These set of people(movement) feel that it is easier to put the blame on someone else than to take the time to reflect on their own behaviour and how they may have contributed to the problem,while some may feel that admitting that they are responsible for their own problems would be too embarrassing or shameful.
Additionally, some might simply not be aware of the ways in which they contribute to their own problems, and may need someone else to point out these flaws in order to see them.

Oneof the most common reasons to blame others include a desire to avoid responsibility, a need to preserve self-esteem, and a lack of awareness. Such a pity, self deceit!

I just laugh anytime I see anything about Tinubu drug case. The people alleging him of drug case are the most notorious in drug dealing in this country and all over the whole world. Tinubu is the president and will rule over u all whether u like it or not. As for peter obi, he is already a history.

The will of God may have gone either way, but it seems to have gone in favour of Tinubu.
Also, Tinubu does have a large number of supporters aka people. He was elected under the largest political party in Nigeria for now, spread across all parts of the country.
Of course other political parties didn't support him, as they all had their own candidates, so it's impossible for any candidate to be the will of ALL the people
My point is, that statement can be spinned in anyway irregardless of how the election turned out- whether Tinubu won or lost.

Nobel Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, has passed a damning verdict on the 2023 general elections describing it as one of the worst in the history of Nigeria.


He particularly condemned the attacks on non-indigenes in various states where violence broke out during the presidential and gubernatorial elections.

In an interview with ARISE NEWS, yesterday, Prof Soyinka described the violence that dogged the election as disgraceful and shameful.


He said the polls fell below the expectations of many Nigerians who had hoped for a more credible, free and fair process.

Soyinka observed that prior to the elections, he had proposed that the established candidates made way for infusion of a younger generation into politics so as to allow “fresh blood” and bring in new and revived thinking for the betterment of the nation.

The Nobel Laureate clarified the type of structure he would like the country to operate, saying its decentralisation would allow each of the various arms down to the grassroots level perform their duties independently.

Soyinka also accused the media of jeopardising public discourse by taking a stance in reporting political matters rather than objectively putting out news for public analysis, especially regarding the statements made by the vice presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Datti Ahmed.

Soyinka condemned him for making statements that he deemed menacing and could incite national discord.

Wole Soyinka crîtîcîzed the whole election process, all what u mentioned (I don't want to copy all) he said Datti shouldn't threaten d media and 0bid!0ts took it personal and started attàckiñg him, now u are painting a picture of where Wole Soyinka didn't talk about the negatives in d election rather than talking about Datti.
