As much as I don't want Saraki at all as Senate President going by his antecedents I must accept the fact that you did clear cut justice on your submissions here. You are truly a fantastic political analyst with a good sense of history.
Tomakint how market? Saraki is still SP and will remain so till 2019. Its high time you let go of the past grin

Funny enough, when the real effect of this legislative fückery plays out, you'll be the one to wail most. Please shift your bulshit talk one side. Defenders of corruption.
Lolzzz...you sound very bitter. I am not defending corruption, its the buhari led government pretending to fight corruption while shielding corrupt practices of their appointees and cronies that are defenders of corruption. Even buhari rode to power on the proceeds of corruption.
Now I have given you one fvck, take several seats back.

You speak like someone suffering from lack of wisdom.
I guess all the Presidents of this country since 1960 have rotten heads because this thing has been happening since 1960....

One point to note:
In the last 18 years of democratic rule, only Buhari's administration has actively called out the legislators for inflating the budget or tampering with it. No other administration did.
They were called out because they failed in pocketing Nass. And yes, all the presidents since 1960 were rotten heads until buhari came calling with his deceitful change mantra and took the rot to a whole new level.

You corrupt headed individuals defending corruption at every turn are the reasons this thieves do whatever tf they want!! I wonder what kind of country you are going to leave for your generation unborn with this attitude to life.

The whole 'they are all the same' argument is for the pathetically WEAK minds to offer and consume! Criticize each and every of your public officials for the wrongs they do individually. Assuming guilt for everyone, thus allowing some to get away with evil deeds is mentally LAZY!
On whose side are you? I am for equity and good governance. It is the same Osunbande who prevailed on the efcc to stop investigation of corruption charges against Emir Sanusi. That's corruption fighting back.

The Executive presents a budget. The Legislators scrutinizes and endorse. I don't understand where the Senators got the power to add or remove project on a budget presented to them.

The Legislator's function on budgetary matter is basically for checks and balances to ensure transparency and accountability.

Saraki is just an enemy of this Administration. He only wants to drag power. He doesn't have the masses at heart. He is there for his personal interest.
Even Osinbande is there for his personal interest. The Legislature knows the Executive has had their pecuniary interests taken care before presenting the budget, they must have to add their own too or else they will be no budget. You see, once the head is rotten, the whole thing goes bad. Buhari is rotten, his entire government stinks too.

Lolz! There is pain written all over you. Your Pmb cannot usurp the powers of the legislature. Besides your pmb came into governance very very clueless and as we speak, he found solace in hiding his cluelessness under the guise of illness! Saraki knew your pmb was weak. Your pmb did his worst when he was pushed by party chieftains to do something. Today, Sarakis has trounced them all and you are on NL hating on Saraki the strongest man in APC. Lol grin

Rexology.
Don't worry. The thread will not die. It is rather unfortunate NL prefers to talk about celebrities and all that. Back to the topic. When PMB was inaugurated in 2015, he was so happy that he forgot to calm down and strategize. He mistakenly assumed things will not be difficult to fix. But this is democracy. He allowed his zeal to betray him. He didn't know things were so bad. And he started by trying to show he was now a civilian by failing to influenced leadership in the NASS. A rich and crafty boy emerged as the head in that arm of govt. PMB taught he could work with anybody. But politicians are never honest. PMB should hv known this. Anyway, now, am sure he know better. Corruption had taken roots and was even flowering at all levels, with a serious damage. Things were all in a mess. PMB was not aware of the extent of the damage. He taught things could easily be fixed. Whatever intentions he had, he is now on the verge of being overwhelmed. The effect is telling on his health. May God help us.
If you wrote this in this present time, then something is wrong somewhere. Your hero was clueless about governance. He only wanted to take power for the pecks of office. As it was in 1983, so it is in 2017. Is the vegetable decomposed completely?

That was a great man that called off the bluff of the military tyrant and stayed, fought and died in the process. The other "great" man, declared war, and ran to Ivory Coast and thereby sacrificed three million of his people to the god of iron and thunder.
;DMay be you were too young then or not born, this stammerer ran away but was tricked back into the country by his Judas friends in the north only for them to kill him with a cup of tea! Just like that.
How many millions of people died for the June 12 cause? Small boy/girl grin

They even butchered his wife in broad day light!!
