Instead of him being charged with multiple counts, he was indicted on only one count. Not rape. But soliciting for sex with a minor. All his accomplices were given immunity, never to be charged at any one time .
Epstein led a normal life post prison as only a registered sex offender and a prisoner who had solicited for sex with a young girl.
The victims who should have given evidence were not informed about the plea deal shielding the other abusers. Once they learnt , they sued and a judge finally gave them greenlight to sue their abusers , years later in 2019. Which ran into problems because they filed the suit after the non prosecution agreement. The law was later modified to allow them legal rights to sue.
