Knowledge 4, i don't know much about the jehovah withness but for the catholics, i don't agree with your point. Penticostals,catholic,anglican, and all other jesus preaching,word teaching,tongue speaking christians can marry each other. But i advise they both attend the same church with their children.

@Bashy demmy, i would have you to learn from king solomon, before you go scattering your family and causing your children to hate you for the rest of their life. not because you forced them to a religion, but you seperated them from their mother or father. It's difficult to forgive. the truth is very powerful and working without it always ends in tragedy. since your wife is christian and you muslim allow your children to taste from both side. Let them go to church and also teach them the quran.i should not be saying this but i sense you are stubborn and confuse. When they grow, tjey would decide what religion thdy would practice. They might even help you become a stronger muslim or become a born again christian. Don't exert force or authority now, like your muslims brothers are advising you. You knew all this would come when you saw a beautiful christian babe and yoi opened you eyes and married her. Where there no muslim sisters then, abi you blind before? So now you want to convert her and you children by force. Is Islam all about force? Fashola that you are talking of allowed his wife to practice her religion and she allowed him practise his. Finally, that part of the quran that allows muslim men to marry chaste infidels!! man its complicated. I think you have to clerify seek understanding from your religious scollars or from Allah the purpose or intent.
Christian women and men should marry them selves and not marry unbelievers, but if you find your self in such a situation ( MARRIED TO AN UNBELIEVER) the Bible already clearified that. Check an ealier post by cgift or clerify your slf by asking your pastor or seaching the scriptures yourself.

Thank you so much for deols, Well i am trying so hard but the fact that i dont live in Nigeria with them is the problem here. I dont know what is going on why am not around. I called her last night and she tell me they are in church i feel so bad about this and am going to try and get everything settle this weekend Insha allahu.

LagosShia: if she likes,i think she can feel free to go to church.but she should not take the children with her.at least you should have agreed before marrying her that your children will practice islam,go to mosque (no church),have muslim names only,and attend muslim schools or at most non-religious schools.

if you are thinking of taking up another wife,that is good for her.but please dont abandon your children to her.make sure before you take up another wife,your children are not with her.take the children to wherever you are or let your muslim family members train them.if you take up another wife and your children are with her,she will not only succeed in sending your children to church, she will also succeed in manipulating them against you.she will make sure they hate you and your religion because you took up another wife and "abandoned" them (as she will mislead them to believe).

try to convince her that if she wants to be your wife and remain christian,christianity should not be practiced in your house and the children are muslims.she can be going to her church.that is her destiny she is following.

This topic concern me so much.. I am a Muslim got marry to a christian but she never want to embrace my faith. I have try so much things don't work out fine. My wife and kids are in Nigeria, I reside in a neighboring country, I do come home often but never been a happy man when ever i see my wife taking my children to church every Sunday morning. I plan to change there school to an Islamic school and also find a private Arabic teacher for them but my wife never agree with me on that and we have been having misunderstanding over this same issue and am in the process of taking another wife. an advice is needed here please.

N.B.. She has been asking me to take her to registry which i haven't for years cos my parents are against this too i think cos of the religion issue.

Machini: Well, my best April Fool record ws back in 2009. I called my Aunty very early in d morning and d following conversation took place:

My Aunty: good mornin

Me: Aunty I'v been tryin to reach my Mum n Dad since ystday all to no avail. Rite now I am @d EFCC office in Trans-amadi PH where I am being held for money laundry.

My Aunty: What! Jesus! Are u ok? What happened?

Me: I was @ d bank ystday to withdraw money dat my dad snt me d previous day, d cashier on chekin my account balance screamed, I asked him wat d problem was but he didnt say anything to me, he just asked me to wait, then he left and came bak with d branch manager som minutes later. The manager called me into his office and asked me wat I do for a living, I told him dat I ws a student. He then asked me wat 20Billion naira ws doin in my account. Since i sincerely knew nth bout d money I told him dat I had no idea how d money got there.

My Aunty: Jesus! Jesus!

Me: After a while they allowed me to withdraw d 3k I came for and as I was bout leaving d bank premises, a white bus arrived, with police men escorting d bus, I ws asked to enter d bus. I asked wat d matter ws, without anoda word they pushed me inside d bus and took me straight to EFCC office @trans-amadi.

My Aunty: (Panicking) Jesus! Jesus! So wat r dey saying now?

Me: They said they would transfer me to their headquarters in Abuja 2moro. Just help me and see if u can reach my dad or my mum, and hlp me convey d msg.

My Aunty: (Still in shock and panicking seriously) Ok Ok I will, chai! Wat sort of rubbish is dis now(almost crying now).

Me: Aunty dont worry evrything will b alrite, they said my time is up. Bye.

After a while my dad called me with serious vexing. He already knew wat I ws of capable of doin on April fool day,as he had once alredy been my victim. Lol
