenure wont expire until june 6 and they have enough days between may 29 to june 6 and according to the write up impeachment can be done withing 2 days so fayose is a gooner |

Eluwilussit: You are wrong. Very much so. Why didn't Buhari win Obasanjo, Yar'Adua and Jona in all the Northern states in the past? He's very much beatable in the North, though it has become more difficult now that he's the president. But make no mistake about it; if he fails to deliver, he's gonna be beaten by a better and younger candidate.
Again, your claim that Buhari plays god in the entire North, does not bode well for the northern people. No one person should hold an entire region in his grip. Power should be decentralized.
Anyway, let GMB do a good job. By 2019, God willing, his work will speak for or against him. As hard as it is, I want to believe that Jona was voted out because he failed us and not because he is from SS. 2019 will decide which path Nigeria will walk as a nation. hahha you are the one who is wrong, GMB is the most loved Politician in the North since 2003, Go check his past history on how he win from the North but was actually rig out cos those times he has no money to finance his campaign and also to get Agent to monitor his votes for him. But Nevertheless he still perform better in the North as a single man those times. The 2011 election was lost cos he still has no strong back, followers and money to run his campaign. Do you know how many states he travel to campaign in 2011? not up to 10 states and still he manage to pull almost 13million votes. so GMB is widely accepted in the entire North. Also remember PVC and card reader play some important role too. |
