The sh**tiing of Alex Pretti took place at 2614 Nicollet in Minneapolis - an address that has multiple businesses listed there including daycares

Border Patrol agents fatally shot 37-year-old Alex Jeffrey Pretti at 2614 Nicollet Avenue.

DHS confirmed the address and said the shooting happened during a targeted enforcement action where Pretti allegedly approached agents armed with a 9mm handgun and two magazines of ammunition.

Pretti was reportedly in the middle of the street, actively directing traffic through a high-stakes federal enforcement operation—intentionally creating a life-threatening hazard for agents on the ground.

When a federal agent attempted to move him and a woman out of the roadway, a physical struggle ensued. Footage shows the agent pushing the woman as she stumbled in the snow; Pretti then intervened, shoving the agent back.

Under federal law, physical contact with an agent performing their duties is a felony assault. Similar actions at the Capitol have been prosecuted without "defense of others" being allowed as a valid excuse.

As agents moved to restrain and cuff Pretti for the assault, he "violently resisted". It was during this high-intensity scuffle that agents identified a weapon.

Training vs. Narrative 🛡️🚫

As with the Renee Good incident, agents did not draw their firearms until a warning was shouted that a weapon was present. This is standard training: you neutralize the threat once it is identified.

DHS has confirmed that a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun with two loaded magazines was recovered from the scene.

Claiming the suspect was "disarmed" or "helpless" while actively wrestling with multiple agents is a tactical impossibility. If an armed suspect is fighting you, the threat is active until they are secured.

If you're blocking federal operations and shoving agents, you're looking for a fight. Those calling this "murder" are the same people who have opposed immigration enforcement from day one, regardless of the facts.

Carbon Credits: Each carbon credit represents the reduction or removal of one metric ton of carbon dioxide equivalent from the atmosphere. Recycling plastic reduces greenhouse gas emissions compared to producing virgin plastic from raw materials (oil and gas), so emissions are avoided. 

Any project that avoids Carbon Dioxide being emitted to the atmosphere qualifies for Carbon Credits. The process to get qualified is rigorous , very expensive and tightly controlled. It's a members club sort of that needs scale.
An example.
To qualify for 6 million carbon credits ,using solar ,you need to have a 4 GW solar farm. That solar farm is about a third of all Nigeria installed generating capacity .
Carbon credits from solar are cheaper than those from saving trees being cut down.
