I balance it.

My wife's money her headache and how I spend mine is non of her business.

I bought her a car, fuel it, pay all the bills in the house, feed her, pay the rent and she absolutely does nothing at home with her income. Her salary sef, I have no idea of how much.

Then she dare not ask me how I spend mine, cos she's overfed.

My prayer has always been my wife will never be as rich as I am, so the headship authority or crown is not taken from me, as God ordained it

Really?
Make sure you are the richest being on earth from the day you get married till you part with your wife

Family / Re: Nigerians Who Ever Thought Of Running Away From Home As Kids Share Their Stories by Beamborla(f): 2:18pm On Sep 30, 2017
reminiscing:

My mother beat the surname out of me when I was six just because I spent her #20 change on milk.I cried my liver out but mum didn't send so i gathered all my textbooks and cancelled my surname. I thought of running away but the only places I knew was my church and school.... I gave up Jare .
My dad flogged me with cables cos Cane was a waste of time and resources on me. That was when I hated my father and gave up on him being my father. I decided to be an FBI agent, went into work and it paid off cos I found out so many info about my family but I was still stuck cos "baba" is my blood.i wanted to run but I knew my father would break my bones and still take me to the hospital. I just mellow.
But now, I and my parents are pals......

Lol... You sha get mind self. You used her change? Chai! It never occurred to me for once.

What made me take that decision that day was because I couldn't point out my wrong doing. After my mum had beaten me and I was still asking myself 'what I do', she reported me to popsy who promised to top it up with cable of'cos. I told myself I'd rather die plus I was already convinced they were not my parent because of the constant whopping.

...i left home with my foot bare and would run into the bush whenever I saw a red car approaching. Sometimes, I wonder if I would have gone back had I not been taken back home...had the knife been sharp enough, I would have gone through with it

Till date, no one in my house have any idea that running away was my second choice.

They didn't even attempt suicide before running away.

I was going to receive some whopping so i ran away cos the knife wasn't sharp enough to get the job done; but was taken back home by a family friend I found out of my confusion... And, boy, was I whopped? Hands and legs were tied...i still have the scares.

Lol @ you're praying for whoever marries you. I'm sure the right guy will understand smiley As "flawed" as we may be on the surface, underneath it all, there's often a genuine, loving soul that doesn't ask for too much, except to be understood. I know that is all I ever ask. I may not voice it, but it's my deepest desire. Just get me. The remorse part, well, rarely do I ever give a flying bleep about what I do & how it affects others, unless I really care about a person. I which case, I will beat myself up about whatever I did. People often say I'm harsh. They just don't understand that I'm even harsher on myself. Shrugs. Seems we have a lot of things in common smiley

We sure do have a lot in common.
It hurts when I hurt someone I care about and I'm unable to express how sorry I'm.

And yes, you are right...all I crave for is someone who understands me. Have a great weekend

Wow, I so wish I could just shrug things off like you do, but I can't lol. Something I'm still working on though. I'm so glad you can relate to the rest, because it often makes me feel like a terrible person-the fact that I can't connect to about 90% of the people I meet. I'm extremely selective of who I get close to.
Lol... I had this eureka feeling when I came across your post. It's not a good one but it's reliving to know you are not alone...although, curiosity has made dig dip into it and I found out I'm phlegmatic. What can I do, I embraced it.

It's good you can at least express your anger. Sometimes, I just want to spit fire and brimstone, I want be really angry but for where? I just can't do it...can't even keep malice...lol.

It's so bad I can't even show remorse. Not like I don't feel it, I just don't know how to express it. Talk about not being able to connect with people, I should be made the queen.

I'm really praying for who would marry me.

I'm very introverted:
I don't like to go out much. Asking me to go out becomes a bargaining game tongue
I really don't like people much tongue I'm always polite though, just don't expect me to hang around your friends all the time. They're YOUR friends after all, not mine.
I can't pretend, which closely relates to the point above. I won't hang around people I don't like just because. It drains me.
This one is weird, I don't know how to express certain feelings e.g. excitement. So no, I won't "woop woop" & clap like a seal to show how excited I am, I do that inside. On the outside I simply smile smiley That can easily be mistaken for being ungrateful or whatever, but really, the feeling is there, I just don't know how to express it.
I like to be left alone sometimes to "recharge" & ponder about stuff. DO NOT DISTURB tongue

Sometimes I have a hard time controlling my emotions tongue Once my temper is lost, honey, you'll need a hound just to find it tongue Thankfully, I don't get angry for too long.
I'm brutally honest, which often mistaken for rudeness. Meh.
Oh & I'm jealous too. I love hard, that's why smiley

We have the boldened in common and it's kind of hard to find someone who really understands that.

The difference here is just like I don't get all excited, I can't get really mad as well. When offended, I try to talk about it immediately.. My anger dies off easily. And yes, I overlook things a lot because I'm too lazy to get angry.

There are different types of introverts with different personality traits. Your points are relative while some are off.

Your point no.14 is just extremely off. Most deep introverts won't tell you when you offend them. They carry so much bitterness inside of them and don't forgive easily...
