So now you agree what market is ruined but tried to make it look as if we bought the league.
The Arab bankrolled clubs blew the market. Man city wnet a step further to scam the system with their Abu Dabi sponsorship.
What's your definition of buying the league?

Your writing figures which is due to the unrealistic cost of the market, not quality. De Jong is costing Barcelona over £70 million. It is not quality.

Those names there are not names to buy a title.

Compare their names to that of Liverpool. Their players had more stellar names before they joined Liverpool than Manchester City buys.

Your buying league point is false. It took hard work,
dedication and brilliance for Guardiola to take us to where we are.
The main reason why Je Jong will go for that price is because the transfer market have been raped by the likes of Man city. You get?

Go and study your history. Manchester United became a big when someone banked rolled them with money to spend big.

So because Manchester United were banked rolled first, others should fold their arms while the spend to the high heavens to stay in top.

Now you know the market is unrealistic but you tried to paint a false image that Guardiola was spending money to buy titles, instead of acknowledging the impact of his tactical acumen.

Guardiola is brilliant but the ability to spend top dollar on any player he wishes has gone a long way to get him success, that is why I rate the likes of Klopp and Pochetino who has had to work their ass off to get to where they are.
Coincidentally, they both will contest for the champions league finals. Win win situation for every pure football fan.

Which Manchester City bullish... Sorry but, Manchester City lost Kolarov, Sagna, Zabaleta, Clichy and Demichelis.

Buying Mendy, Walker, Danillo and Stones was replacing lost players, not spending sake. Not checkbook win.

Guardiola has been amazing. His impact transformed the Premier league.
How much did their replacements cost?
Mangala- 45M
Stones-50M
Walker 50m
Danilo 50m
Mendy 52m
Laporte 57m
Not to mention the cost for Claudio Bravo and Emerson who cost a combined 90M.
If this isn't open checkbook management, I don't know what it is.

Not true. Is the open check book Bernardo Silva, Sane Gundogan? Is it Stones, Laporte or Walker? These were no Stella names. What of Gabriel Jesus? We did not go big in the market compared to buys like Van Dijk, Keita, Salah, Mane, Firmino. The gulf in clout is far ahead. Guardiola is even cash strapped because of the inflation in market. He wanted the like Fred, Neves, Sanchez, De Jong, Bonucci, Jorginho and others but lost in securing those players because we do not run a open checkbook policy contrary to your claims.

Look at Manchester United buying Sanchez, Lukaku, Matic, Pogba.

Guardiola did not buy his players that way. He deserves respect but unfortunately, people will continue downplaying his impact because of their bias.
Man Utd can afford to buy Sanchez and co. They are one of the world's most profitable clubs. They spend what they earn without breaking any rule.
It's not like Man city who are bankrolled by a country who inflated their sponsorship with Abu Dabi to evade financial fair play.

Psg, Man city and Chelsea contributed to this inflated and unrealistic transfer market. It's laughable Pep is complaining about the transfer market when he bought 3 full backs for £160M.

Long story. The fact is simple and clear. Guardiola achieved great results by converting midfielders to full backs trained them to brilliant ones. That does not mean they were close to the quality he wanted.

Finito.

He also converted Mascherano to a defender and Xavi Martinez,so this won't be the first time.
Point still remains he got his success on the back of an open checkbook policy. A policy which have seen Man city use underground practice to evade financial fair play.
I have no respect for success on the back of gaming the system.

Stop trying to berate pep ,you can only do that on good joe face ,even your so called English media can't say what you are saying ,is it the same klopp that buy a defender of 75 million ?

Please tell me when did Liverpool came 10th in the Epl ?

Was salah and mane with Rodgers ? Was van dijk with Rodgers ?

Is it the same Rodgers team that almost won the Epl before calamity donkey Gerard spoiled everything

Klopp is better than Rodgers but stop berating pep, klop is yet to win what pep has won

You guys hate pep doesn't mean you should not speak the truth ,stop being sentimental

Klop has lost 3 European final and its normal but if its pep I know you will troll him with that

Epl fan boys hate pep because he is from Barcelona

Smiles

What was Liverpool's league position when Rogers was sacked and Klopp appointed mid season? If it wasn't 10th, prove me wrong.
Infact make your research and get back to me.

Klopp didn't spent £75M on any defender last season and got to the finals of the champions league.
Someone had to stand up to Man city's bulshit and match their spending at some point. Without mancity inflating the transfer market, I'm very sure Van Dyk wouldn't have gone for £75M.

Im not berating Pep. I think he's a good manager but he has had advantage over others with the open check book policy Mancity operates.

Guardiola used invention to solve his left back problem after Mendy got injured. He brought unbelievable quality in Zinchenko and Delph, not like they were the best he wanted. It is very logical, I do not need to explain this.

This is like asking why did Liverpool buy Firmino when they had Origi.

Yet he's perennially linked to more left backs. One would have thought since Zichenko and Delph have become world class he will stick to them.
Remember, my initial comment was that Klopps have had more impact and I still stand on that. The man took over from Rogers when they were in 10th place, today they have become monsters. Same can't be said of Pep.

Duse isn't winning it. I've tipped VVD for it. He's had more impact than any other player has to a team

If the Dutch win the Euro league, then VVD will win the thing hands down. Messi have the Copa America in June as well. I don't think Argentina will win but it could be down to those two indices.

Mendy injured. It is normal for a player to injure. By the way, Guardiola broke massive records. He does not need the claps of haters. History and records applaud him already.

Zichenko and Delph were Mancity players before he spent £52M to buy Mendy. Why buy Mendy if he knew Delph and Zichenko would be coached into worldies?
That's my question.

Guardiola is also doing a fantastic job with City, improving every player he met. Who would have thought Delph would have been impactful as a left back, with the team going to break records. Who would have thought Zinchenko would become such a force playing as a left back. Who would have expected Sterling to become this fantastic. He improved the work rate of Aguero to phenomenal rate. Did you see the improvement of John Stones? Mind blowing.

They have both been great. Leave it at that. Trying to make it look like because he won a match today he is the best. Guardiola has had the team playing phenomenal for a long while.

Finito.
Then he shouldn't have paid a kings ransome for Mendy if he could improve Zichenko and Delph to world class standards like you claim.
You don't spend a small country's gdp on buying full backs and expect people to clap for you for winning the Premiership.

Funny. Did Klopp come last season? How can last season not count? The reason you do not want it to count is because you want to deny the fact of Guardiola's impact. Manchester City was up against a strong Liverpool last season. They played the Champions League finals and the Europa Finals the season before.

Yet Guardiola achieved the unbelievable. Won trophies and still doing well this season.

They are both brilliant and deserve praise. Trying to run Guardiola down is running from facts of his brilliance.

I'm not running Pep down. I'm just saying Klopp has had more impact judging with the players they met on ground and developed. For goodness sake who would have thought a guy like Milner will be making a difference at this level. How about Henderson who was the butt of all jokes pre Klopp?

Remember klopp met Liverpool at 6th place while Pep met Man city in a good place with petrol dollars.
Klopp has been far more impactful than Pep, with due respect.

Iwobi has the ingredients.

But he is undisciplined. No amount of personal trainer can erase that trait if you don't buckle down
There are examples of players who were undisciplined, yet they are rocking.
Guys like Neymar, Ronaldinho Icardi to mention a few are party animals but they still turn on the magic. Even Baloteli in his prime was almost unplayable.

Iwobi's problem is more mental than anything else. Naturally he appears too nice. Maybe something with his upbringing. If he was raised in a tough neighborhood like Ajegunle he will be more ruthless and this is exactly what his game is lacking.

Dedication and hard work.

I can bet it that iwobi doesn't put in half the work our full backs do both in training and in the match proper
This is not true. Arsenal employed a specialist trainer for Iwobi, it was all over the news. No way he doesn't work hard. Football is beyond just hard work, me thinks, you need to have the ingredients within yourself in the first place.

Was Klopp in the league last season. Heck, Guardiola was robbed out of this Champions League. It takes element of luck also. If Messi took his chance earlier the story would have been different.

Congratulations to Liverpool but to make it look Klopp is superior because of Champions League is off.

Last season counts little. Man city practically bought the league last season. Klopp has spent as much as Pep this season and they are neck on tie in the league abiet loosing just 1game.
Klopp has also pulled through more youth players like Arnold and unknowns like Robertson and turned them into world class players while Pep binned Sancho and Diaz.
Hats off to Klopp, no matter how you look at it.

I laugh. The same Liverpool we beat this season? The multiple records we broke last season. Give it to both of them. They are wonderful managers but Pep has been immense this season in multiple competitions to say Klopp has had more impact.
Klopp is playing his second champions league final back to back. Last time Pep managed a game at this level was almost a decade ago.

Drastic measures should be employed to fight cyber crime otherwise the world will totally disconnect from the next generation of Nigerians because of no fault of theirs. It's already happening but some are blind to see this.

I agree and disagree.

Etebo has a fantastic engine and is highly versatile, this guy has played almost every outfield position on the pitch as a professional.

Without going into too much detail he simply needs to add a bit more quality to his game in the final third. He can become as good as Essien was. For now he is a good squad player.
Pound for pound is Ndidi really a better footballer than Etebor? I don't think so.
