I'm telling you, many companies do that, even top companies... I really wish this contract staff thing will be stopped or their benefits be reviewed In Nigeria. . Unfortunately, it's even the contract staff that do most of the works most times, after they will be denied of many benefits, some are not even entitled to laeve...
True...but then who will do the reviewing? The same people who benefit from this same scheme? One just have to keep praying, working smart and gathering the needed experience for a better and more secure job.

some of them don't look it cos maybe they're contract staff..also, bank work is tedious. .. The salaries he gave above for banks are correct according to what I hv heard...

The amount he mentioned for kpmg is for Chattered ones I think
Well, your explanation made sense. I am just surprised they pay some people that much, all I have heard is from 70k and the likes.....lol....

That means the money they ought to use in employing one staff, they split into smaller amount to employ contract staff, so they end up paying less for more work(ers)and pocketing the rest.

Them do well.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Entry Level Salaries Of Companies In Nigeria by beau49: 11:25am On Oct 08, 2014

Jobs/VacanciesRe: 3 Misconceptions That Fresh Graduates Make About Getting Jobs In Nigeria by beau49: 8:25am On Sep 04, 2014
Although some of you are right, what xfire's post is trying to say is that just because you don't have what he listed above does not mean you cannot get a job. All you need is preparation, good grades and some certain skills.

We all know 'man know man' exists in Nigeria but that does not mean those who don't know anybody can't get a job. And we also know having a masters degree does not automatically gives you a job,it might give you an edge, yes but does not guarantee you having that job.

Whatever he wrote up there is just a reminder for us to put in our best, for those still in school ensuring you put in all efforts and come out with a good grade and those who well might be too late to do for them to do that, improve on your skills and abilities. Or rather focus on getting the experience no matter how little the pay.

With your experience, grade and quality skills, the sky is your starting point.

FamilyRe: Who Is A Guy With Potential? by beau49: 11:00pm On Sep 02, 2014
Exactly!!!@ what cococandy said.

It all boils down to 'action' and not just talking alone. Ofcourse everybody wants to make it big and have nice things but what are you doing or what things are being put in place so that such dreams come true.

If the guy was doing everything possible(legally biko grin )to ensure that he achieves his dreams and wants and his girlfriend decides to leave him regardless, such a person is selfish and impatient and he his better off without such a lady.

But when a guy is very comfortable and doesn't try to improve even though his salary or income is barely enough, I won't blame any lady who decides to leave such a man. Some ladies are very ambitious and not afraid to go after what they want and having a boyfriend/partner who is well not motivated to improve in anyway is a disaster waiting to happen.
