That's the resistance. Like wires increase resistance with length. So the current you will get at the plant will be different from what you get at the location you want to use the power. But yeah... The current can be boosted
Power losses equals Current squared Times Resistance.
And also equals Volatage squared divided by Resistance.

And Power delivered is Voltage Times Current.

Money tip, reduce current as much as possible. increase the Volatage as much as possible. And use low resistance conductors like copper.

What loses, you know nothing about electricity. Stop reading stuffs far right websites. The power is converted to AC to minimize loss before being sent down the transmission line. While there are HVDC transmission, it's not very common and rare.
As per your rare metal.(lithium and cobalt), they are fully recyclable. Next.
You can generate electrical power in the deserts. Transporting it involves losses that increase with conductor length.

You use HVAC to backhaul. Losses are minimal because Voltage squared divided by Resistance minimises losses. You think one should step down Voltage and increase Current ?

I don't know about this. But I know fuel energy efficiency... Like only 30% is used and 70% is lost in heat and other process. Whereas electric cars used 90% of its power efficiently. Electric cars has better torque and acceleration compared to fuel. Cause it's just the motor connected to the power when fuel... A lot is involved. Like most if the energy is lost in the transmission system. The gears and friction
A moving vehicle expends nearly all energy to overcome friction from the surface and air.
I gave oil engines 55% , In reality they could be doing 30% efficiency.
The idea of a magnetically levitated train is borne of the idea that opposite poles of a magnet repel each other with a force that can be directed in the horizontal direction. You power the track and train electromagnets and the train floats albeit an inch or two overcoming the surface friction. A hypothetical hyperloop uses a vacuum in the tube and the force created by opposite magnetic poles for propulsion.
You damn need energy and it gorra be reliable, unlike using solar when there are clouds no power is generated. Or wind power, there is no wind no power.
Guys spend a hell lot of time planning on reliable wattage hours to deliver to electric consumers They work out when to shut production depending on time of the day In the evening everyone is cooking and expending a lot of energy. Another idiot is running is a welding machine which uses a lot of current leading to losses.
In electrical Power losses are
the square of current and resistance Zero resistance means zero waste, which is not possible. That's why power transmission lines operate at very high voltages to reduce the current carried.
A lot of details go into that.
Fossil fuels are here to stay, we make them efficient until we find out how to make conductors with zero resistance.
Then we can generate all power from deserts and haul it to places needed.
But liberals would rather use taxes to subsidize solar panels so anyone can. afford them during summer

This is oxymoron. Defeats the purpose of electric car. How can you use diesel generator to charge the car? You could as well buy an hybrid that uses fuel and battery and no need for charging stations

Chemicals cannot store the necessary energy needed for a lot of things. There will always be fossil fuel or we will need nuclear reactors. Nuclear reactors can work as steam engines or hotair engines (sterling engines) you can't have both on anything that is not close to water because they produce a lot of heat and needs cooling else you have meltdown and radiation leak
Why not just use fossil fuels to charge electric vehicles in order to please activists. Oil engines have typical efficiencies of less than 55%. Burn 100KW of fuel to produce max 55KW to power electric vehicles with less than 60% efficiency. Those are best case scenarios. Use 100KW to power EV which produces 33KW.
lunacy at it's best.

1. There have always been floods, heat waves and other phenomenons, however the intensity, rapidity and magnitude of it in recent times is becoming more of a concern which ofcourse is attributed to man's activities and carbon emissions overtime. There is nothing that happens in the world today that has not happened before, but when we see the same things happening like never before we must shrewdly get to the root cause.
Where is the evidence.
When was the thermometer to measure temperatures in the sea invented and recorded whether it's on those Egyptian scrolls or in PDF form.

Without Calif votes, Trump beat Clinton in popular vote count

Calif has been saying they want to secede, a decision they cannot pull on their own. With worlds 5th or 7th largest economy It would put a dent on the Fed tax income though. The leftists in Hollywood had said they would relocate to Canada among other nations had Trump won. None except Tom Hanks who moved to The Mediterranean made good their promises. Tom Hanks was a too close guest of Epstein, Qanon has it's ridiculous explanation for that.

Trump doing 46% is yuuge. Bigly.

He won 30 states to Clinton 20, won 2600 counties to Clinton 476 . That's how the EC was defined to function. Furthermore minus California Trump had more popular votes than her.

So we should continue in sin that grace may abound? God forbid.
We should keep destroying our environment because Russia and China are doing it?
Should people continue stealing, because a few others are getting away with it?
Is this a Nigerian logic? I hope not.
Batteries have components of rare earth metals, their extraction is extremely wasteful and damaging to the environment.China gives a rats arse about the environment, they control 90% of world's rare earth metals.Western societies were forced to shut down their mines, they too have plenty of rerserves of them, but green activists had them shutter.
We are not conflating clean environment with Climate change. Cleaner efficient fossil fuels are the way to go we all agree. But banning fossil fuels to transition to renewable energy is at the tail end of a pipe dream.
Sahara has the sun most of the year, a lot of solar can be produced there. The real problem begins with transportation of that power . Losses abound.

The batteries to make them is not renewable and you have more emissions from making those batteries li-po than you get from making gasoline.
Just plug the charging point into the socket outlet.
Most children have iPhones or Android powered smart phones, the world is changing.

Yes the world is changing, but where is the power to let all the devices operate coming from.
I always go for hydro, that is usually a project of magnanimous proportions few nation's can afford to build and operate

At the same time liberals have called for banning nuclear power which is very clean new advances are being made every day for a worst case disaster scenario.

It remains oil will power the world for a few more hundred years. Developing efficient engines is a major work in progress like the Dreamliner or A380.

And feel good liberals give subsidies to companies going green. This allows these mega corps to recoup their losses in the green energy division And pay less taxes.

Trump and Elon mosk are good buddies... But I doubt you would want to fly in electric plane cheesy

Electric ships? The range of electric cars while it has improved still pales compared to gasoline and the time it takes to charge. We are getting there but we have a long way to go.
The whole problem with liberals and green energy is that they know power comes from the socket outlet.
Just buy a car with a charging plug . hook it to the port for a few hours , and you are good to go for 200 miles.

And then her Chief of staff said the Green New Deal was about grabbing power.

[b]
Oh, you thought the Green New Deal was
all about fighting climate change? Well,
think again. Turns out it's a green-
glossed Trojan horse designed to
increase government control over the
economy.
Just ask Saikat Chakrabarti, chief of staff
to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y.,
the author of the deal. "The interesting
thing about the Green New Deal is it
wasn't originally a climate thing at all,"
Chakrabarti said. "We really think of it as a
how-do-you-change-the-entire-economy
thing."
Just how much change would the Green
New Deal bring to the economy? Put
simply, it would bring it to its knees.
We know, because when we tried to use
the Energy Information Administration's
National Energy Model to assess how the
plan would affect the economy, the model
crashed.
The Green New Deal is big on vision, but
sparse on details. For example, it calls for
reducing greenhouse gas emissions to
60% below 2010 levels by 2030, with the
ultimate goal of reaching net-zero
emissions by 2050. But it doesn't say
how to get there.

They ignored it intentionally. Every educated person knows for a fact, that in the nearest future, oil would be useless. America needs to invest heavily in renewable energy, if it want to continue to be the leader of the free world, but Trump is ignoring right now. Well that's why his most voters are from the uneducated sha.
Green energy is a liberal wishlist. We shall be on fossil fuels for several hundred years. We need to find out more and more sources not the other way.
The Climate Change or GND is about acquiring power like Minimum wage.
The Paris agreement never demanded China and India to do away with fossil fuels or buy Al Gore carbon credits They were to start thinking about reduced fossil fuels after 2030.
China and India are rolling out at least a new thermal plant every week Driving an electric vehicle is cool, but work input is always more than work output. The difference is termed losses.
Nice to have an electric car and recharge points along the stretch. And highly likely the recharge point uses a generator to provide power to the car. We now have an electric car getting it's charge from a generator ,solar and wind are not reliable, It takes a lot of knowledge to stabilise power flow in a grid system.
