Cantonese:You read that right.. you see after oil crisis in USA.. they quickly learn how insanely their economy depended on oil cos of cars n industrialization hence the need to be oil independent but they ain’t really an oil producing country. Their strategy was to start building massive storage facilities, and then after building they started buying massively during cheap periods to store away and releasing into their country to avoid price surge n once in a while sell for profit. Wash n repeat till now they have become independent and can go several several several years without even need import drop a drop hence reason why Dangote like many other oil companies is buying cheap from em as a supplier!!! And US refineries (overall) were designed to process relatively heavy, sour crudes, which characterize the bulk of most non-US crudes, especially from Venezuela and the Persian Gulf (i.e., Saudi Arabia). So - what do they do - to make the highest profit? Heavy crudes are imported, and blended with the lighter, sweeter current US crudes. These imported crudes (often Venezuelan or Persian Gulf) are less expensive, which is part of their charm for refineries. Then the displaced light, sweeter US crudes are exported, at higher prices, for (blending and) refining overseas. It is a simple adjustment for the reality of the history of operating major, installed, industrial assets (i.e., refineries) All these fuss about not wanting oil price to surge n how it’s gonna affect the world economy. Guess what it’s not gonna be so so severe for America I can say d same for Europe, just that China who is the biggest manufacturer of USA and d world will be affected and ask for more money for it product so technically oil prices affect everyone! I hope u understand what it mean now

press9jatv:Funny how you take other governors credit and award it to their successor cos it’s the convenient thing for you! Listen closely buddies.. all this roads, yes strait down to Iwo road underbrige to gbagi market road expansion to that road that extends to Osun state we’re all awarded and started by the late Gov Abiola Ajimobi..(RIP) The purpose of my comment is not to denial Gov seyi makinde of the merit he so richly deserve for making sure it took off and complete. But it’s easy to forget that’s the road was a brain chains of our late Governor. It was one of many projects the governor began and Seyi Makonde always makes a note of it every time he opens those road.. my fellow ibadanias will agree with me that the cleanliness in Ibadan today was as a result of the steps he enforced so that this project can take off them (hence the alias “Afinju Gomina” for dos who are not initiated this words mean “D SPOTLESS GOVERNOR”).. Several road syd in Ibadan was turn to dump ground for markets dirt and household refuse.. he had to but upgrade Ibadan refuse disposal agency wit those refuse truck n start removing them, demolished buildings for road encroachment, create space before the actual road construction n paving could continue off course cos of time required its almost nearing his tenure end. And both governors was in clear agreement about the importance of these project. If Governors seyi deserves merit, it sud be on the fact that he didn’t delay/rearward/crush the work as most thieving governors do. Simple made minor changes and bid the project on. He didn’t stop there o, governor seyi also now went ahead to do his own projects by superseding His ex-gov and awarded not just award but also finishing roads before his own tenure end. For those of u that have left Ib-city for awhile.. pls watch out for the Iworoad idiape-general gas- Ojuirin-Barack’s road 😁🙏 also now the famous Apata gridlock is no longer a terrible tin cos of road expansn n alternative road by gov seyi (if u don’t no this is a serious gridlock, like Imagin the gridlock on lagos bridge disappeared, yeah it’s lik that💙) also his Ibadan circular road will remain in record for years in the history of oyo state. Also go to the Ajia local government (Na y ilaji resort quickly grab land for a new site o).. Omo wen I heard it was awarded, I also bot land their around 600k now I’m been told mine is work 2m now all cos of that mad mad mad road.. also come to airport road and Ibadan airport upgrade to full national carrier. That’s a few not all the current governors work o. Also the rehabilitation of really important road n infrastructure in terrible state(all this is not obvious to Ibadanias but there’s mad work going on in all LGA in that regard) that’s just in road infrastructure o lemme no even talk about his contributions on education in public secondary schools and lautect and poly Ibadan.. or the way salary earners suddenly went mute since he not only pay them promptly but also 13th month n holidays bonus. Something unheard of is teachers and pensioners not fightn/hating on state government in Ibadan.. since I was born in this state. But ‘em all smiling quietly to the bank now. The only ppl suffering are his secretariats staffs n local government workers. Although some claim this is cos of d limitations he has put on curruption, lazy&late work pattern and ghost workers on our state… I dunno how true but yes he’s not popular among his own staff but he has the love of his citizens. Also it’s sed that the oyo state police command too habour reservations for him cos of his support for youth during end sars too but, the police commissioner is a nobody for the kind of power governor holds n seyi also Kip himself in good books of both his pdp party n always receive apc guest with an open hand. Go n look at the production he made just cos Tinubu wanted to come n campaign in oyo then.. everyone knew that they must be cool buds It’s gonna take a while for us to figure out another gov who will successfully beat that handsome gov sterling records.. don’t mata if u agree with me or not, that’s d fact.. 💯 BayoSteel✍️ Governor Seyi Makinde’s Remarks at the Commissioning of the Junction Improvements at Agodi-Gate, Civic Centre and Idi Ape, Ibadan (March 22, 2024) Governor Seyi Makinde’s Remarks at the Commissioning of the Dualised 12.5 km Challenge-Odo Ona Elewe-Elebu-Apata Road (February 16, 2024) Governor Seyi Makinde’s Remarks at the Inauguration of LAUTECH Iseyin Campus Governor Seyi Makinde’s Remarks at the Commissioning of the 3.2 km Ibadan Airport Road Dualisation Project Governor Seyi Makinde’s Remarks at the Flag Off of the Construction of the Oyo State Government and Shell Nigeria Gas Ltd Gas Project (November 17, 2022) Governor Seyi Makinde’s Speech at the Commissioning of the Cassava-Based Sorbitol Factory at Psaltry International Company Ltd, Ado-Awaye ( Aug 2022) Governor Seyi Makinde’s Remarks at the Commissioning of Mini Mapo Hall June 8, 2022 Governor Seyi Makinde’s Remarks at the Flag Off of the 76.67km Ogbomoso-Fapote-Iseyin Road May 18, 2022 Remarks by Governor Seyi Makinde at the Official Flag-Off of the Construction of the Saki-Ogbooro-Igboho Road May 31, 2021 Remarks by Governor Seyi Makinde at the Commissioning of St Paul Primary School, Okutapemo, Iseyin LGA May 31, 2021 Governor Seyi Makinde’s address at the Commissioning of OYSADA Headquarters In Saki, Oke-Ogun Zone May 31, 2021 Remarks by Governor Seyi Makinde at the Commissioning of Junction Improvements at Challenge and Felele, Ibadan May 29, 2021 Remarks by Governor Seyi Makinde at the Commissioning of Muslim Grammar School, Odinjo, Ibadan May 28, 2021 Remarks at the Commissioning of the Infectious Disease Centre [Renamed Saki Specialist Hospital] Saki September 10, 2020 It’s plenty.. this is to name a few! LandMann:Your anger at the failure of the Nigerian state has become HATE, Now what hates does, like cancer is it spread to other part of your body. I do not like our government any more than I like every failing institutions. And the same can be said about every Nigerian that loves thier country and not the nightmare it has become. But it doesn’t mean that when we speak the truth we are supporting it current leaders. We just not suffering from Hate like you. Why else would you be preacing the gospel of a company that lack key policies related to transactions, no refund or cancellation that’s the worse rules the devil can make with any one. Omg bro have ever rolled with people who invest really hard earned money on these kinda plate forms and lose it. A yahoo boy can easy make that bargain now a frudster can easily move on know another Mugu will pay up. But it’s a terrible thing for ppl who are not like these ppl to go tru just cos they wanna edge against inflation. Now inflation o. That’s what all of u that just hate ur country claim as the reason why cryptocurrency is so good. Due to inflation, the value of many currencies decline. Many folks see cryptocurrency as offering protection against inflation. But that advantage has been defeated in Nigeria because of the actions of politicians/yahoo boys who hold insyd this platform dollars that Igbo smart businessmen need to import goods for their own profit and y hat the government cn tax. So their actions on that platform and others has cr8 artificial inflation. Which is making your life difficult and making you hate Nigeria and the governments. And spreading it with joy like a baby who is helpless but will wail and weep and cry like a baby thinking that others be the problem not realizing the big picture. She nah only government dis Troy this country ni. Landmann, So how can you call me a supporter when I only state the facts of the matter Cryptocurrency has gained popularity among investors globally. With technological involvement and industrialization, digital currencies are obtaining a satisfactory position over others, By using Cryptocurrency it gets easy to transfer money without any involvement of banks and other financial institutions. But pls between you and I, how many legit investors do we have in our country. Every Nigeria politico or yahoo that manage to grab some $$$ will claim the title and instead of living up to it by buying & selling something taxable by the state or choose to create a business that will invest in the countries many portfolios nah lie. What we do is we just leave the money their (creating scarcity) until demand for the scarce $$$ makes the plenty naira in supply devalue and make profits from that. That’s y our banks are claiming to have make so much profits are YE with out giving out loan or investing. The just round trip like others and claim profit over our weak naira. You see that’s the truth doesn’t matter if u believe it or not. So therefor speakn it, that’s doesn’t mean that I support the government but cranking down upon this platform that enable this kind of customer is a good thing for this country. Now you spoke Abk out doing KYC on Binance. You must be completely gullible see KYC is not limited to you Source of Funds, Source of Wealth, and Proof of Address BVN/NIN.. a robost KYC involves Footprints Footprints Footprints. Binance that doesn’t even have footprints to enable refund for bad transactions how much more for criminal investigations. So that weakness has been exploited cos ppl now summit all this things but they know that you cannot really see where the money came from or it’s destination just only how much came in and how much went out which is not an evidence for criminal activity in a court.. even if your sure that money was ransom money sent by mr A who was kidnapped and d address belong to the mr B the kidnappers. No significant footprints to do paperwork. Go and try that on. Nah y all this shady mofos are invading binance |
LandMann:Uneasy lies the womb that carried your foetus, and the moment you decided to drop your sound argument towards my assertion albeit disrespectfully. That’s is where u bleeped up, so unfortunate landmann, here’s is a point for your wise consideration The point is not about binance not being legally culpable for the actions of her customers, it’s the fact that they have also broken constitutional laws as a company- tax law and basic KYC footprint- that has nothing to do with their customers that use their platform or Nandi Kanu & Igbojo, You see your completely barking at the wrong point like a dog and u totally misremembered the point in discuss, Thus the reason why NSA is charging it for deliberate economic sabotage and FIRS for Tax evasion. Now lemme quick show you the folly of ur point. That means I wanna assume you have summited a constructive point and not this one u tot u have some wisdom to cry about. Seun can Infact be invited based on crimes that emernate from this platform. I appeal to you to read more about Criminal Liability under the constitution of our Nigerian Federation Criminal liability is a legal concept that holds individuals responsible for the actions or omissions if they are found to have committed a criminal act in person or by PROXY. Criminal liability differs from civil liability, which is based on the breach of a contract or tort. To be considered criminally liable, an individual/group must have acted with intention or NEGLIGENCE and thus there must be both an actus reus and mens rea. I don’t wanna go to much into this pls investigate our constitution. But I will quickly show u what the law says and how it how applies to ur point of Seun of Nairaland. Whenever a Seun or Binance or any business owner is ultimately responsible for business then crimes committed by partners (ie employee/client/customer )depends on the specific circumstances of each case. However, in general, business owners can be held liable for crimes committed by their partners if: The owner had knowledge of the crime and failed to take steps to prevent it. For example, if a Seun knows that a partner is falsifying records, but does nothing to stop them, the owner could be held liable for fraud. The owner created a corporate platforn or culture sef, let’s even forget platform if he just remote insinuate it some body language that encouraged or tolerated criminal behavior. For example, if a company has a policy of rewarding partners for meeting sales targets, even if they achieve those targets through illegal means, the owner could be held liable for the partners' crimes. The owner personally participated in the crime. This is obvious, im the case of Binance mind you, but it's worth noting that if an owner is directly involved in a crime, they can be held personally liable for their actions. In some cases, both the business owner and the partners may be held liable for a crime. For example, if a yahoo boy or senetor commits fraud or corruption 😁, and is bisiting (Binance/Opay/Piggybank etc) for the very first time but the binance didnt know about the fraud and failed to take steps to prevent it by following the CBN protocol of issue security notice sudden visitors like those, both the parter and the owner could be charged with fraud. Look all this laws are enshrined in our constitution is just that we invok em when we don’t like someone/something and wanna punish/strick em albeit Legally 😁 so that’s my point. I hope you will understand and offer more criticism in a respectful manner the next tym. With me or with some else. You blooody Motherfuker 😁 Because I like seun It's important to note that platform and business owners like him can take steps to protect themselves from liability for business crimes. These steps include: Developing and implementing a compliance program. A compliance program should include policies and procedures for preventing and detecting criminal behavior. Providing training to employees on ethics and compliance. This training should help employees to understand the company's policies and procedures, and to recognize and report potential criminal behavior. Creating a culture of compliance. This means making it clear to employees that the company takes ethics and compliance seriously, and that any violations of company policies and constitutional provisions will be investigated and punished. By taking these steps, Seun 😁 and other big boys and business owners can reduce their risk of being held liable for business crimes when Nig comes with the noose like a damn hangman. However, it's important to remember that no compliance program can completely eliminate the risk of liability. Ultimately, the best way to protect yourself from liability is to create a culture of ethics and compliance within your company. Ko ju baum loor. Shikenah! God punish you Landmann, God bless Nairalanders and I above all God bless the Federal republic of Nig. |
Antoeni:Furthermore The screenshots I uploaded are just raw materials from the muslims scriptures(Quran), for you to have sufficient knowledge of the information you must as a student in search of your own truth quickly google each verse tefsir (scholars explanations) go for the very very short ones since you have a few verse and truth to round, because we have lengthy/shortened scriptures explanations in Islam.. Gods blessings be upon Abraham (AS), God blessing be upon Jesus (AS), God blessings be upon Muhammad (SAW). And lastly more blessings fall upon you n I too and all those noble worth messangers of God YES, it is ok to subject the Quran to investigation and scrutiny. In fact that is what Allah command every Muslims to do it themselves and this is what a lot of muslims abandoned. Plus it has already been done by a lot of muslim scholars for a long period of time but their studies are also been neglected by majority of muslims today. A lot of Muslim do not read Quran everyday, they do not investigate it and they do not practise what is inside the Quran. How do I know this? If muslims practise exactly what the Quran says, the world would be a lot better than this. There would be no injustice in society, there would be fair distribution of wealth among society, people will be afraid to commit crime and many other things. Last time I had a discussion with an islamic scholar and got a new info regarding inheritance in islam. There are 4 situations stated in Quran where the men will get more than women, but there are 34 situations where women might get more than men. I never know about this until I speak with someone who had the knowledges and this is the only small part of it. This is why Allah command his creations (muslim/non muslim) to investigate the Quran. “ Then do they not reflect upon the Qur'an? If it had been from [any] other than Allah, they would have found within it much contradiction” |
Antoeni:Furthermore Note- Pls the Muslims should desist from insulting non-believers who ask simple questions: “pls explain” is the hallmark of an inquisitive mind. I know persons like that could easily ask google but when you answer them there, it makes it easier for other like em to learn about the lies warped around our religion

thesicilian:Sir.. You are Wise Wise Wise… |
tobenuel:This is actually Deeeeep.. if u know! u know. If u don’t forget about it |
LandMann:The Same US that sanctions Binance with over $4.5 million as punishment for breaking Tax law! I douth ur assertion sir, Nig through the FIRS has also claimed Tax laws have been broken in Nigeria and was only await Ribadu n NSA to chop well before they begin their own prosecution. Who knows how much $$$ Binance will be required to refund FIRS. Binance is done for and considering that interpol is now involved with manhunt for their exe. No country will take them seriously again. Nigeria might have fired the bullet that’s going to bleed that company to ultimate death! |
reiddecuti:This is not a first timer, Alamesia eloped to Nigeria from the UK authorities by dressing lik a woman, A Nissan boss also fled Japan during his detention by the country on the presidents order to Palestine. This kind of things does not break a country or mean it’s so so terrible. It’s bad but it’s not imposible. I just pity this runaway man. Nig through the FIRS has claimed Binance has broken Tax law in Nigeria. So apart from the problem he has with the NSA he also now have FIRS case to contend plus interpol manhunt. He’s gonna have to keep run n watching his back for lifeeee.. Binance is already moving into their twilight. US just sanctions then wit tax refund of 4.5million plus add that to what Nigeria is gonna demand. No country will be giving them serious consideration moving forward! Nigeria has set the table for Binance to destroy herself! |
