taharqa: Will this mignet of a President keep his fhuccking mouth SHUT for goodness sake!!! Imagine the insolence!! Chad??
When an army anywhere in the world liberates a territory, it does mop up operations for as much as it takes to clear the territory and it's surrounding of the insurgents and then HOLDS THE PLACE for as long as it is necessary to secure complete victory. You don't drive out the insurgents today, call the global media tomorrow, leave the day after and expect a different army which did not initially participate in the fight and so would not fully understand the fluidity of the operating security situation to take over and hold the town almost immediately for you. That is jus fooolishness. What for fhucck's sake is the role of Chad in the multinational operation then?? You have only liberated 3 or 4 towns close to the border, and you cannot hold these towns for some time?? You are expecting another army that is extremely busy fighting the same war in 3 other different fronts to come and hold the small territories you've liberated for you.
The Nigerian Military is currently operating in 3 States and an area said to be bigger than Belgium in size. It has recovered over 42 towns (including the largest and most difficult of former towns held by BH) and about 14 LGA from Boko haram. It has succeeded in carrying mop up operations in all these territories and is HOLDING EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. Not a single one of these liberated territory on the Nigerian side have fallen back to the terrorists since their liberation. Yet the loudmouthed Chad cannot do the same in just only 3 or 4 it has liberated. Why the helll did they then agree to be part of the MNJF in the 1st place??
I think it is about time any sane Nigerian, unfortunately not all of us are sane judging from some of the comments on this thread already, began to ask what the real interests of the Chadians are in this war against Boko haram.
I no Blame dem sha. Na Nigeria wey allow them enter in the 1st place I blame That's a good analysis! Chad, Niger and Cameroon fight from the border front and protect that territory while Nigerian army fight from the south moving towrds the border. Please can the chad president keep to his side of the contract and stop ranting? |

yokiti: I saw this somewhere else and its a good eye opener as we cast our votes. . After 6weeks of waiting, March 28; 2015 is just in few hours, if there is one thing we both agreed, Dr. GEJ the President became active during this period than we have seen in the last 6 years. He relocated to South West with Lagos as the headquarters. Boko haram was fought with a level of seriousness we have never seen, electricit y tariff of a privatised company was reduced, the political landscape was allegedly dollarised as our Obas, entertainers, bloggers, various groups got their share of there national cake. Suddenly, various ethnic militias which we all thought had gone into extinction or political asylum came back after getting their share of the national cake, various anti JEGA, anti-PVC and anti Card Reader law suit and protest started. Then, they showed us that the best way to fight corruption is to show us documentary of selected individuals with/without immunity, the long Queues in our Petrol Stations started and the DSS which is supposed to be our own equivalent of American CIA started commenting on petrol scarcity. To my suprise, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro was confirmed as a Minister even while the Ekiti-gate allegations hangs over his neck. As for me, the issues of monumental corruption, clueless Leadership and Impunity which are pathoglomonic of this administration are still staring us in the face. As we go to the polls in a few hours, a Government that underestimates the lives of the citizenry allowing a religious sect to grow only to wake up few weeks to election doesn't deserve to be re-elected, our economy as it stands is in comatose and needs urgent attention. We can't do the same thing, in the same way and expect a different result. If there are no event, history cannot be made, let's together make history and rewrite the wrongs of April 2011. The time is now, sitting on the fence isn't an option, its either we continue on this clueless path and face the consequences or give another team a chance to prove to us that things can be done differently. #I have decided long ago #.Vote Buhari/ Osinbajo. All na wash! |

A word is enough for the wise. When he said he will use soldiers for the election, what was the reaction? A court injunction restraining him from that. Who are you to blame? I pray for #change in this country before its too late. Why will someone shoot at him? A sitting governor with all his security attache. You will know that the police would have interrogated the security officials attached to him for information before coming up with the press release. Don't you think so? |

appini: Even Aljazeera reported the news as if they were there.
They have been showing Amaechi since morning accrediting all sorts of giant strides to him in the educational sector in Nigeria.
It baffles me that Aljazeera has not even spotted a single area that GEJ has done anything good.
I want to say it again that when we are ready for them, it's going to be brutal.
A word is enough for the wise. Even the so called educational strides Amaechi did. In what party did he accomplish the strides? PDP of course. I live in PH. In his first tenure, he did well but I just don't know what went into his thick skull during his second tenure. I remember now.....he wanted GEJ to meddle in the tussle of oil well between Rivers n Bayelsa states. Of which GEJ declined. Now he is blaming GEJ for giving the Soku/Oluasiri oil well and oil fields to Bayelsa. This issue has been an issue long before GEJ was fully involved in politics. The boundary commission have painstakingly analysed the position of the oil well and oil field, and deemed it fit to pronounce that the said oil well n field was in Bayelsa. This submission was done in the 90's Why is Amaechi blaming GEJ? That was the beginning of his misbehavior towards the presidency......Hence he joined APC and since he joined APC has he commissioned any project? He is busy going around canvassing for vote for Buhari all over the nation, leaving his state unattended. You see him crying foul now is because his deputy jumped ship. And that is also why he is around now. OIL is the main issue behind this whole political tussle. |

Had GEJ been smart, he would have deferred his stealing to the second term. Today it is a shame that Goodluck had to resort to a Campaign of Bribery and Deceit with 19th Century Trains, few Almajiri schools and Universities as achievements in the midst of no fuel, no power, mass unemployment, poverty and deprivation, N230 exchange rate, corruption etc. Do not sit by your computer alone but pass this message around to your uninformed brothers and Sisters in the villages that we should not compensate a confirmed rogue with a re-election. fxskye: FFK and His Blatant Lies.......If true, then it's another reason that PDP is a Clueless & Dumb Party. Well very unfortunate you just said that. INEC is an independent body that is backed by law to carry out her functions, therefore they are entitled to look for contractors to do their jobs for them, the president does not have anything to do with the internal workings of INEC. The only authority from the president is to appoint the INEC boss and fund it. After which a comprehensive report from INEC would be made available later to the presidency. Having said this, does this make the president clueless? When a sitting president is trying not to interfere in INEC, u are calling him clueless If he now begins to interfere, what then will u call him? A report has been made public of what is going on in INEC with regards to its internal affairs however bogus u may think it is, there may be an iota of truth in it. So the right thing for the necessary authorities is to investigate which is what I believe they are doing. So why are people beginning to see it as a clueless effort. I said it before and I will say it again, APC have been doing some mago mago with peoples PVC details in exchange for money. And that's the truth! |

Wow! Now I understand why APC has been collecting PVC details from people that I know very well in my neighbourhood in exchange for money. Ranging from 3k 10k.
Even as at yesterday, some couple of people in portharcourt were given 10k each to sell their PVC details
They said that the APC people told them that they don't need to vote again. I wonder what that means.
This is true! The lady in my compound confirmed it and infact, I was there when she received the call.
APC have been calling people to canvass for votes well to me that's not a big deal but my worry is the sharing of money in exchange for their PVC details.
Anothing the lady told me is that they had to put their names down vis a vis the PVC details.
If going by the OP info, it means that the observation by ffk could be true.
I would not want to expose the name of my neighbour . That will be unfair to her. APC, this is wrong! |

otemanuduno: Breaking News: CHIBOK GIRLS FOUND The effort of the military has paid well when the Chibok's girls were discovered in a large tent today. According to the leader of the troops who carried out the attack on in insurgents, the Nigerian Armies caught them unawares when the Boko Haram members were busy taking their bath in a river close to the Gwoza camp. This is a very good development for the Federal Government who have relentlessly been searching everywhere for the girls before narrowing down their search to Gwoza on Thursday, as opposed to Sambisa forest which has remained the purported refuge of the kidnappers.
1. One of the soldiers said, 'It is a big surprise to see that the girls are all hale and hearty, an indication that the islamist extremists has taken good care of them. Amidst what we saw in their domicile are crates of eggs, honey, tins of milk, etc.
2."Another spokesperson for the military said that a man fled, whose back part appears to be that of Shekau when he saw the FG troops. He fled with an android device and a 200megapixel camera, because a pieces of the camera fell while he was fleeing."
The parents of the Chibok's girl are highly expectant to meet their children, but the president has said that Gwosa is not safe for the meeting, therefore he has ordered that the Chibok's girls be flown to Abuja immediately while their parents would come for them later in the day, after the election.
One of the parents was quoted, saying, "I saw my girls on camera. Thank God for Goodluck Jonathan. In Sha Allah, you shall win the election ongoing today." She also urged all good Nigerian citizens to vote for the incumbent president because he is the man who can truly bring salvation to the nation.
March 28, 2015 7:55 a.m
Analysis of the bolded:
A woman has already said that the Boko Haram are taking good care of the girls, so it will not be absurd if our actors (soldiers) say that they found Milo, Bournvita, Honey and Moringa Oleifera in the camp of the Chibok's girls. This will then complement what that paid woman said in the first place.
Also, the Chibok's girl we will see with the soldiers will be healthy-looking, an indication that they are all taken care of. Why? If the FG rents battered Chibok's girls, people will believe that they have been molested by the BH members and the song of hate on GEJ will continue.
The second bolded talks about a Shekau who fled during the attack and whose camera was damaged. The Shekau will release an audio clip instead and will say, "Even though you have the Chibok's girl, the battle is just beginning because our sponsor is still alive." With this, everybody will think that BUHARI is the sponsor the 'fake' Shekau is talking about.
With this propaganda on election day, many BUHARI fans will change their minds as well as many illiterates and vote for GEJ, giving him a landslide victory.
Also, internet access will be very poor that day, so that the real SHEKAU could find it difficult to post anything to the media.
NOW THIS PDP PROPAGANDA WILL NOT TAKE EFFECT IF YOU AND I CAN SPREAD THIS NEWS FAR AND WIDE BEFORE THE NEWS COMES UP FOR REAL TOMORROW OR VERY EARLY ON ELECTION DAY. PUT IT ON YOUR WHATSAPP, YOUTUBE, FACEBOOK AND ON NL PAGES.
WE NEED CHANGE!!! Who is already spreading the propaganda? Smh! |

adeoladele: BREAKING NEWS: Alhaji Sani Musa the contractor who handled the contract for the Card Reader and PVCs on behalf of INEC has been arrested and detained by the DSS over spurious allegation that he is a supporter of General Muhammadu Buhari. The DSS drew that conclusion based on a Facebook update that was provided by Femi Fani- Kayode where the said Alhaji Musa declared his support for Buhari. He has been in detention since yesterday at the DSS headquarters where he is being coerced to release the codes of the card readers to the government. Unfortunately he does not have the codes as the agreement between the supplier, INEC and the Chinese manufacturer of the card readers was that the codes shall be kept secret and be known only to the Chinese until June 2015, before they release the codes to INEC. What is going on is a collaboration between the PDP led Government and the DSS to discredit the electoral process by questioning the credibility of the source of the card readers. Is Adeshola the same name as Adesola? Is an Orisha the same as Orisa? Is the Ibo language the same as Igbo? Ever heard of standardization?
Now answer this: has the Cambridge examination board repudiated the results attributed to it? Recall that it was quick off the mark to issue two press releases, to put FFK and the TAN movement out of their misery on other matters. Would it not have made sense to restrain Katsina college from peddling false results also? Think man!

Continue clutching at straws U mentioned standardization, what has standardization got to do with filling correction information in a form? If ur Mohammed in one of ur document nagates mohammadu in another of ur document, would you say its standardization as u put it? In documentation, it means both document belongs to different people. Except u swear an affidavit stating the right name that will then make the other valid. Why is it that if u fill a form and you have an error you counter sign on that error? Is it not to make the document or form valid There are rules in simple documentation. Anyway the suit is why did buhari not submit his credentials along with the form he filled Why did he say his credentials were with the military when he knew that it can be gotten like he has claimed already. Why did he fill in the form that he is a civil servant? You know the truth but you are just been sentimental my opinion though no harm intended |

Who told you it is possible to get a certificate for an examination held more than 50 years ago, in 2015, TANoid @k9ine?
When are you untutored clowns going to understand that things worked a little differently in the 1960s? Or that 'University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate' (UCLES) no longer exists in its original form.
For one; all enquiries relating to certificates of exams held that far back, must now go to 'Oxford, Cambridge and RSA Exams' (OCR) - a new examination board
Source: Get a replacement exam certificate -- https://www.gov.uk/replacement-exam-certificate/if-your-old-exam-board-no-longer-exists
And two; OCR would only provide a 'certifying statement of results' - the equivalent of the same document already provided by Katsina college - and not an original CERTIFICATE.
*** Refer to screen shot attached, for further information.
APC issued a warning, simple. If you look around you, you will find that no upstanding Nigerian of repute has ever repudiated Buhari's claim of fulfilling the qualifying the criteria; which is nothing more than a secondary school certificate. That a section of the political class led by the likes of FFK and the TAN movement have decided to milk the issue of a sworn affidavit for all its worth, is the greatest testimony that Jonathan's administration is bereft of ideas! I say this because anyone with an ounce of sense knows fully well that this was the same tactic employed by the so-called truthists (Tea-Party) movement in the United States, on account of Obama's birth certificate.
It is up to you to show that you are capable of rising above sentiments, by providing more germane arguments rather than the asinine logic you have rehashed here. The case against buhari is a 10 faceted case. The issue of buhari having a statement of result or certificate is part of it. The issue is why did buhari not submit his certificate along with the form he submitted. Why swear an affidavit when he knew he could have gotten this same statement of result he presented ? Why did he not do a due diligence with the military with regards to the reason for the affidavit before submitting his form? Why did he assume his certificate is with the military? Now looking at the supposed statement of result, it is glaring that there were some discrepancies-- In documentation, is Mohammadu the same with mohammed? Let's be sincere. We know him as mohammadu and I am sure all other documents he has is written mohamadu. Don't go telling me that mohamadu is the same with mohamed. That could be accepted from the face value but also that can be debated too! When you are filling an information( personal info or otherwise) it behooves on you to fill the correct thing with regards to the evidences you have that can be verifiable and also behooves on you that you don't put false info that will negate ur integrity. Its an interesting case no doubt! But I believe the rule of law will always prevail |

Mind you, the accuser will have to provide evidence that he did not qualify. The laws will not be scrutinised and interpretations sought? These may take days if not weeks. The judge will just disqualify him. Mind you even the other cases for determination will still take time. Those judges are smatter than that. Even if payed, they will meander out using technicalities as excuses. I think you are missing a point here. The law suit against him is about 10. One of them says he did not submit his certificate along with his form thus guilty of the electoral act and the 1999 constitution where appropriate. That is a fact that has no basis for argument. Some other suits says his certificate he finally tendered is filled with lots of discrepancies which is also in black and white. Another suit says he filled wrong information in his forms that negate his claims. So what other counter evidence does the defendant wants to tender again. The laws are very clear about these issues! Yes the defendants might want to bring in some law gimmicks but the Judge is smart. APC knows this and that is why you see that more defendants wants to join the case. niyifour: Director of Media and Publicity of the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Organisation (PDPPCO), Chief Femi Fani- Kayode said yesterday that the All Progressives Congress (APC) spokesperson, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has told yet another lie about speculated the disqualification of the APC presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari from the March 28 election. Fani-Kayode in a swift reaction to Mohammed on the issue said, “Lai Mohammed has told yet another dirty lie. What on earth is our business with Buhari’s court case? “We know that he does not have a certificate and that he was not eligible to contest but we have moved on from there and we are ready to meet him in the field. The truth is that the APC are suffering from all manner of paranoia and they have lost touch with reality. “They are the proverbial conspiracy theorists who are so consumed by their own morbid fears that they sleep in their wardrobes and under their beds every night. Each time someone knocks at the gates of their homes they wave their hands in the air, they shiver and scream and they say ‘the President has sent the security people to come and arrest us’. “Frankly they deserve to be pitied. They see government conspiracies everywhere and they have become prisoners of their own wild hallucinations. The truth is that we are not in the least bit interested in General Buhari’s travails at the court and we are not in a position to influence the decision of the judge or the outcome of the case one way or the other. “The problem with the APC is that they cannot appreciate the difference between the judiciary and the executive. They are so primitive that they cannot comprehend the concept of ‘’separation of powers’. Simply because General Buhari himself controlled the courts and threatened judges when he was in power he thinks that the same thing is happening 31 years later under the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan. He does not appreciate the fact that times have changed and that our courts and judges are fiercely independent and deeply courageous. “We wish General Buhari well in his case tomorrow but frankly speaking it is the last thing on our minds and we are not losing any sleep over it. Our prayer is that, whichever way, the rule of law is upheld and that justice is done. “We also hope that he is not disqualified so that we have the opportunity to deal with him once and for all and demystify him at the polls. It would be a cruel act to deprive us of the opportunity of bursting his bubble once and for all and to humiliate him at the polls. “We must remember that it was the Director General of the Buhari Presidential Campaign Organisation, Governor Rotimi Amaechi, that has interfered with the work of the judiciary in his state and that has attempted to intimidate the judges by shutting down the state High Courts for the last one year. “It is interesting to note that when the same APC that is now calling into question the integrity of the judiciary got an injunction from the Lagos State High court to stop the broadcast of the infamous ‘Lion of Bourdillon’ documentary they did not complain about government interference in the judiciary at the time. Neither did they complain when they got another order from the Lagos State High Court to stop the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, President Goodluck Jonathan, from deploying troops to help secure lives during the election. “When things go their way the courts are good but when they suspect that they may not they then make baseless and childish allegations that have no basis in logic or reality. Our advice to them is to grow up, get real and prepare for the greatest humiliation of their lives on March 28.” Signed: Chief Femi Fani-Kayode Director of Media and Publicity Very spot on and on point. I don't know why some people are not seeing the clear facts. Keep blaming others for their faults instead of accepting their responsibilities and face the facts. Sentimental views are not a welcome development in the rule of law! This is democracy where the rule of law prevails. |

JackBaueress: Disqualify Buhari and watch the country go up in flames. Jonathan should be ready to face ICC soon. And they come with threats and more threats! What are u preaching in the first place? I thought Buhari was suppose to be an INTEGRITY personified? Why is there PERJURY and FORGERY case on him? Is he not suppose to be the saint, messiah! No man is above the law! If law goes against him, there will be no chaos! Cos will undermine is personality the more. This case is not between Jonathan and buhari....is Jonathan the one with the Perjury case, why will he face ICC? Let's be objective for ones and stop this call for calamity. Even the international community is watching to know if our judiciary is good |

genieplus86: It beats my imagination why my Ibo brothers are the ones fighting President Jonathans battle. Where are his south/south brothers. My worry is when problem starts in the North the Ibos would lose more lives and property than any tribe up North. I am afraid of the prospect of any ruling that would rob the beauty of Saturday election. Let the people decide. Whoever wins at the poll let the other candidate accept it. I desire a PEACEFUL Nigeria no matter the result of Saturday. Nigeria belongs to all of us. #votenotfight There has been a total outburst for non competence in CORRUPTION......especially from APC. Now someone saw the need to address the issue, it is now a tribal thing. I believe its all about objectivity. This court case against Buhari is not a sentimental case but a case to begin to put integrity back on board. The allegations are in BLACK n WHITE! If it was the other way round, what would have been the opinion of the opposition? Would they have come up with this position where LAI Mohammed sends out a threat statement. I want to believe they have been shouting Change n Corruption as their MANTRA..... Why are they afraid now ! The LAW does not respect any person. The LAW is even above wisdom. So if the ruling is against Buhari, why should there be chaos? If that is the case, then APC is not practising what they preach..... Let's leave tribal sentiments and Politics aside, this is a clear Judiciary case, rule of law , objectivity, integrity. If the case is not pursued to its logical and right conclusion, and sentiments comes in, Posterity will judge us. Other people would site this case to go scot free for perjury and its likes I believe there will be no chaos. |
