Idumuje ugboko is small that d natives know themselves by both names & faces. so more should be made known |

I wonder where Pastor Reno who accused someone else of lying has gotten this his own figures from.
Hmm... Pastor Wendell also claims Jonathan fixed the Onitsha-Owerri road and complete the Itakpe-Ajaokuta-Warri standard gauge railway to 80%. Coming from a holier-than-thou fellow who accuses others of lying, these claims sound exactly like someone saying Buhari built the Abuja-Kaduna railway to 100% and commissioning. Make your point. Reference: Credibly well in what way. The yardstick we use to rate leadership in Nigeria is just so ignorantly mediocre. The quality of leadership is legacy, the ability to sustain and improve quality. Even generation after generation of the humble mosquito has improved capacity and productivity. If a lion (what you call Ibori) gave birth to a dog (what you called puppy faced Uduagan) who did next to nothing in 8 years, then Ibori is the sole cause. Look at Lagos State. That is a small example of good leadership, the ability to REPRODUCE SUCCESS in increasing measure. That is why the expectations of Lagosians is so high and their governors have no option but to perform. What has been the performance of subsequent Delta governors. Lagos has developed a system of good governance.
The reason why folks are crazy about Ibori is out of starvation. They long for the 'good old days'. That in itself shows Ibori failed because he should have institutionalised his successes so whether he is there or not Delta will be great. So I don't buy this 'strong man' mentality. It is failure, pure and simple. And I say it for this federal government. The legacy it leaves will be the yardstick of its quality, not some borehole here and there or some tarred road, but the ability to build institutions by its selfless actions. IBORI BUILT INSTITUTIONS FOR HIMSELF. HE IS AN INSTITUTION. THAT IS FAILURE. U mean fg's recession legacy? |

I find your position quite worrisome. So because the topic centers on ibori, we cannot treat or discuss other issues related to this? This quite a narrow view. I want to believe you are not situated in delta state and hence cannot measure the pulse of the people. I have spent over 3decades in delta state and I qualify to speak extensively on affairs that bothers on delta state and the Niger Delta at large.pls and pls, don't rely on news paper reportage. buJu234: ibori is like the Tinubu of delta state.
if not for his wrong/miss calculation or greed; he would have just allowed GEJ be when GEJ was moving from VP to acting president.
he made the greatest mistake by commonizing and fighting against GEJ; that was why the full force of the federal govt. under GEJ was released on him; which led to him being jailed for corruption.
remember Alamisaya/Dareiye/Tinubu etc were more corrupt than Ibori.
but Alamisaya/Dareiye/Tinubu etc used their brain when dealing with GEJ during the transition time (from VP to acting president) while Ibori didnt. u really know what happened, but u don't blame him much, especially considering his status & level in Yar’Adua's govt. And he was still seeing Goodluck as d boy-boy that use to carry bag for DSP. that was just his error but we still prefer him to uduaghan & Okowa combined |

donogaga: The Last Don.
Even while he was in jail, James Ibori was still the political decision maker of Delta state. He served as the power behind the throne of Delta Gov, Ifeanyi Okowa from London Prison.
Until he fell out of favour with ‘the powers that be’ after the death of late President Umar Yar’Adua, James Ibori held sway not only in his political space in Delta State, but also within that of Nigeria.
A highly influential politician I must say, Ibori dominated the politics of Delta State, first as a governor, then as a kingmaker, succeeding in unilaterally installing his cousin, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan as his successor in 2007.
Take note, Ibori is not called Odidigborigbo of Africa for nothing. Even in far away London, in the United Kingdom, Ibori still wields enormous influence. He determines, to a large extent, who gets what, when and how in the oil-rich state.
He's so much loved back home.
He's The "Last Don" You just said it all. persons condemning him know nothing abt him or Delta |

Politics › Re: Camp Zero, Converge Point Of Boko Haram Which Soldiers Destroyed On 24th (Pics) by Bbklopsy: 9:03am On Dec 26, 2016 |
912: 1) Previously Boko Haram were in control of some Local Govts and some communities. They had their flags hoisted on those areas. When the Military reclaimed the last of them that was when you were told they no longer held territories. What that means is that they were not in control of any of such local govt or communities. Sambisa is a forest and boko haram uses it as their hideout.
2) The term Technically defeated doesn't mean that they have been annihilated. It simply implies that they have been beaten to the point where they will be unable to regain momentum or ability to raid towns and villages like they used to. If you read the news you will see that they only carry out gorilla attacks, ambush etc and not brazing face to face combats with the army like they used to. The top military officers you talk about were killed in one of those ambushes.
Let's stop the blind and unguided criticism and thank God for the success of the military. This is no longer APC or PDP, it is the lives of humans; the lives of our fellow Nigerians. so apc has turned sambisa to dessert? |
