An Adamawa chieftain Alhaji Musa Joda has spoken on the controversy surrounding the true nationality of the presidential aspirant of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
Few days ago, the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu had alleged that Mr Abubakar is of Cameroonian descent. This has elicited mixed reactions from Nigerians as many see it as one accusation too many. It will be recalled that former Nigerian president chief Olusegun Obasanjo had also stated in his book ‘My watch’ that Atiku’s parental background was shadowy. The president of the Miyetti Allah cattle breeders’ association had also described Atiku’s claim to be a Fulani man as false stating that even by physical appearance, Atiku bear no semblance of the Fulani tribe but rather has the physical features of the Bantu tribe.
Speaking on this, Alhaji Musa Joda who hails from Jada local government says it is mischievous for anyone to say Atiku is not from Adamawa state or Nigeria as it is very easy to prove. “When I was little, I remember we had several migrants from the neighboring Cameroonian villages who settled in our communities. One common feature they all had was the position their immunization scar. While we had just one of those scars on our arms, the Cameroonians had it both on their arms and their buttock. You know we took our bath together in the same river. So that was how we identified kids from Cameroon. The immunization scar on their buttock. If Atiku is really from Cameroon as is been alleged, then he should have the scar on his buttock also.” Mr Joda said.

That's what is freaking me out.

There is this guy in my neighborhood. One of my guys actually. I came back home and my sister was telling me how the guy is dating my youngest sister. Mr Peter Obi, the vice presidential candidate of the PDP is a man I have always respected. People keep talking about how he was reeling out fake figures during the debate, I actually understand with him because at that age, it is not easy to cram figures like that. What actually bothered me was his poor grasp of little issues. The man Peter Obi is someone who is perceived to be in intelligent and knowledgeable but his response to some basic issues was highly disappointing and somewhat gave him away as a noisemaker. some of such lapses are itemized
1. When asked about the African continental free trade agreement, if Nigeria should have signed or not, Mr Obi wobbled and said a lot of things which ended up amounting to nothing. It was when Osibanjo spoke on the issue that Peter Obi had an idea of what it was and decided to attack the government about not consulting adequately before going into the agreement. Prof again had to lecture him that the consultations were done before they came into power. (started 2012)
2. After the prof explained why Nigeria didn’t sign the agreement, Obi was trying to argue that goods brought in from china cannot be cheaper than locally manufactured goods. Whattt! Everyone who does buying and selling knows this.
3. Obi tried to cover that up by saying Chinese goods are cheaper because labor is cheap in China. But just like prof told him, it’s not because of the labour, there are several other factors that affect the cost price of good. That is simple JSS 2 business studies. Power is the major problem in our case.
4. On subsidy, while prof was telling us subsidy is necessary because if subsidy is removed, the standard of living will increase and Nigerians will feel the pain. Obi argued that only 2 million Nigerians drive cars hence, Nigerians will not feel such effect. This argument shows obi is disconnected from the larger society. He doesn't know the lifestyle of the ordinary Nigerian.
5. Finally, Obi said you cannot lock up your shop and be chasing criminals. Wrong! Rule number 1 says protect your investment. The criminals in this case are those that have already stolen your goods and you can see them. The right thing to do is to go after them and recover your goods.
On a final note, what I admire about Peter Obi is his ability to keep a straight face while lying. He reminds me of a classmate in secondary school. His lying abilities always saves us from trouble.

Donald Trump refered to Buhari as lifeless. I don't understand why there is so much ado about that. Everyone one has this foul thought about others. Maturity and a sound upbringing teaches us to keep such thoughts to ourselves. Mr Trump obviously lacks this traits. He has constantly said foul things about everyone he has met. it his obvious his aids don't really like him that's why they always get those statements out.
Now, why would Mr Trump call Buhari a lifeless person. The reason is simple. To someone like Trump, living the kind of life Buhari lives means not living at all. If you were to put the both of them on the pH scale, Trump will have a value of 1 (very acidic) while Buhari will be around 14 (absolutely basic).
Trump parties, Buhari doesn't.
Trump drinks, Buhari doesn't.
Trump whores and brags about his exploits with prostitutes, Buhari doesn't.
Trump is not religious, I believe he has said some foul things about God too. Buhari is a devout Muslim.
Trump is vulgar and speaks without caution. Buhari is morally upright.
Trump loves to enjoy life to the fullest. He is a billionaire. Buhari is a modest guy whoose definition of success is not by material wealth.
