They supported tinubu because he's a yoruba muslim. You are very correct. Religious bigotry holds sway in that side. |

KingKO22: Protest is part of democracy but we should not allow Nzogbu Nzogbu people to hijack it from us
Yorubas are sophisticated, I don't see any Hausas protesting against Buhari or any Igbo protesting against Obituary
Only Yorubas can protest against its own people if we are not seeing result that we votes for After regretting voting for ebola, you can keep consoling yourself. |

shipdoc: This is becoming nauseating. Which protests are the Igbo people shouting up and down about? They litter everywhere with videos of normal people complaining and then claim they won’t protest. Just enjoy your so called billions and leave other tribes alone . This incessant attack on other tribes will keep them permanently at a distance from you. Even if you want your own country, you still need others to agree or you need to fight them in a war. Either way, you need them.
By the way, igbos have never fought for good governance. Only Yorubas have always done that. The most outspoken critic of Obasanjo were Yoruba people. The most outspoken people against ABACHA were Yoruba people. Yorubas championed NADECO. It has nothing to do with who is in governance, Yorubas always protest for good governance.
Stay at home on mondays and leave other tribe alone please. You are the one crying all over the internet and yet you claim you wont protest. Learn how to live with people. Ebi npiawa azu induced quote. Continue wailing! |

Nvestor02: There is nothing like economy hardship, it's we people that need to live up to standards.
Tinubu won't borrow money from IMF to feed anybody ass or to run government.
He would generate the money to build our requiref infrastructure internally.
Even tho, I'm very sure Tinubu will increase the minimum wage soon because there are already some negotiations about it. This one is still here writing trash while tinupo is set to borrow another huge sum to distribute to his boys. See this one. |

femisplash: In a very terse statement, you can't give what you don't have. Can southeast pull off a national protest?, do they have the dog in them to fight?, i honestly do not think so. When Prof. Yusuf Usman was asked why the SE are not talking(joining in protests), his response was that he didn't know. Maybe truly, maybe he was being sarcastic, however, historical antecedents and pattern of events have shown quite revealingly that SE has never been a forceful region to gather a momentum for a nationwide protest with an end product for change and national redirection. SE are more docile and submissive, more often than not, they needed a push from other regions to set them on the tangent. Since 1960, all major protests, never had any been ignited in the east. 1987 Ali must go, 1993 democratic movement, 1988 Anti-SAP, 2012 subsidy protest, 2020 End SARS, were either brewed from the SW, SS or North. To be candid, asking SE to talk is a weight a bit too much for them, they're much a less forceful region in Nigeria. We are too busy! We are business people! We have the most investment all over Nigeria! No idleness! We can feed ourselves no matter what! Now go back to your Ebi npiawa azu, we will not protest!! |
