It's (sad) that I came to the screening of this wonderful series so late, and missed virtually all the episodes and seasons. Although na so I dey like watch Series but this one dey (worrisome) as I missed everything so.

A lot of things were said and lots of insinuations made, some rightly, some wrongly, but a couple of questions were also raised, some which when you take a semi-critical look at them, questions the morals of a lot of peeps on this our beloved thread. @Enterpro: you raised some of those questions, let me just highlight one of them: how come only one person out of the persons he had transactions with raised the alarm, knowing fully well, who they were 'purportedly' dealing with? Would we say @onatisi is right in his 'jazz' assertion, (albeit if jokingly) or is it the greed of pulling one over your 'competition' that made these peeps keep quiet?

Why were we flogging peeps who were advocating for adopting the stance of 'innocent until proven guilty?' or labeling some peeps as 'newbies' just because they chose to believe that every coin has two sides (even our beloved bitcoin sef)

@Dragnet: you asked if anyone could explain the zenith 'coincidence'...ever heard of mistaken identity or ID theft? what if I told you I once dated a babe with th same surname and first name as me? And her last name (she was Yoruba and you know how yorubas dey always give plenty names...she had like 8official and a couple of 'oriki' names) coincidentally, was my 2nd/middle name. Lol no bi so, I never reach that level . Infact na me mail the man oh when their staffs were busy suspending my account as a result of the conflicting cards and requesting for my account statement to be faxed to them. They tweaked their system twice for me, and the third time I was asked to create different amazon accounts to correspond with each card details as they were unable to tweak again for me since their security settings did not permit them to do so.

Different user experiences...lol.

Depends on how he sends. If he sends as payments for goods or services, the fees are on you if he uses family and friends (international) if his paypal supports that, the fees are on him.

Yes, very sure. If is from unsupported country, he can still try it. Before paypal accepted Nigeria I was using Benin Republic paypal with Nigeria card and it worked successfully till my card expired and gtbank messed things up for me. Though there was a time paypal made it that your paypal account and your card must have the same country name but I don't know if is still possible.

And I thought I was a paypal guru...what a joke!

He can add it, I think it all depends on his previous transactions on Paypal. All the 8 cards in my second paypal account have different names and addresses so I will say is possible.

Ok, my personal experience when I tried adding a friend's gtbank card to my paypal. Maybe they've changed things or maybe mine just didn't work anyways @NextDayPn, like @mavinc4u said, go ahead and try adding it and see if it works.

When I tried way back then, there was no option to input card holder name, just the number, expiry date and Security, so it automatically assumes your name, which made it impossible to do. That was my experience.

I have a paypal account which I use occasionaly to shop online with my UBA and Diamond cards. My first question is, can I still use any of these cards to shop on aliexpress. I have been hearing some cards have been barred from international use, but I can see from here GTB can still be used with limit.

My second question is, can I add a friend GTB card to my paypal, can paypal see the card is not issued in my name, or do I just create a new paypal account in my friends name and make my orders in his name. He does not do online anything, he was using it to trade currency between Nigeria and Benin Republic before and now the business has stopped, so he is willing to let me use it to keep the account active.

You can't add a card that is not in your name to your paypal account.
