Romance / Live-in Relationship: The Two Sides Of A Coin. by bbstarr(f): 8:54pm On Aug 23, 2020 |
I got the inspiration to put up this post from a bollywood movie I watched some months ago “LUKA CHUPPI” which means hide and seek. It’s a story about two lovers who were cohabiting with each other without the knowledge of their parents. Some people frowned at it while some supported it including some elderly people. This got me thinking if live in relationship is actually good or not. Live_in relationship which can also be referred to as cohabitation is an arrangement where two people are not married but live together. Most times it involves active or frequent sexual acts. This arrangement is increasing in almost every part of the world even among the people whose religion frowns at it. Sometimes, the cohabitation can be for a long term or a short term but in most cases, it’s long term. Religiously and morally, it’s not so cool. Cohabiting automatically means frequent copulation and this is premarital sex. Even though premarital sex is a norm nowadays, it doesn’t mean it’s right. Most married people started their Marital journey from cohabiting. It’s working for some while it’s not working for a good number of people. Some even give birth to children while cohabiting before they decide to seal the union legally while some continue to cohabit till old age or till the grim reaper comes knocking. Looking at it from another aspect, cohabitation can actually expose some things about your lover that you are not aware of. Some hidden attitude or some shady things. Cohabitation can actually make you decide if you can live with this person for the rest of your life. There are lovers that do well while apart but the moment they are together, frequent unnecessary quarrels set in. It’s a two way thing! Now, I want to know what you think about live-in relationship. From your own perspective, is it good or not? Give reasons. https://naijacryptogirl.com/live-in-relationshipthe-two-sides-of-a-coin/ |

Religion / The Misconception About Secular Music And Movies. by bbstarr(f): 11:32am On Aug 19, 2020 |
Most of us are familiar with the word “secular”. When you hear that word, what are the things that pop out of your mind?I’m sure those things are unpalatable. Secular means something that is not connected with religious or spiritual matters. Something worldly, profane, unsanctified or unconsecrated. Well, I think we’re going too far about the way we term some great works as “secular”. To most people, anything secular is bad and not worthy of attention from anyone who is good or faithful to God. I disagree with this. Not all secular music or movies are evil. There are some music that talk about pure love, how to relate with people around us, the beauty of nature, unity among different tribes of people around the world. There are movies that are purely about history (Past occurrences or some powerful people who once lived). It’s so sad that these beautiful works are categorized in the same group with songs and movies that promotes Sexual immoralities, violence, nudity and all kinds of vices you can think of. I think a new word should be coined out for non religious songs and movies that actually portray something good. We’re made to believe that anything secular is bad and a good believer should flee from them. If I listen to Blue ridge mountains by Joan Shelley, Which talks about nature, does that means I’ve diverted from the good path? Sweet Jamaica by Eric Donaldson is a song that talks about the beauty of Jamaica, the hills, valleys, the sea, the good attitude of the people towards tourists etc. It’s a beautiful song! “Iyawo Mi” by Timi Dakolo is a very beautiful love song that is void of profane words unlike the way most love songs are. There are songs that talk about the gift of life, why and how we should respect life by fleeing from violence. I won’t dispute the fact that some secular songs are actually nothing to write home about and someone with good morals should never listen to those songs or watch those movies. Songs that promotes nudity, immoralities, fraud, maiming and killings, etc . Yet, I still believe there are several secular songs and movies out there that actually portray something good. Am I deviating from the good path if I listen to and watch the good “secular” music and movies? What are you opinions about “Secular” music and movies? www.naijacryptogirl.com

Romance / You're A Bloody Cheat! by bbstarr(f): 9:00pm On Aug 17, 2020 |
Does this statement ring a bell? Did you remember an incident by merely reading the topic? Have you been told this statement before? Have you told someone this statement before? I’m sure some of us have a lot of stories to tell. Contrary to the popular belief that cheating is only when you have sex with someone else aside your partner. This isn’t true, the moment you’re getting sneaky with chats, you’re already cheating. There’s nothing like accidental sex, something must have been happening before, maybe sex chats, lewd inner thoughts or flirting. Nothing hurts more than discovering that the person who claim to love you is actually cheating on you. The worst is when this person is proud to be a cheat. If you’re no longer feeling a legal union or a relationship, why not separate instead of cheating on the acclaimed “sweetheart”. Cheats don’t retire, they’ll continue to cheat even after getting married with kids. Do not ignore the warning signs in a relationship, it might become blown beyond expectations during marriage. I’ve seen a case of a guy who cheated on his lady and he was proud of it to the extent of picking up his phone to tell his lady he cheated on her and he has no apology. I’ve seen girls who openly cheat on their man and see nothing wrong with it. What’s your opinion about cheating? Is it right? Is it a normal thing? Have you been cheated on? Have you cheated on someone? Share your experiences or opinions in the comment box. Thank you www.naijacryptogirl.com 1 Like

A state of someone who lacks financial resources or material possessions for a minimum standard of living is known as poverty. As long as a man can’t satisfy his most basic needs, he’s said to be poor. This could be as a result of having low income that could not meet the primary needs. Now the question goes thus, is living in poverty a choice or fate ? We’ve seen several families or people around us who have no decent roof over their heads or have enough healthy foods to eat. They can’t even afford good medical treatment whenever they fall sick? Are they not hardworking enough or fate isn’t smiling at them? Some state of poverty are self-induced. If you’re not ready to get your ass up and do something tangible for yourself, you’re already writing an invitation letter to poverty. Some category of people are actually lucky, they don’t have to work or undergo stress before they can afford these primary and secondary needs. The case is different for a whole lot of people. Now back to the question. Can we say being poor is as a result of your choice or fate isn’t benevolent enough. In my opinion, I think poverty is a choice. You might be born without a silver spoon but you’ve been given the free will if you want to acquire a golden spoon or a wooden spoon for yourself. Coming from a humble background is not an excuse for your current state. Are you doing anything to change your position or you think fate will do its work? What’s your opinion about this? Is being poor a personal choice or a natural occurrence of fate. I’d love to hear from you in the comment section. https://naijacryptogirl.com/poverty-a-choice-or-fate/ |
