[quote author=leo083 post=79122413]Good morning my nairaland family,

I want to share my testimony to encourage others in similar conditions

Wife Visa application: Nov 26 , 2017 to resume in NSW January 29 2018

First contact by case officer: January 25 2018, asked for Proof of relationship with sponsor, then UK refusal eveidence

Wife VISA granted about 7 days after school resumption; 6th February 2018

I applied with my kids as a subsequent entrant on a dependent Visa: August 6th 2018

VISA REFUSAL: October 22, 2018

DEVASTATED, ANGRY, CRIED SAD,DEPRESSED

Re applied November 22, 2018

Then the very LONG WAIT

NO CONTACT FROM THE CASE OFFICER

Sent them mail twice, January and March: the sent an automated response and then later that it’s still under consideration

WAITED AND WAITED

Then suddenly without contact from case officer, on a FRIDAY GOD DID IT

Visa granted : 7th June 2019

KEYS: GOD FACTOR : prayers, fasting
perseverance: through all the issues, long list.

Never give up friends in similar shoes.

IF GOD CAN DO MINE, HE CAN DO YOURS

Congratulations!!!
I tap into this blessing, God will do it for me too

[quote author=leo083 post=78064798]Good morning my nland friends.

Background; my wife was granted visa for MSc February 9th 2018, we (my self and 2 kids) applied as subsequent entrant(dependent Visa) August 26 2018, we were refused about 2 months later, we reapplied Nov 22, 2019. It’s over 5 months and the imni page still

The honest truth is that the reason why you were denied isn't because of the agent but that's the present situation of getting dependent visa. So many people that came into Australia since 2 years are on that shoe. Getting dependent visa now is not even up to 1% guaranteed. But all I can say to you is be prayerful and believe.

Now my advice to future applicants, make sure you apply for your student visa together with your family or else, you might dance to the same tune as people already here.

What do u do now? Dia is no fund yet in my account. And I am using an agent. I don't just know what to do. Someone should advice me pls. She applied since January and her school resumes in April.

Honestly, right now it seems late cos April is already around the corner. Just hope for the best in future, or better still confirm from your wife's agent to know if including you now is still possible.

All the best

Is that possible?... Because her own is onshore application because she's been in Australia since 18 months plus. She has about 30k AUD in her account before her application, but I do not have a convincing amount in my account. My intention was that if her own comes out, den we would fund my account and I apply after 3 months. We do not have any kid yet. Thanks so much

You are about to loose this golden opportunity. This is the best time you can get this visa. A friend of mine extended her visa to two years visa and included her husband and one child and they were giving just last month.

Getting a subsequent dependent visa now is less than 50 per cent, I mean it's very difficult. I don't know if it is late yet, but if it's possible just include yours now .

Good evening and thanks for all the contributions in the house... It has helped a great deal to so many people.

PLEASE, WHO HAS AN IDEA OF HOW MUCH I NEED TO HAVE IN MY ACCOUNT BEFORE APPLYING FOR SUBSEQUENT ENTRANT VISA. I want to use my account dis time. I used mg step brothers statement last yr but was refused. So I want to reapply. My wife has finished her 18months program and we applied for 2yrs visa extension to do another post graduate in nursing. I want to apply again if the visa extension comes out...although they have called her for medicals. So I need to arrange my self for my application. Pls I need help so that I can start sourcing for funds. Thank you ...I love dis familu

Why not apply together with your wife. Please, don't wait untill her visa is out before you apply.

Good day, please want to find out something from you. When you were applying to accompany your spouse as a dependent, did you need to get a leave of absence letter at your work place, or you didn’t need to talk about what you were doing in Nigeria in terms of work and all?

You need to include a letter from work dat will make your application look more genuine

Thanks so much for ur encouragements.....if I say so, does it imply dat am referring to visitor visa which in the real sense of it i dont want to go as a visitor. and asking for a month or 2 will it not mean unnecessary expenses as in going to spend 2 months now and applying again next yr...just my thoughts. But thanks so much my sister for ur contributions.

Yes bro, you apply under same subsequent entrant(visa 500) but with the reason that you are coming to visit your wife. The main thing is when the visa is granted it will be given the same duration with your wife's duration. I have a friend who got just one month insurance for her husband to come visiting and the husband was given same duration of visa with the wife.

All you need is the visa. Meanwhile which city is your wife based?

Do u think dia would be any difference If i apply again now? since my wife's visa is still on d same category ( student) and based on their flemzy reasons for d refusal ....I need a good advice on dis as I am not even thinking straight now.

Yes bro, if you ask me cos waiting until next year is not a good idea as your agent suggested. As some people suggested get a letter from your place of work that you are only going for just a month or so to visit your wife. If you have any other surpporting documents like landed property, you can also include them.

You can ask your wife to get a better migration agent over here whom will also help out on knowing how to package it this time.

Please reaply and don't wait till next year

I applied for a spouse visa on the 11th Oct 2017. To join my wife who's a post graduate student of Nursing in Ausy. Dis a snapshot of part of the refusal email where d stated dia reasons.

VISA GRANTED(Hubby, Child and I): 6th feb 2018. Thank you Jesus! God bless those behind this enlightening and informative forum, you are doing an amazing Job here. Thank you for helping me even without knowing it. I barely pass a day without passing over here to lift my spirit with those who got their Grant earlier. The prayers, the jokes(I can never forget the story of someone here who wrote about fasting until almost had ulcer, that day i laughed and also cried because that was my case), the encouragement here is massive, all these gave me the strength to hold on.... 8months of waiting no be beans my bros and Sis's but finally the God who fetches water with a basket to disgrace the bucket showed himself. To him i give all the glory. To all Visa hopefuls, please hang in there and pray for God will surely answer.

Congrats sis
