what are you even saying? We are talking of national team and you are mentioning barca,Madrid..et al. Na people like you dey chase away people from this thread. Somebody will say something, you will twist it and say something else.
Are you sure you read your own comment? Someone asked do have Nigerian players who can bench the Croatians, you replied Samuel Kalu, Ndidi and Mikel.
Why did you bring up Kovacic, Vrjlasko and Loveren ( asking about his Liverpool form) and their clubs respectively, if you didn't mean actually mean “club“?
You don't have to run from pillar to post. Just admit you were wrong and move on.

We lacked attacking invention, no creativity. That was the problem. You don't score when you don't make chances.

No one is saying, we are a world class team but at no time, were we dominated by Croatia. On another day, that was a drab draw.

Watch the game again with no commentary. We were solid for most of it.
You know Seychelles can also say this. They can make claims that they were up to par with the Super Eagles, after all, we didn't score them from open play.
The first goal credited to Musa by some was actually an own goal from their goalkeeper and the other 2 goals were from set pieces.
Deep down, we know Nigeria was never in trouble in that game, at no point did we feel under pressure.

Now let's apply this same sense to the Croatia match. You feel we nullified them when in reality we offered nothing and at no point did the Croatians feel the game was swinging in our direction.
We played with no urgency, Mikel Obi who most people thought was the creative hub of the Eagles couldn't orchestrate anything. We offered no threat from open play nor from set pieces.
I have never seen a good team go a goal or 2 down and they aren't throwing the kitchen sink at the opponent to salvage something.

It felt as if our game plan was to loose 2-0.

nobody is delusional here bro...it is a fact, those SE players I mentioned are capable if given the chance.
And am not opining that SE are world class, my main point is they are not average as some people here made us to believe. No be the same SE qualify from the group that consist of Algeria, Cameroon and Zambia to bag a WC spot and some people are demoting them for some overrated Europeans. SMH
Your statement was very bogus. You just implied that Mikel Obi, Ndidi and Samuel Kalu can walk straight into Real Madrid, Barcelona and Inter Milan respectively, and bench Modric, Rakitic and Ivan Perisic.
You don't have to go overboard and make ridiculous statements just to counter arguments, especially online in a forum where people from all works of life and background visit.
You can say stuff like this when you're addressing your friends who can tolorate you, but not in public.

Hahaha... Stop being delusional bro.
This is the type of comment that makes people dig in and bring cold hard facts about Nigerian players that will be miss interpreted for hatred.
Nigerian players are world class yet, the last time a Nigerian won APOTY was Kanu Nwankwo in 1999/2000

Croatia played 90 minutes with 1 shot on target and they were conserving energy

We were simply undone by mistakes. That was a boring 0:0 game if i ever saw one.

Nigeria neutralized Croatia in that game fairly easily. It was a poor game from both teams.

We just lacked invention going forward.

Well, the game didn't end 0-0. We were a goal down in the first half, showed no fight in the second half to get back in the game. Went 2-0 down, still showed no fighting spirit or will to get a goal back, no real chances created.

My brother, don't get caught up in the illusion that we kept Croatia at bay because we made errors.
When you are a goal down, you fight to bounce back in the game. You don't play to cancel out the opposition at 2 goals down. That is small team mentality.

Matching them for parts of the game is to be expected after all our players are professional players. The bottom line is that we didn't create anything going forward and they did BECAUSE they were better than us in all aspects of the game. These is no other way of dressing this up.

Krmaric molested Shehu for as long as he was around.

The pony tail defender Vida was like 3 men, our players got confused at the sight of him.

Modric and Rakitic were mostly unopposed in midfield.

The respectable scoreline and the fact their goals came via set pieces is what is tarnishing our memory of how that game actually unfolded.

Your narrative was very apt. The Croatia game went the same way our pre world cup friendlies went.
The Super Eagles were so bad on the day that they couldn't force Croatia to shift gears to beat them.
The Croatians played the game as if they deliberately were conserving energy for more demanding games ahead in the tournament.
That game was a bad advertisement for Nigerian football. We didn't make na impression at all. The Croatians barely broke a sweat.

I traveled this road sometime in November 2018. The road was absolute shambles, almost unpassable. I cursed the driver for not plying the old road.
A particular part of the road after Ojiriver, enroute Awka have been totally washed off.
A trailer slipped on the murdy road and virtually blocked the passable lane, leaving commuters stranded.
I wonder where they snapped these pictures from.

No vex eh but the fact that Iwobi is a starter for Arsenal at this present age and time shows just why they are not a to up four or five team anymore. Let us be brutally honest, Iwobi is not good enough to be a starting winger or even a starting AmF for any top team, he plays the first five games of the season as if his life depends on it then goes completely off the boil, he has done that for three seasons now so that's just the way he is. At some point Arsenal will have to realise that they need to buy quality wingers if they are to challenge anybody
Sadly, I don't think the club have this ambition. On current evidence.

Let us just agree that he is between 24-26 then. My main problem with this issue right now is that it puts a huge question mark on the validity of this MRI right now. For a goalkeeper 26 isn't a bad age at all, still has like 10 years if he eats well, but for normal players what does this mean? Onazi has had three serious injuries in less than a year, a player who has had no injury record before then, he is supposedly 25 but I can assure you that isn't true, but he passed the MRI didn't he? Like I always say outsiders won't fix our issues for us

A personal friend attended GSS Gwarimpa where she was classmates with Kenneth Omeruo. They left secondary school 2004. Which by my calculation, Kenneth should be 23/24 when he passed MRI back in 2009.
His real age should be 32/31 which explains why he got married this year.
Career driven Igbo men usually get married at the earliest 30, except if the situation enforced marriage or maybe an only son/child.

I was about to react to the Yul Edochie example till I saw your reply.
Truth is that, a broke Yul cannot marry at just 22 when his Elder brother is still single. It doesn't happen anywhere in Igbo culture, his father Pete is an ichie and a very cultural man to the core.
Except if the girl fell pregnant, under the circumstance, the younger brother (Yul) can get married with the blessing of his senior brother.

That line definitely didn't originate from me.

Like I said he may have gained admission and abandoned it for Aspire academy.

And again like i said I have not seen any solid proof to discredit Uzoho's age. All those inferences most peeps are making based on his physical attributes are just baseless.

I don't use physical appearance to judge people. Cases are bound where girls start menstruating at 10 while some others start the same process at 15 or even 16.
In Uzoho's case, it appears his younger sister Kelechi is currently serving in Lagos, she graduated from Futo. From her pictures, the girl should be 24-25yrs, which makes me believe Francis is +/- 28.

Quote my post where I stated he was adopted straight from secondary school.

Mind u Facebook was originally designed for people who have graduated from school. So there is no provision for "attending" So so and so school. It will always read "attended" so so and so school even for 100level students.
Uzoho was picked from secondary school by Aspire was the line used to defend his acclaimed age. Maybe wasn't originated by you but surely, that was the defence line here.

As a public figure, he has no reason to lie about his education on his personal page. I don't think he graduated anyway, he must have stopped to pursue his footballing career, however we know the Nigerian education system gives room for impostors to write exams for students in abenscia, especially a runs school like Imsu.....
Anyway, I have actually learnt alot about Uzoho this morning.
My best wishes to the new couple.

Do you even know if he actually gained admission into the University before pulling out to join Aspire Academy?

Look I don't know Uzoho's history in and out. But one thing I know is your attempts at rubbishing his age are totally unfounded and without facts.

Francis Uzoho is 20years old. Take that to the bank. angry

How can my fact digging attempts be unfounded and without facts? I am not actually a lazy Nigerian who hate research.
You claimed he was adopted by Aspire Academy straight from secondary school, I showed you his personal Facebook account which he claimed to have studied at IMSU.
What could be less factual than that?
Since you don't really know him or history why are sticking your neck out to defend him

How can someone look like this 6 years ago and today u say he is above 30? Can't u see his physical development during this last 5 years. Do men that transit from 20s to 30s experience such change?
I don't think he's the ugliest in that group picture.

The physical development I see from his pictures in 2012 and now is simply money.
We all look younger in our throw back pictures.

By the way I snooped around on his Facebook page and he wrote it himself he studied at IMSU.
That puts a question mark that he went to Aspire direct from secondary school.

Igob men don't marry at 19.if Uzoho was from Northern Nigeria, it would have been arguable he is indeed 19.

Romance / Re: Was Linda Ikeji Played? by bazooka1: 2:23pm On Dec 14, 2018
Possibly, she was played. Regina Askia experienced something like this back in the 90's, when she was the queen Bee of nollywood. She came across as petulant and a total snub. Till a guy (names with-held) made a bet with his friends to play the babe.
Guyman hooked up with her, got engaged, she was madly in love, well, he absconded back to America two weeks to their wedding.

Isn't it a bit odd that Linda Ikeji claim to have been circumcised but in her narration, she got hooked to having sex with the guy and kept going back for more and more.
Circumcised females aren't supposed to enjoy sex as we have been made to understand.
I stand to be corrected.

I don't think you're correct. On a 4 point grade system, he will have to make straight 3.5 from second year to final year to graduate with 3.175, in a 4yr course.

I will rephrase, the student will have to make straight distinctions forthwith to recover and graduate with an upper credit.
Make of that what you will.

He stands a better chance in 5 point grade system in my opinion. 4point grade system can be very unforgiven.

how far with the face?

The body is coming off good really...

I did not start out with vertex modeling myself and you are doing good.

Working on a face, i must confess, is one of the hardest things to do. and do you know that you had to study each component of the face too. My favourite part is the nose, super easy, a dash of clay and holes extruded inwards and voila you get the nostrils...

But the eyes, thats always hard for me...

Keep trying and search for tuts that specially deal of face modeling using vertices. There's a particular series done for the Sintel character using Blender. Its indepth and the tutor is a lady. Lady tutors are the best. they are lucid and not too fast paced
Thanks for the feedback, brotherly. To be honest, I'm totally stuck in the face, especially the eyes. I try to model the eye balls using sphere as a placeholder, then model the eyes round the socket.
I have used this method over 20 times and still coming up short. I may have to try another workflow because so far, this is just not working.
I was wondering if I can get you on whatsapp? I could use a little bit of mentorship bro.

This is my first human model. This journey haven't been easy at all but I'm soldiering on.
This model is not finished yet, accessories like belt, hat and hair are still to come but so far, the face have been the most challenging. I haven't found it easy to get it right with the likeness.
I would appreciate your criticism @Naijabazaar and possibly more pointers to get it right.
Thank you cheesy

Chan is a category 3 tournament rated by FIFA on par with Afcon. If a guy was out jumping very tall Sudanese players, trust me that person should be noted.
This idea of writing off homegrown solution is the reason we will never do well in a competition like the world cup.

The failings of foreign coaches employed by Nigeria in recent past can be traced to their jettison of home made solutions. We employ people who are not even resident in Nigeria. I saw your write up the other day complaining about Rohr and his lack of knowledge of Nigerian football culture, I smiled and scrolled past. How do you expect a man resident in France to understand the footballing culture of Nigeria? Vogts, Lagerback and now Rohr haven't managed to cracked it and they were all coaching Nigeria from Europe.
Compare these guys with Westerhof who helped develop Nigeria football from the grassroots. The man knew particular tribes where he will scout and get particular type of players.
