I really applaud oyo state, they are improving...They should have reach the height of lagos but due to the omo onile attitude in them they turn any opportunity of investment down...anyone who lives in oyo will know this

I was told when awolowo was building the first modern stadium in africa,liberty stadium,in ibadan.Ibadan people were like "Awolowo fe fi ogbon gba ile wa fun awon ijebu"meaning Awolowo wants to cunningly snatch our land for ijebus"......and when he was building cocoa house,they were like "owo ti o ye ki a ma pin ni awolowo fi n ko ile gogoro"....meaning,Awolowo is using the money we supposed to share among ourselves to build skyscraper!

Are people willing to pay high airfare to fly out of that city or is it a leisure market where people save up their money in order to fly. So the fact that more air carriers ply lagos routes doesnt mean federal goverment mandated them, it means people have more reasons to ply the state
State goverments should create reasons for foreigners to use there state, eg after apkabio built the uyo stadium Visitors increased

How can states attact foreign investment when the federal government OVER LORD over the states dishing out stipend in the form of federal alllocation to them.

All this mushroom of states that were created by the military government should be scrapped and replaced with 6 or more regions.

In regions, the weak states will be revitalised by the stronger part and we will not be facing this slump in growth.

Take for example, Warri seaport is dead thanks to the federal government that placed more empasis on the Lagos seaport and the Onne Port in River states.

This is not supposed to be. If the federal government can not run port.
