Oremi22 you are right there are many empty lands in the village that doesn't do well in cassava and maize but instead of our people to plant cocoa or cashew on them they will left it to waste away, I don't if it's because of the seed (because to find a very good agric seed is sometimes difficult and that is why I said that the Govt should step in and educate the masses and also provide good agric seeds for them but unfortunately we have visionless leaders piloting our ship).
Ugwuanyi is currently distributing cashew seedlings at N50. Our people like fast money that's why trading appeal to them most

What has happened since the end of the civil war is that the Igbos were brainwashed to simply accept food from other tribes in Nigeria and refuse to develop their own agriculture.[/b]

The tragedy of that situation is that hunger and unemployment quadrupled in the SE and led to massive emigration of Igbos. We must change the narrative that Igbo cannot even feed itself. We failed to realize that no country could ever really develop if it could not feed its own people.

If we can convert some empty hills and bushes into some productive piece of land such as cashew plantations. Palm plantations and other cash crops, it will create enough economic base for most of our states to develop sustainable IGR and employ youths gainfully. We are not even talking about producing for export yet. Each time you see any unproductive land in any village and people are complaining about hunger, unemployment and poverty, it is because we would rather have bush growing around us, than convert the empty spaces to productive lands.
Our people must be thought that trading is not the only economic activity

I can't rate gburu in other aspects but when it comes to road maintanace, he has done horribly

Potholes are appearing everywhere in our roads, even major roads at independence layout have many potholes, I hardly see him maintaining any road unlike Sullivan period
Sullivan was mayor of Enugu city. Gburugburu is governor of Enugu state

The way I see it, PH airport doesn't have much future prospect, because of the amorphous nature of SS.

I don't see the Edos abandoning their determination to create a Sea and air hub in the state aimed at maximizing on the state vibrant solid mineral economy, for PH airport.

Akwa Ibom people will not even let Calabar airport grow. Even when they are all brothers. Akwaibom is an ambitious state that would want to have an international airport of their own and would one day get their acts together and get Ibaka Sea port working.
I don't see them giving it all up for PH. Akwaibom is even more oil producing than Rivers state today.

Ofcourse, Asaba airport is on the pipeline for Delta State.

So in essence, PH airport would serve only Rivers and Bayelsa .

If they are counting on using SE for traffic, then they are sleeping on top bike.

Enugu must be an international airport, while Imo airport complements it.

Let everyone go and answer their father's name.
Onye malu ebe owulu aru, ya jee kolu akwa ya.
Bayelsa airport is almost ready. PH will soon become Ikwerre airport.

Igbos are not so divided in real life.

Pay no attention to impostors here who are trying to create the impression of division in Igboland, by hiding behind Anambra tags.

Every where you see Igbos, they quickly close ranks and form an Igbo association.

I served in rural community in Yoruba, yet the few Igbos there from all parts of Igboland had an association, and immediately One of them saw me, he started speaking Igbo to me, without asking me if I were Igbo. I was amused and asked him how he knew, he told me that it's all over me.
There is this Igbo in every Igbo man, that is unmistaken.

No group unites and form "Porapo" groups faster in foreign lands than Igbos. Our unity even scares other Nigerians many times. Many accuse us of being tribalists, because we look out for each other.
We entertain diverse views and make decisions in a democratic manner. Some mistake this for division

You don't get it do you
Most SEasterners do not take pH as home since the abandoned property saga. And what is wrong with SE having their own airport in their region?
But If SE needs an airport in the SS region we gladly welcome you to asaba airport.
Any international flights in asaba at the moment?

There should be one standard international airport in each region of Nigeria
The functional International airport in Nigeria are:

1. Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport, Abuja
2. Murtala Mohammed International airport, Lagos
3. Akanu Ibiam International airport, Enugu
4. Mallam Aminu Kano International airport, Kano
5. Port Harcourt International airport, PH
6. Kaduna International airport, Kaduna.
Kaduna is a Hajj international airport

Let them regret, they won't stop nothing. Most Igbos are gradually having a little bit of sense to understand Nigeria for what it truly is, not what they hoped it was.

You know i met a lot of Afonja that said they voted Buhari so as to ruin Igbos for them? Just think of that level of hatred for once. You voted someone not to help you better your life, but because you perceive his hatred for Igbos should take priority over your own well-being?
Afonjas are not wired for competition. Their greatest fear is a level playground. They can support the devil to skew things against igbos. That's why we must be serious with PH outing today. I heard we are divided already

government mischievously closed down the airport
