who’s gonna pay for this war? How’s the budget overrun going to be covered?

Let me ask you and others the same annoying question you ask when it’s time to cater for needy citizens or the less privileged.
Iran masterminded the Beirut bombing where 241 US Marines lost their lives. Iran was responsible for a US warship attack
Iran was responsible for 604 deaths during the Iraq war ..

I won't talk about the havoc Iran (who shares no border with Israe) has caused the Jewish nation.

How much should a nation spend to ensure that state sponsor terrorist regime does not strike again? Give a decent figure, uiu can compute the cost of human lives wasted.

Where do I start from? How much do you think the entire WW2 engagement cost the US?

Where and how did it get munitions from?
You are costing the tomahawks , carriers , stealth fighters and so on .

WW2 at one time was 36% of America GDP. Do the maths today adjusted for inflation.

Iran is fighting an army given all the leeway to win the war. Unlike in previous war , the politicians were stiffling the troops on the grounds with insane Rules of Engagement.
The international community can't say anything to Trump not while they are literally begging him to remove tariffs.
The Middle East nations supply oil worldwide without having a navy to talk of , because the US Navy Groups ensures the shipping lanes are open and safe. They cannot rely on Chinese who are only interested in getting cheaper crude and gas for their industries to out manufacture everyone else.

Iranians at home voices cannot be heard, there is a near total internet blackout Those in the diaspora are ecstatic the Ayatollahs are being decimated.
The liberals have sided with the regime as if they know better than Iranians.

A year? In terms of Iran's capability, that's a war of attrition. You guys don't pay attention to news from the other side. You are only paying attention to the bombings.

The US and Israel cannot sustain a war of attrition against Iran. It will become economically crippling for the US and Israel.

The US is already burning through $1bn a day executing this war on behalf of Israel. The economic cost to Israel alone is already estimated at $2.9bn in only 7 days. It is estimated to go upwards of $3bn a week, if current red restrictions continue. This is data from Israel's own Finance Ministry.

The US lacks an industrial base and supply chain to replenish munitions and advanced weapons systems quickly. You can thank decades of capitalism for that.

Unfortunately for the US, Iran does, and cheaply.

You guys have spent the last decade encouraging gaslighting, outright lying and "alternative facts" for political gain. The consequences are slow-rolling in a political hemisphere. The problem is that you lot are extending this tactic to war. In war, the cookies crumble very immediately.
The US is not running out of money to fight any war. Not now not ever.
Israel if it runs out of munitions will simply get more bombs from Uncle Sam. A ground war is expensive ,the US and Israel are only testing their aerial armaments.

Iran factories are being decimated one by one. It's only a matter of time before they can assemble a military wheelbarrow.

Look at the post above. You have no choice but to agree that common sense is a billion light years away from some folks.
As in, definitely not in this generation will them or any of their menage be able to put two and two together to make a logical conclusion about anything.

They are so hurt and bitter about Russia's own failed offensive that they want every nation to fail. I wonder who on earth said on this thread that Iran won't be able to fire a single missile. But of course, it is the characteristics of perennial losers to twist and turn facts so that they can at least have something to chew.

All your top leaders are dead, you can't even gather in one place appoint another for fear of Netanyahu's lurking missiles. Yet, this one is trying hard to paper over the cracks.
Even if the war was dusted off in three days, it is achieved. Ayatollah killed on day 1, former president killed on day three, important military commanders all killed within the first 3 days of war. What the US is doing right now is a mop up operation.

Meanwhile, Zelensky is still alive, moving free while Putin is hiding in bunkers. Putin can't even fly over any NATO country except with the permission of the president of the US. Operation take Kyiv im 3 days now in year 5. Even the planning and execution of Normandy landing didn't take this long?

You have supported failure for four years and counting. I have to start believing that you are the incarnate of failur.
They call me a troll because I called Putin army rag tag and no match for America. IDF can also whoop Putins army ,save for numbers.
Without air superiority, Putin will continue throwing more men into the meat grinder.
Russia has always won by use of massive artillery barrages. In Ukraine,he won't do that because he wants to win the civilians to his side, then rubberstamp the annexed territories via referendum.

If I be you, shame suppose dey catch me at this point.

You had the temerity to come here and blab how Iran won't be able to fire a single missile should Usrael attack them. You even dusted off the war in three days, yet one week later, Israel is burning, US bases and interests all around the ME are up in blazes.

Yet you've consistently done a volte-face on all your initial claims and are now salivating all over the thread with st*pid takes.

Just like the other clown who went to twitter to steal some hair-brained analysis about the lethality and supposed strategic importance of the aircraft carrier that was docked off Israel🤡.

Try go outside touch grass, Uncle three-days-decimation-of-Iran grin!
I misquoted myself about Iran not being able to fire a single missile.

Iran is not firing them willy nilly now, are they? That's what I meant , with total air superiority by USAF they will be firing a single one and running like hell to avoid being blown up. A ballistic launch is detected and triangulated within seconds of it being fired. It's only a matter of time they won't be able to fire any. As for drones that's another case, they will still continue firing ,it's said they still have thousands of expendable stocks.

Question is ,how long can the centre hold?
As of now Iran has no defence land ,air or sea worth talking about . Any war they can fight , is of attrition and terrorism.

🚨 TERROR IN MANHATTAN: NYPD Thwarts Shrapnel Bomb Attack on Protesters 📉🏙️

The "Zero Tolerance" era for political violence was put to the test today in NYC. The NYPD has confirmed the arrest of two domestic terrorists who allegedly attempted to massacre conservative protesters using homemade shrapnel bombs. This wasn't just a "smoke bomb"—this was a direct attempt at mass casualty.

According to NYPD officials, the attack was a coordinated effort to bring Middle Eastern-style terror to the streets of the Upper East Side.

18-year-old Amir Balat allegedly ignited a device and hurled it toward the crowd while shouting "Allahu Akbar." The device—packed with nuts, bolts, and screws—was designed to act as a fragmentation grenade.

After the first device failed to detonate, Balat reportedly ran to Ibrahim Nik (19), who handed him a second ignited shrapnel bomb.

The entire sequence was captured on NYPD Argus Cameras, leading to a swift takedown before the "hobby fuse" could trigger a tragedy. The Bomb Squad has since confirmed the devices were lethal jars wrapped in black tape.

The religion of peace brings love to New York.

I've been saying this over and over.

Saudi Arabia Draws Red Line: Iran Warned of Severe Consequences and Full U.S. Base Access

On March 7, 2026, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan delivered a blunt message to his Iranian counterpart in a high-stakes diplomatic call.

Saudi Arabia will not tolerate any further Iranian attacks on its territory or energy infrastructure. Any additional strike will be met with a decisive military response.

The Kingdom made clear it is prepared to grant the United States unrestricted access to all Saudi military bases if escalation continues.

The warning comes after a series of Iranian drone strikes, including one that targeted the Ras Tanura refinery complex, part of a wider pattern of aggression amid rising regional tensions.

Riyadh’s position is straightforward: cross this line again and face the full weight of Saudi and American military power.

No room for ambiguity. The Kingdom has drawn the line.

America will not need any boots on the ground after all.
Saudi Arabia actions will be followed by every other nation that's been attacked by those Ayatollahs. Iranians are cowardly bullies, this is not a war against Islam.

IDF destroyed 16 aircraft owned by Quds forces at the international airport used to handle overseas weapons transfer to Hamas, Houthis and Hezbollah.

Iran is being degraded. No air force, no Navy , no military bases will be left. .
They will be left with their underground missiles and drones only ..
Most launchers are being detected immediately they launch.

Many ignore Iran intentions to annihilate Israel and America. In Arabic, Quds is Jerusalem.
When a country has a Quds force incharge of arming Hezbollah plus Hamas, chants death to Israel plus America every Friday prayers and Iranians step on painted Israel and America flags before entering govt buildings, that should be a note of concern. Instead we have the west saying they don't mean to destroy Israel and America.

On Feb 27th the Israel defence chiefs spread photos of them going home to celebrate Shabbat ( I'm not sure ). They returned to the command headquarters in disguise a few minutes later.
Rubio had also said he'll visit Israel the following week. .
This lulled the Iranians into thinking no way an attack was imminent on that day , so Ayatollah Khamenei went ahead with his meeting .

I'm thinking the Iran President saying they won't attack the neighbors was a trick to the neighbors into thinking the attacks are over. Hardly was the message released than drone and missiles were flying to attack the same countries.
If it's a rift between the IRGC and the executive then that explains it sufficiently. I

The European left depends on America to guarantee their security while they spend all their money on social services.

They have good regional bases for staging Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Turkey, Diego Garcia, etc.

Iran miscalculation.

‎Arab States Deliver Stinging Rebuke to Iran at UN: Tehran's Missile Barrage Backfires

‎In a rare show of unity, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman stood together at the United Nations Security Council to condemn Iran's reckless missile and drone assaults on their territories. The attacks, launched in supposed retaliation for U.S. and Israeli strikes, began February 28, 2026, and have struck civilian areas and infrastructure across the Gulf.

‎Representatives branded the strikes "cowardly," "indiscriminate," and blatant violations of sovereignty, international law, and the UN Charter. Bahrain, speaking for the Gulf Cooperation Council, held Iran fully responsible and rejected any justification for the aggression. Saudi Arabia denounced the targeting of Riyadh and its southern provinces, extending condemnation to attacks on fellow Gulf states and Jordan. Kuwait, Qatar, and others echoed the outrage, describing the barrages as unjustifiable threats to civilian lives and regional stability.

‎Iran's gamble to intimidate its neighbors has instead deepened its isolation. By attacking multiple Arab nations hosting U.S. assets, Tehran has united longstanding rivals against it and invited stronger international backlash. The mullahs' strategy of escalation through terror has produced the opposite result: diplomatic isolation and a firm Arab front demanding accountability.

PM Starmer is spineless.

PM Starmer pandering to Muslim vote, blocked AMERICA from using all it's military bases to attack Iran. Pretended it was from the advice of Attorney General Lord Hermer who warned that supporting unilateral offensive action could breach international law and make the UK a "co-belligerent.

Iran attacked the RAF base in Cyprus , so he retracted partly.

Iran then closed the Str if Hormuz.
Lloyd's the largest marine insurer hiked their rates, then pulled out.
Trump asked the US IDFC to undertake the risks and pledged support via escorts through the straits using Navy Warships .
With that Lloyd's of London riskee using over 500 oil tankers who transit the straits. Common sense, once business went away it would nevér come back.

Starmer then allowed the use of UK and offshore bases for launching those " unilateral offensive actions that may breach international law".
Sheepishly he said UK will not engage in any offensive actions.
