That's how most of Nigerian politicians act! Most of them, if not all, are in it for the money.

He should tell that to his fellow politicians and the police officers they control. No need telling us or forming good leader! Walk the talk!

Why won't he grant them state pardon??

He definitely won't remember to free all his other citizens who have been arrested and detained for no reason at all, or those shot dead or maimed by trigger-happy police officers just because they can.

Two things he (and other politicians) know how to do include :
1) Eat our money
2) Grant state pardon to rich and influential people while abandoning the rest of the citizens he governs
3) Enrich himself, his family and his friends
4) Eat more of our money

It hurts to think of my parents as dead and buried.

If I were the one, I would do it. I can't stand to go to the village anymore because I'll have to see my sister's grave, so imagine how much more pain I would be in to continually have to see the land where my parents were buried. I will definitely sell the parcel of land, and buy another in a place far far away.
