gathering my visa application documents...please what do u guys think about this:

i want to use my uncles accounting firm as sponsor
wit almost 80million SOA
thou he his the owner, but partnering firm to an american firm
stating that his firm grants me a schlorship to study a year prog of 18k tuition and 10k accomodation/feeding.

is it possible to use it that way or what do u guys suggest ?

I guess it can be possible if only the money /grant would be transferred to your salary account with the company and also provide all necessary documents from the company and explain why they intend to sponsor u

I just received a mail from cic accra telling me that I need further medical examinations. I have a couple of questions. Please help me.
1) Should I be scared? Because I genuinely am already.
2) Does anyone know the reason for this? I believe I don't have any health condition apart from short sightedness and being fat. I belive fatness is not a disease.
3) Did anyone know someone who had to do another medical examination?
4) Do I have to pay for the new examination?

when submitting paper application, they don't collect original certificates from you only photocopies are accepted.

Alright man, just make the living cost and accomodation fee clear. Applicants have to know the money they are depositing in the university's account is still the money they are going to use for their daily expenses over there.

That amount is not for accomodation. Rather, it's the living cost for a year and you don't need to transfer the fund before you are granted admission. A statement of account or sponsorship letter is enough at the application for admission stage.

After securing admission, you will have to transfer that amount into the university's account for visa application. Upon arrival in Norway, you will have access to your fund. It's your money.

There's already a thread about studying in Norway. Lots of helpful info there. Search for it.

You really need to read and understand post very well. my explanation above is exactly what you said just that you explained it another way.
I said you will apply with ur docs and statement of acc then if qualified for admission you will be given conditional offer after that you make payment for the living cost (accommodation) then you will be given admission and a letter to apply for visa.

pls everyone should take time to read every necessary information on their website for more understanding. I also took my time to read it
the accommodation fee is not an application fee. application is free, it's when they have seen all ur credentials and bank statement and they are satisfied after that they will issue you conditional offer then you will now be instructed to make payment because you already have conditional offer after they have confirmed ur payment they will issue you unconditional offer with letter to the embassy which guarantee ur studies in Norway.

According to the information I read on their website, you would have been given a conditional offer after they are being satisfied that truly you have such amount in your account or sponsor account before the issuance of admission before you are instructed to make payment. after the payment the school will now send you a letter that guarantee your studies to be presented at the embassy .
when you get to Norway every expenses like accommodation,feeding and other would be free throughout your academic year.
You would be issued a study permit in as much the school has confirmed ur payment, the school will address the embassy in the letter about ur studies.

No.....I would have loved to apply but the condition of transferring that accommodation Money to the school account before the issuance of unconditional offer that discouraged me. I don't have such amount of money for that,so I felt some people might have interest and be able to pay for their accommodation.
I guess the process shouldn't take up to one month, just check the application date for admission

I advice you contact the department you're interested in..... I think if the course is not competitive you might be lucky for as many students from other countries are applying as well.

I got little info for those who are interested in studying in Norway,their tuition is free but....

1. you only pay little money for semester fee depending on the University.
2. then you must prove some amount of money in your account as evidence of accommodation and feeding.
3. after given the conditional letter of admission,the school will instruct you to transfer that amount of accommodation into their university account to be issued unconditional letter
4. then you are now eligible for visa application
5. upon receiving of your visa,you can now travel for studies free and they will provide you your own accommodation and feedings over there, students are eligible to work.

My first time I went there last week, we that submitted app that day wasn't more than 9 .I was surprised to see Canadian embassy like that but later I thought maybe most people were submitting online app.

You could buy the ticket then when you gets to Ukraine you would resell it to some Nigerians coming home for summer. so many would be coming home for summer just sell it to them when you get there.

when I travelled then I had only one trip ticket and so many people,immigration officer don't really look at that probably you could ask the agent may be it's mandatory now. what I know they looks at is ur credentials may be legalized and translated then ur medicals as well.
just contact that school agent before buying the round tickets

A friend of mine did same thing and it worked for him,but if you would do same make sure ur father provide all necessary documents for you and write the reason why he has deposited such sum of money in your account . then leave the rest for God.

This sponsorship issue, my 2 cents, if you want to convince the V.O a bit, why not let ur sponsor make a deposit into your account with the payment remark addressing the purpose? Instead of showing how rich your sponsor his by his opening and closing balance.

I guess you are right, someone told me about this idea and it worked for him.
I guess some of us should try it and inform our sponsor to transfer the remark money into our running personal account then provide all necessary documents to back that up. the sponsor should prove why he has made such transfer and provide all necessary documents from him and his place of work.
I guess this would stand as an evidence that the funds are available for your proposed studies.
I stand to be corrected.

Good morning house, I apply for undergraduate,business administration. Documents I submitted are spnosorship statement of account,spnosorship letter,sponsorship ID card with tax payment and CAC, student statement of account with the letter from my current company stating I have been give permission to study abroad, police report, land properties document. I believe I did submit all documents they wanted to see and I was called for medical which I pass. So I don't know what they mean by all this reasons of refusal.

Please could anyone explain briefly why would the visa officer call someone for medical and the person passed it but still refused a visa. what's the essence of wasting someone money for medical?

Don't be in a haste to reapply so that they won't say that you're desperate for the visa.
Look at the refusal letter.....
1. it was clearly stated that ur income you claimed to have been receiving was not the actually amount deposited monthly

2. some money was deposited for some time to time ie (base on the date written on the letter ) which you could not provide proves for it as an evidence.
My Opinion is that you should wait and build your account again for 6months and reapply. Note
1. if you are not receiving additional income avoid any strange deposit in ur account that you can not prove.
2. make sure that the salary / income you claimed to have been receiving is still the same amount deposited in your account for the next 6months you are running the account. ie let it be actual amount, don't reduce it or increase during the 6months.
3. then let the available balance be enough for your trip by the time you want to print ur statement.

Everything is fine,it is highly acceptable .....just that 9ja economy is not stable now,SO it is quite hard for companies to pay good salary .....I am working in the family company now, though still thinking of furthering my master programme.

1. my sister to be Frank with you ,you can't get job base on ur profession in Europe but you can only get petty jobs to do and survive with it,even in UK now no more jobs after studies. if you think it is okay for you to do petty jobs in Europe then after ur studies in Ukraine or during summer you can apply for schengen visa or UK.

2. As for me I am already in Nigeria,since 2yrs back after my studies over there.
