U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) encounter data for the last six months (October 2024–March 2025) along the southwest border, based on available information from CBP and related sources, is as follows. The data includes U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) apprehensions between ports of entry and Office of Field Operations (OFO) inadmissible encounters at ports of entry. Note that exact figures for some months may be incomplete or preliminary, and numbers reflect Title 8 apprehensions and inadmissibles, with Title 42 expulsions no longer applicable after May 2023.

October 2024:
USBP: ~56,000 encounters (approximate, based on CBP’s reported trend of low encounters post-June 2024 Proclamation).

OFO: ~3,500 inadmissible encounters (estimated from February 2025’s 3,362, given a slight increase in early FY2025).

Total: ~59,500 encounters (approximate).

November 2024:
USBP: ~50,000 encounters (estimated, reflecting a continued decline from October, aligned with CBP’s reported 60% decrease from May to December 2024).

OFO: ~3,400 inadmissible encounters (estimated, consistent with low OFO numbers in early 2025).

Total: ~53,400 encounters (approximate).

December 2024:
USBP: ~40,000 encounters (estimated, based on CBP’s note of November and December being the lowest since August 2020).

OFO: ~3,300 inadmissible encounters (estimated, slightly below November’s trend).

Total: ~43,300 encounters (approximate).

January 2025:
USBP: 29,101 encounters (reported by CBP).

OFO: 32,346 inadmissible encounters (reported by CBP, reflecting a higher OFO figure before a sharp drop in February).

Total: 61,447 encounters.

February 2025:
USBP: 8,347 encounters (reported by CBP).

OFO: 3,362 inadmissible encounters (reported by CBP).

Total: 11,709 encounters.

March 2025:
USBP: 7,181 encounters (reported by CBP).

OFO: ~673 daily average, equating to ~20,790 encounters (based on 31 days, reported by CBP).

Total: ~27,971 encounters.

Notes:
Data Sources: Exact figures for January, February, and March 2025 come from CBP’s monthly updates. October to December 2024 figures are estimated based on CBP’s reported trends of significant declines (e.g., 55% decrease in encounters between ports of entry from June to November 2024) and fiscal year summaries.

Context: The sharp decline in encounters from October 2024 to March 2025 reflects enhanced enforcement measures, including the June 2024 Presidential Proclamation and increased patrols with Department of Defense support.

Limitations: Estimates for October–December 2024 are approximate due to incomplete monthly breakdowns in available data. Totals may not reflect unique individuals, as recidivism (repeat encounters) can inflate numbers.

Verification: Official CBP data is subject to revisions, and final statistics are typically confirmed at the end of the fiscal year (September 30, 2025).

For the most precise and updated figures, check CBP’s Stats and Summaries webpage or the Southwest Land Border Encounters dashboard.

Now you are engaging facts. I don't mind people being on the other side of the debate, as long as you engage facts. Good question, who will buy $800bn worth of bonds if the UK dumps it? Nobody!!! And this is why I said in my response "for argument sake"

I am not advocating for the UK to do this. There would be huge economic repercussions of we were to try. But Dayo is saying that we could if we wanted to. And that's just nonsense talk.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
But let's say Trump wants to strong-arm the UK, Japan, and Luxembourg (notice I keep excluding China from this discussion) into a devaluation of the dollar, that is essentially a default. Meaning, sorry your $800bn is now worth less than it was, and your annual $36bn is now worth less than it was.

Apart from what the US will do itself by even going near this topic (yields going up), I don't expect Kier Starmer to sit back and take it. He needs to fight back, and use every tool at his disposal, including threatening to dump it all, even if it means the UK will suffer for it. Because,

1. Eroded trust...... You cannot trust Trump and his cronies (or another Trump in the future) to not want to devalue further.
2. We don't want to end up like Japan after the Plaza accord with a massively devalued Pound, and a lost decade of growth.
3. Why should we accept a default at all?

So yes, threaten to dump it, even if to spite Trump. If you want rational dialogue, then ask nicely, like Regan did at the time.

In the larger debate, there's far more to consider about the consequence of such, and what the likes of Japan and China will do, if the UK were to get the balls to want to dump all. It signifies to everyone that US bonds are now worth phuck all, and that's the end of US borrowing. Do you understand what it means if the US can no longer sell its bonds to anyone?

But you guys think this is inconsequential analysis, and even worse, that 77.3m ** thought this completely through in their support for Trump even before voting. That's abject fallacy!

Apple can make it's American made iphone in America and sell it there, and from its Chinese plant, sell to the rest of the world If the problem is manufacturing cost, why not ship every factory to Laos or Shenzhen.
Tesla is manufacturing in America and getting buyers too,
When people mock red states for lower minimum wage , effectively they want $50 hourly wages across the board, which will send all factories to China.
Tell me why it's important all factories should be in China.

You are the one who keeps coming back with the 78m talk. You want to inject a huge number to the discourse to bolster your position. If 78m voted, surely they are all not dumb. This is your pattern of thinking. A huge percentage of those 78m are conservatives. Mostly conservatives vote on ideology, not on facts. So yes, 78m people could be largely wrong on many issues. But I digress, as that's not the centre of this debate.

My problem was with you. You particularly. You casually said any country can choose leave the dollar as reserve currency. You said that with the lack of knowledge that the strength of the dollar is underpinned by the number of countries that buy US bonds. This is the same currency you hold a huge portfolio in. A few weeks ago, you were spelling PROSPERITY in caps. But it is now apparent, that you don't understanding what makes this prosperity even possible.

You called countries that sustain US borrowing, which in turn keeps your internal interest rates steady "inconsequential" ..... but you invest in property. This means you don't understand that if (for argument sake), the UK, Luxembourg and Japan were to dump all their US dollar debts (as you proposed), your interest rates are immediately affected, which immediately bumps up the cost of credit in the US, which immediately affects you.

So the question is, is the UK really inconsequential as you claimed... or are you just regurgitating the nonsense you heard at the Trump rallies? Did you know that the actions of the so-called inconsequential can have a direct impact on inflation and interest rates in the US? No you didn't. Because if you did, you will shut your MAGA brain down and engage FACTS!

On the other hand, if my country were to be forced by the US into a situation where they had to dump US debt, that affects me personally as a business man. So you have little understanding of what your talk about, when you tell me that I have no interests in following and commenting passionately about the issues.

I haven't even mentioned the effects on Oil, Gas, or geo-political concerns.

The summary of this is that only an uninformed voter will come to the conclusion that some countries are inconsequential to the US, when said countries are directly responsible for the strength of the dollar that builds your wealth. Only an uninformed voter.
Why would UK dump the debt, was my question. It doesn't have good returns or to punish Trump?
If it's about bad returns who will buy a massive $800B of debt knowing the dollar will crash any time.
In other words ,you hold America debt. You are stuck with it, you not selling it to noone.
The UK earns around 4.42% yield from the 10 year US Treasury Bonds . That works out to $36B annually.
The UK will just dump this golden goose to spite Trump.

Netherlands sperm donor conundrum

Over a year ago, the Netherlands reported numerous sperm mega-donors within the country, leading to fears of accidental incest. The number of these mega-donors seems to keep growing, with the Dutch Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology (NVOG) now admitting at least 85 men have fathered 25 or more children. The most infamous Dutch sperm mega-donor is Jonathan Meijer, who is believed to have over 1,000 children and was the subject of a Netflix documentary last year.

The brutal animal who was freed by a very "compassionate" judge.

Bondi Vows to Prosecute Judges Who Obstruct Trump Admin’s Deportation Efforts

She emphasized that these judges would face prosecution for their involvement.
Pam Bondi explained that the defendant, who was in court facing charges for domestic violence, had been involved in a violent attack on two individuals, as Breitbart News reported.

The victims were severely beaten—one man was hit 30 times, choked, and knocked to the ground, while the woman sustained severe injuries, requiring hospitalization.

Despite the brutality of the crimes, the victims were willing to cooperate with the state prosecutor, and they were present in the courtroom during the proceedings.

However, the case took a disturbing turn when the judge learned that ICE officers were outside the courthouse, waiting to detain the defendant, who had been deported in 2013 and returned illegally.

Upon hearing this, Judge Dugan allegedly left the courtroom, went into the hallway, and confronted the immigration officers, visibly upset.

She then instructed them to leave and meet with the chief judge, returning to the courtroom afterward....judge took the defendant and his defense attorney aside, using a private exit to allow them to leave, effectively allowing the criminal to evade ICE arrest, leaving the victims and the prosecutor behind.

There have been more than 60 coordinated attacks on Tesla have resulting in an estimated $20 million in personal property damage and over $460 billion in market cap.

One of the most radical groups behind this domestic terrorism movement is The Disruption Project.

Well they are funded 💯 by the Tides Network. They even share the same floor in the same building.

The prominent donors who fund Tides are David Rockafellor Jr., George Soros and Susan and Nick Pritzker. Which means they are the prominent donors of The Disruption Project. Which means they are the architects of the Tesla Protests.

Again, sounds like a good RICO case.

1.)You probably haven't been to a US courthouse.<sarcasm> You aren't getting in the courthouse without going through tight security. These aren't free flowing places with multiple entrances/exists.

2.) The criminal complaint seems to be very contradictory. They didn't want to arrest him in the courtroom but spoke to the courtroom deputy. I don't think ICE should have any business doing that unless they have a judicial warrant.

There is no need to involve the deputy of the courtroom if they wanted to make this arrest as if the deputy was helping them to facilitate the arrest.

3.)But they still say that the individual was seen in a public place in the courthouse and in fact there was an agent on the elevator with him. Why didn't the agents make the arrest when he got off the elevator or even prior?
They could have arrested him. Before he got to court, they wanted to do zo in an orderly manner.
CNN is not with you on this, .....

CNN’s crime and justice correspondent Katelyn Polantz acknowledged that the government has a legitimate case.

“It’s unusual, but it’s not unprecedented,” she said, recalling a similar case from 2019 where a Massachusetts judge was charged for helping an illegal immigrant escape ICE agents. Polantz made it clear that federal prosecutors were serious this time: “The attorney general wants to make an example of this. And boy, are they.”
CNN senior legal analyst Elie Honig stripped away any partisan fog. “Looking at the complaint, let’s strip the politics out of it. This is a crime,” Honig declared. He laid it out simply: “This judge—let's—let's strip the Trump of it all out. Let's strip the immigration of it all out. Let's say law enforcement shows up at a building with an arrest warrant. They’re looking for person A. Person B then says, ‘Hey, there’s a secret escape door out back,’ and ushers them out. That is textbook obstruction.”

Susan Rice: “Well, if you’re a white male Christian cisgender macho MAGA man, you can be as dumb as a rock and be deemed qualified to serve as Secretary of Defense. That’s apparently what we’ve learned from this episode.

But let’s also be clear, there’s a serious point here. DEI has been used as a slur to suggest that anybody who might be a woman, might be a person of color, might be a religious minority, might have a disability, might be a religious minority, might be a veteran of Native descent, anybody who has benefited in any way, shape, or form from the notion that we all should be treated equally and that we should be viewed on the basis of our merits and not discounted because we happen to be a woman or happen to be a person of color. Anybody who fits the mold of somebody who is not a white Christian cisgender male, is by definition in this administration deemed inferior. That is the vast majority of the people in this country.”

As a black woman she did the rounds on major TV networks lying that the Benghazi consulate attack that killed the ambassador and later 2 former marines was spontaneous and caused by some obsure video that had 20 views in YouTube. at the time she was just the Ambassador to the UN to lie about a matter that was not on her docket.

So, I'm not reflexively "whatever a judge does is right" and do believe in obeying the laws.
But, I can see real issues with this, the worst being The Executive branch using administrative warrants in courtrooms thereby putting the imprimatur of the Judicial branch on the arrest. How does a judge know that the warrant is on the up and up?

I agree with the Massachusetts policy. And if she was trying to get them to make the arrest outside the courtroom, but inside the courthouse, I not only don't see anything wrong with what she did, I think she did the right thing.

I am interested in seeing how this plays out.

On or about April 17, 2025, an authorized immigration official found

probable cause to believe Flores-Ruiz was removable from the United States and issued a warrant
for his arrest. The warrant provided, “YOU ARE COMMANDED to arrest and take into custody
for removal proceedings under the Immigration and Nationality Act, the above-named alien
[Flores-Ruiz identified on warrant].” Upon his arrest, Flores-Ruiz would be given a Notice of
Intent/Decision to Reinstate Prior Order. He would then have an opportunity to contest the
determination by making a written or oral statement to an immigration officer.
9. The Milwaukee ICE ERO Office was aware that on April 18, 2025, Flores-Ruiz
was scheduled to attend a hearing in his criminal case. The hearing was set to take place in
Courtroom 615, in front of Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge HANNAH C. DUGAN. Based
on the above information, on April 18, 2025, members of the Milwaukee ICE ERO Task Force
traveled to the Milwaukee County Courthouse, with Flores-Ruiz’s arrest warrant in hand, for the
purpose of executing the warrant.
10. I am aware that law enforcement routinely executes warrants and makes arrests in
the public areas of buildings such as the Milwaukee County Courthouse. The reasons for this
include not only the fact that law enforcement knows the location at which the wanted individual
should be located but also the fact that the wanted individual would have entered through a security
checkpoint and thus unarmed, minimizing the risk of injury to law enforcement, the public, and
the wanted individual. As such, members of the Milwaukee ICE ERO Task Force developed a plan
to arrest Flores-Ruiz in a public area outside of Courtroom 615 following his scheduled criminal
court appearance before Judge

They were not arresting him in the courtroom. Public area.
Stop your lies.

Being curious where the line is, I looked up Massachusetts procedures and found this.
