I'm wondering what the rationale behind "the best Motorola" could be sef. This is not a contest. I don't have to be right. You don't have to be wrong. I'm rather nonplussed.

For what it's worth however, you win.

The boldened doesn't make me feel good. It was never about winning. Funny enough, I was just enjoying the conversation.

Twas nice having a chat with you.

I've been converting oxygen to carbon dioxide... It's been on for over 24yrs now.

I tell you, it's exhausting...I've experienced few days I didn't feel like going to work but here I'm, still working.

The Lord has been merciful.

If the question was the origin of jollof rice, I'd totally side with you.

I mean, it's like asking what the best phone brand is today and someone says Motorola and then, while people like me are trying to come to terms with the rationale behind such a response, someone else in defense now says it's because Motorola invented the handheld mobile phone (they actually did in '73).

Your example would have been more appropriate if was about who makes the best Motorola. Just like Motorola is a brand of phone, so is jollof a type of rice. There are other types of phone just like we have different types of rice.

Because the Senegalese are the originators of jollof rice, it automatically becomes the best?
Or what are you trying to type cos me I don't understand

Are you trying to say, for example, Graham Bell made the first phone so that makes his phone the best phone or even better than Nokia 3310?
Don't lie, you just wanted to wow us with your knowledge of jollof rice history, right?
I guess it originated from the Jolof people of Senegal?
grin grin grin grin

And I want to believe you've been wowed.

Your illustration doesn't suit the discuss on ground. I already used a similar example and that's food. If you can nullify that, then I've learnt something.

Hahaha Wolof is not a food. It's the name of a tribe.

I know it's a tribe in Senegal and they actually own the rice. From what I know, it's called wolof rice.

The question wasn't that of origin but of personal preference. And he shared his opinion which was albeit controversial.

However, like you rightly pointed out, the country is crawling when it should be sprinting (our peers are flying). Once again, we don't know where or how the president is and it's affecting everything negatively.

I used the origin to explain why I believe he's right.

'Efo riro' is of the South west and is eaten almost all over the country yet it's better prepared by the south westerns themselves. Likewise Banga and Ogbono is better prepared by those it is indegenious to.

His answer is very very appropriate and is only deemed controversial because of lack of information and misplaced priority.

Correct answer bro
But wait a minute... Lie Mohammed just said the truth for the first time since 2015. Chaii!!!

Seems he is in "truth mode" , let's quickly ask him about the state of health of Nigeria's number one man.

I'm a lady. My sobriquet carries a pink F

About the last sentence, anyone above 70 is hardly healthy

I think he's right.

Jollof rice originated from Sengal. It is their native meal and we only copied from them.

They call it 'wollof'

In his defence, it would be stupid to give such credit to Nigeria on an international screen knowing it's only a borrowed meal.

There are more important issue facing the country, though.

When u marry because of cash then u face the consequence. Beside when u r enjoying d cash and the other room u call me?? So why r u cryin to us now??'. The fingered babe no bad ooo. Man is poplygamous in nature poor or rich,. Christian or muslim or juda or whatever. And women should learn how to leave with that. Population of women is becoming double and if ur hubby is rich, surely u won't enjoy it alone. #Fact. If u like go pray inside moon.

Lol... Brother yi funny gan sha.

Women are naturally drawn to rich guys...ya all should deal with it. If your wife is beautiful, you can't enjoy it alone after all, men are polygamous in nature.

lol.

"slave away in the kitchen" caught my eye.

This mentality is the reason why our country's divorce rate is going up. Being married means being selfless, putting others first.

You cooking for your man doesn't turn you to his slave or maid, its just you caring for him.

what I disagree with is men not reciprocating this important act of love shown by their wives.

You have no idea what it means to any man that no matter what you face in the day, come night time, madam has prepared something to take your pain away.

Slave --> to work hard... It's in the dictionary. With this, I want to believe I'm left with the last paragraph.

You are right and It does not apply to men alone. Who wouldn't feel good to know that there is a warm decent meal waiting for them at home. Now take note, 'who wouldn't'...this is why I'm of the opinion that everyone should learn how to make a decent meal.

In addition, I'm not against women cooking for their husbands. In my own opinion, if you can prepare a decent meal, why not spoil your family with it. But, I'm against prescribing gender to cooking and I'm against using culinary skills to measure the worth of a lady.

I stand on it, any mouth that wants good food should be able to prepare it. If you can or can't you have no right to castigate those who can't. If you must shame a lady for lacking culinary skills, pls, be fair enough to shame guys who lack it as well.

Romance / Re: Pls, What Is The Difference Between Talking And Communication In Relationships by Beamborla(f): 1:52pm On Apr 28, 2017
The understanding makes the difference.

If you talk and I don't understand what you've said or I arrive at a different interpretation, then there has been no communication. The sender and the receiver need to have shared understanding for communication to take place.

Simply put. You talk whenever you open your mouth to say something but when what you have said is received and interpreted/understood just the way you want it, you have communicated.
Romance / Re: She Can't Cook.. Wil You Marry Her? by Beamborla(f): 1:03pm On Apr 28, 2017
If you are a guy and can't cook, you have no right whatsoever to condemn ladies who lack culinary skills; even if you can, you don't have the right. Infact, no one reserves the to castigate anyone for lacking culinary skills.

Food is essential to our existence be you male or female as a result, everyone should learn how to cook and should be ready to take full responsibility for making sure his or her tummy is well fed. For those who lack, there are lots of options out there to choose from.

If you can't cook and you are lucky to find someone who can and is ready to slave away in the kitchen, enjoy it. Being a guy does not mean you are ENTITLED to a lady with culinary skills.

No one was born with culinary skills, we all learn and the fact that I'm a lady does not mean i must learn or i must perfect the art. Cooking is just like every other art we learn. Some learn and excel while some don't while some are not even interested.

Any mouth that wants good food should be able to prepare it. Cooking is not gender restricted...just like eating is not.

Make sure that you have got a temporal place for storage. Plantain is best stored in a place that has high ventilation and less heat; this is because a minor amount of those things can spoil it, thereby reducing its quality.
