Ukraine wanted to join the EU, Russia took Crimea. So I don't blame Ukraine for wanting to join Nato. Both sides got off on the wrong foot and the west, EU and the zombie Biden were pouring gasoline to the conflict by supporting Ukraine to fight the war and not giving them enough to hold their grounds. So many dead, Russia is slowly taking grounds at a very high cost and that's what the EU wants. A whole generation of Ukrainians are wiped out and no end in sight.

Russia on the other hand could be friends with the west but I don't understand why they don't want that. See the Korean war and Vietnamese war, it's a war of ideology, capitalism vs communism. You know whose side China and Russia take in those wars.
