ionsman:I am in rivers and there was an election. In my area, ppl voted PDP. Infact in my ward, it ws PDP all the way. Amaechi is d downfall of Dakuku.....APC also rigged the election. I have a friend in my area. He was given money to share wif some of his friends to snatch balot boxes which he did but he was fooled. APC thugs had to beat up family love and rhythm fm reporters in ogoni land. If the election was a total sham as they say, why did APC win in Eleme both in the governor n house of assembly elections. Why didn't the PDP go there and shoot as ppl claim they r the doing? In buguma, where they say there were serious gun shots, it was done by APC So many allegations here n there. Let APC accept and try harder next time. There is no where in the world were elections are 100 percent perfect |
macof:Must you be this racial in your comments? Very unfortunate! Here is an intellectual discourse and here you are making a racist comment. Is there anything wrong in mentioning Yoruba people in the annals of history? I repeat very unfortunate! I can feel your next line of comment! |
newmuzik:That was just a projection before the election. So that can not be the projection now with the results flying in. But let's be calm and wait for jega |
Excuzeme:The ELECTORAL ACT as amended I think in 2010 speaks clearly on the issue of result sheet. Especially when or at what point should the result sheet be provided. Please you can refer to that act for an answer. Buhari's certificate saga negates the law in the electoral act. The issue in Buhari's case is not just whether he has a certificate but also that did he submit his purported credentials with his Inec form? He said he thought his certificate was with the military hence the affidavit. The question here is why did he have to assume? Why not do your verification first from the military before the affidavit. Its was obvious he did not do that....which to me is faulty. The military later on denied the fact. Hence the statement of result he later on brought out ....which to me is late and filled with lots of anomaly. I want to believe the case is in court. I had to delve a lot into Buhari's issue because it is totally different from Amaechi's blunder |
Exigency:Amaechi's cousin who registered in the same PU actually voted. The APC party agent there signed the result sheet so why this wahala? |
lastpage:The answer --there is no result sheet means that he is not authorised to show the result sheet to Amaechi cos he is not a party agent. |
lastpage:Why did he not wait till when voting started or after the counting. How did you know he got a call? Were you with him? He was part of a system that he felt betrayed him. But who is betraying who? |
XBLadez:Haba! The thing never reach like this na! Politicians are drinking tea with one another. Una dey here dey curse una sef. |
smartleo:The opposition will always complain.....that has been an issue or trend since 10BC! If they have complaints and evidences of their claim, they should go to court. |
OlusoGreat:Is Amaechi a party agent assigned to that polling unit? Even if you say he is Buhari's presidential agent, he went there as a voter and not as a governor or agent. Having said that, what did the electoral act say about result sheet? You are not allowed to show that document to any other person apart from the party agents. So Amaechi faulted there. The electoral act was so clear about that sensitive document......So why is he causing trouble? Even if they go to court, they don't have any case. My brother.......the sheet will only be shown to the party agent and not to the electorate that is what the electoral act as amended said. Even in the south west, some inec officers filled the result sheet at the collation centres so why the wahala in rivers? |

PassingShot:As far as am concerned prediction or not, the final result from INEC is the BOMB..... All this permutation and combination to me is just on the face value.... Let's wait till the final result from jega. |
SPINA101:Unconfirmed! |
queenbetty1:Haba! Take am easy now! E never reach like this o! Politics is not war neither a do or die affair. If you win...you win and if you lose....you gradually step aside. Nice smile! |
tylesh:Really dear? His wish? You never can tell. Politics and the voting pattern can be funny u know. Lots permutation and mathematics involved. |
Bevista:There is the tendency that GEJ will have an in road in NW nd NE... The voting pattern can be funny....u never can tell. |
Bevista:6 from 12 assuming theses are the actual figures, it shows GEJ is getting his 25% in Ogun state and also 2/3. However, its still not the authentic result so I don't regard it yet. Jega said it.....the actual result will come from his office. So let's be calm.....its not over yet. Stop the jubilation until the final result from jega. |
efilefun:Please am trying to be objective here. So no insults....what is the percentage of workers in Benue? Are they the larget population their? Please we all need to understand the technicalities in voting pattern before we begin to conclude. However, I will still believe the result from INEC when they finally read out the whole results officially. That is from INEC HQ. |
Its so unfortunate when people come up with all sorts of comments that negates the very essence of what is happening to us as a country especially at these trying times. Factors making us have these austerity measure are not are fault as a country. People shout corruption....yes there is but what has been done to block the corruption. I read somewhere in her statement where she said something about e-collect and channeling that to a single account in CBN....my people that is a good way of check mating leakages. Corruption has been in existence in Nigeria right from when we got our independence but with all the actions geared towards curbing it over the years, has it stopped corruption? Rather corruption is becoming endermic. So the right way to the curb it just like she stated is to stop people having access to funds directly especially those in government. Make the political position not lucrative. That is a sharp change from the usual norm and you will agree with me that is if you are quite objective to issues like this that people particularly people at the helm of affairs would always kick against it. She (Okonji ) affirms to this pustulation. To be honest as much as I want more to be done with regards to the elevation of our economy, I will still give it to this woman. She is good. Can people check out the economy in Venezuela and some other oil producing countries? Nigeria is managing the situation better. We all have to come together as a nation in love and push this economy forward. We will not understand what the finance minister is doing until there is a new government |
Jega says stop posting fake results. And stop the jubilation yet with regards to some people perceiving a party is already winning. He said that don't look at the entire result but look at the individual performers in all the states. That is where the 25% and the 2/3 issue comes to focus |
Willie2015:And talking objectively now. You mean GEJ will not get the mandatory 25% in these your states you mentioned? Haba! Kai megida! |
Abrahamperkins22:Who owns TVC? All the same, there is no need for violence as far as am concerned. Both PDP and APC did commit their various electoral alleged malpractices.....its just that I think one was smarter than the other. But remember, the malpractices is alleged until proven in the law court! The Law has a way of twisting and turning issues/ facts. No wonder people making the laws will always want it to favour them in one way or the other. The electoral act for example, has contradicting laws with regards the result sheets. The question here is at what point should the INEC official present, show the result sheet for recording of voting results? I remember reading some comments from some ad hoc inec officials saying they had to fill there result sheet at the collation centre and not at the polling booth or unit. So what does that implies? These especially happened a lot in the SW. Why is PDP not protesting there also? I am not holding brief for PDP but am just trying to be objective |
I live in PH. And where I am, it is so peaceful. No protest! Election in my neighbourhood was peaceful. The issue of no result sheet did not present itself here. All the party agents here were cool with the conduct of the election yesterday. This was in PH main town. So why the protest? |
TopHand:Wait for the INEC official result then you will understand the technicalities involved in these election with regards to the Electoral ACT as amended. |
shiki:Those result sheets are fake. Let's wait for inec to release the correct results. All these online result will pose a great danger to the nation's stability |
frankscof:The electoral act says result sheet is sensitive material and would only be made available after voting. Its not a prerequisite to accreditation. So why the protest? |
The President and his wife have been accredited! To remind most people here........They keep saying that PDP has ruled for 16 yrs with nothing to show for it....ok agreed. Thank you very much but they have failed to understand that PDP is an acronym and also a nomenclature that is been steered by humans. Has anyone taking a critical look at the APC composition? Especially with regards to the people steering the affairs. You will notice if only they will be objective enough to see that 90% of the main people in APC were the same people that was in the so called 16yrs of failure! Can anyone tell me what has changed? Well the answer as far as am concerned is APC. All the people that made PDP a bad party are there now. What are we going to expect if they win? Leave Buhari, can Buhari alone steer the affairs there and in the economy alone? No and that's the truth. So PDP has been purged off the bad eggs. Vote wisely |
Ironi:My brother, don't you think you really need to understand the rules of engagement they all signed? The border fronts were to be handled by the allied forces while the southern fronts were to be handled by the Nigerian military. Which means that mop up activities would be done in these places and gradually moving up north towards the border. I just think these is purely political. |
babadee1:Yes! Better late than never! |
clubone0501:That was an unfortunate collateral damage which is quite regrettable but taking a critical look at it, if you will be objective in reasoning and avoid sentiments please, you will notice, find that GEJ was arm twisted. Arm twisted because when he started the fight against boko haram with Ihejirika at the helm of affiars, what did Buhari, EL rufai and the northern elders forum say? Initially, America did not include boko haram in the list of terrorist group which enabled them boko haram to buy arms and equipped themselves. Why did America never wanted to sell arms to us? Why did the northern forum say that the FG should dialogue with boko haram? When the US finally listed them in the terrorist list were the Northern elders forum happy? What was (NEF) their response? It was until they found out that the boko harams were now killing virtually everybody moslems and Christians then they began to mount pressure on the president to do something quickly. It was late for the president cos he had to start shopping for arms by all means no thanks to US blackmail. GEJ also had to begin to scout for allied forces cos terrorism cannot be fought alone. U can ask America. Thank GOD for Russia and her likes, GEJ was able to get arms after lots of trials n failure. And also the agreement for the allied forces was also put in place with some international backing like france. So you see why GEJ was arm twisted..... The most important thing is it is better late than never! And I thank GOD, we are winning the war against Boko haram. Don't blame GEJ. |
