I just read that one "first time offender", a certain Matthew Perna who was at the Capitol on J6 - for 4 minutes, and whose lawyer told him he will at most serve 6 to 12 months in jail committed suicide after the Joe Biden Justice Department used USC 1512c2 (a Enron era law) to charge the poor guy. He was told he will serve 20 years instead. He could not live with that. He took his own life.

This unjust application of the law on innocent citizens - more than 110 of them, have now been overturned by the Supreme Court of the US.
