You really understand the trick. When my charge controller shows me 13.6-14.4V, I power fridge, ceiling fan etc cos I'm not using battery but rather panel. By 5pm, sun comes down and my charge controller shows like 13.0V. I switch off fridge and use rechargeable fan and 5w bulb with my phone. I rarely watch TV. 1 month+ I have forgotten there used to be NEPA (now disco)

I use solar panels and inverter without electricity for over a month. You can't on what you put on in the day overnight. It would drain the batteries. So put off appliances latest 4, 5, 6pm and use bulbs and rechargeable standing fan overnight.

There is 20k Chinese inverter that can be connected to panel without connection to grid. With his load, he doesn't need hybrid inverter if he has plenty sunlight.

Where I for see AK 47 apart from BloodStrike? If him be my mama pikin, I for install more panels for free. But my load dey small and I no need grid to charge my battery. I only just need the Kano sun & panel to charge my battery. This solar installation depends on load. I know guys that spent 2m+ just to power TV, fan & bulbs. No be so.

Battery is GDK, inverter is just a cheap Chinese off-grid brand(only connected to panel). I dunno make of others.

220k got me one 200w solar panel, 3A charge controller, one 100Ah battery, and one 1,500w inverter last month. I rarely use grid. And it's serving me well day in day out. I live alone though so my loads are 1 laptop, two 5w bulbs, phones, subwoofer, 16in rechargeable fans, 32in LED TV and fridge(when voltage is between 13.6V-14.6V in the day)

Mine got reinvested earlier today and new accrued interest is reading. Try and check again. Please note that Ucap mmf accrued interest is reinvested by default unless you instruct otherwise.

It didn't rollover as I saw the accrued interest seated in my cash account and a new accrued interest started again from zero. Principal is only showing the initial funds with no added interest.

The fund manager will do it for you by default after each quarter

Yes, from the 32nd day. Just enter the total figures (interest + capital) for redemption. No penalty. I don't know about insurance but your ₦500k is not with Stanbic but rather with CBN (Treasury Bills) and in CP and FD of reputable companies. It's safe.

I'm just seeing these tier 1 and tier 2 limitations. Web shows I'm tier 2 but I do big transactions without hitches. Perhaps I should be tier 3 as you rightly observed

No, they are not the same. GT MMF was formerly Abacus MMF managed by Investment One but was sold to GTB when they became a Holdco. Yes, Axamansard was the former GT Assurance.

I think some of the lapses at Stanbic are because of size. They need to look well to match their customers' needs because their customer base is large.

Sometimes, as an investor, it's advised to have at least two fund managers to achieve optimum satisfaction.

a product from another firm not Stanbic.

For Stanbic MMF, we have Tier 3 and Tier1 as already stated. You will need to get in touch with Ucap customer care to get clarity.

If your account is Tier 3, you don't have a limit as to the maximum amount. It's only a Tier 1 account that has a maximum limit of 200k.

Both Tier 3 and Tier 1 accounts have a minimum deposit of 5k ie you can't invest below 5k, except if it's a reinvestment of accrued interest.

It was 160% last month or thereabout. It's risky, like equity fund. It's combo of mmf and equity, hence the fund name Balanced. But that 'balance' sometimes is not 'balancing'. Better do mmf or tbills if your risk appetite is low

Hi. I looked up the FSDH ASSET MANAGEMENT, I noticed that Coral Balanced Funds is @ 27+%, which is higher than TB rate. I want to understand why it's not a better option to invest in it.

Ive read through all their products and it seems you can easily withdraw your funds (within 48hrs), so I'm trying to understand why it's not a better alternative...
